Evies 45 3/4" tall. Poor thing is built like me. Tall is good! How tall are you? I was pumped that they said N may be 5'10 based on the double your height at 2

The situation is so odd to me because if it were not for a wet nighttime pull-up, I would never look to constipation. Josie goes once or twice a day and doesn’t strain. She eats a ton of fruits and veggies, but the pediatrician told me that things like apples bananas and carrots can actually be constipating to some kids, and she eats those things quite a bit!

guster TMI - What is the consistency of her poop? It's possible she's just not ready for nighttime training yet. Have you tried putting panties under her diaper, like you mentioned previously?

It’s hard. That’s why they recommended the exlax. And I wasn’t going to say anything but she woke up dry this morning. I hope it wasn’t a fluke!

Hmm, this is tricky. My ped said most need wetting visits end up that the kid is constipated and their colon pushes on their bladder and caused them to pee. But it sounds like she is going quite a bit. I have read that you can go a lot and still have a backup, the poop just goes around the blockage though. I maybe would consider a bit of miralax for a weekend clean out to see if she goes more, JIC. I would be hesitant to is exlax though. Fwiw my kid is legit constipated and rarely gets the bed, if he does it's a sign he really has to go.

Evies appt was this afternoon. She started crying as soon as they called us back, she was scared she was going to get shots, which she got none and they said she won't get anymore until age 11.
She was 56lbs (98th percentile) and 46" (96th percentile).

@flamigo's B is super tall too, or am I making that up? Ha, just saw this! Yes, he’s at least 49” (I think that’s what they measured when he had his tonsils out); his well-check is Wednesday so we’ll see. tallb I’d never heard that about doubling height at 2, C is already 36” so we’d be looking at 6’ I guess? I’ll have to look back at B’s records, now I’m curious. I remember B’s pedi in FL said 6’4-6’6 was his guesstimate for him at some point.

If I double height at 2, then Cadence will be 5'7". I'm only 5'4".

If I double height at 2, then Cadence will be 5'7". I'm only 5'4". C would be 6ft. I am 5'5 and DH is 5'8.5 (he says the .5 is important ). C has slowed down a lot on height since his 2nd bday and didn't gain much height at all between 3 and 4 to the point we had to go back for a height check a few months later. I don't expect him to be 6ft. Both his grandpas are though, so maybe.

Following the 2 year rule, dd would be around 5ft10. Ds’ growth doesn’t follow a normal pattern, so the double at two rule doesn’t fly for him, for now the paediatrician thinks it will be around 6ft. Average for men in Holland is a little over 6ft for men and 5ft7 for women, tall people over here.

For my girls the estimate is 5’2 and 5’4 respectively. Very plausible since I’m 5’2 and dh is 5’6.

I feel terrible but I have no idea how tall my boys were at 2. And B was just 2 in August. I’ll have to try to find it on the portal later. I’m curios, since both MH and I are short

This is me too. I'm going to have to look up their heights in their medical charts. Not sure if I'll find C's because we switched drs. I'm going to assume my kids will all be very average height like MH and I. Though A has always been super short, but he's only 9mo so I doubt it means much.

They’re not against it, just not savvy. I do hope in the future, the office staff pushes them to get there.

It makes it easy when the school asks for updated shot records(even though I keep them updated), I can just log in and print it out rather than going all the way to the office.

That reminds me, B's was last week. 49.5", 51 lbs. So basically like 99.99 percentile, lol.
