Currently mainlining coffee while watching a makeup tutorial. All the kids are still asleep and if they stay that way until I need to get them up, I can steal the next fifteen minutes for myself.

Date night was great. We had a really productive discussion and we’re trying to decide if I should go back to school. Neither of us knows how I would manage that while working and chasing after our heathens.

i am wondering if it is a holiday, traffic was a breeze coming in today. It is a slow week at work with not a lot of appts and not a lot of pending work. I may take a vacation day and take care of myself

Cadence came to my bed at 2 to let me know her socks fell off. No dear, we took them off before you fell asleep so that you wouldn't get too hot since you insisted on wearing your new flannel LOL pjs.
Luckily, she went straight back to sleep in my bed and I didn't have to deal with the conversation of "I'm not tired, lets do something".

Morning. Daylight savings had our house up early this morning. We’ve been ready for an hour and don’t have to leave for another 10 minutes.
Just went through my work email and it looks like it’s going to be another quiet day. Maybe I’ll try out our grocery stores new online ordering. Exciting times over here.

ok...I may be weird. So, one of the radio stations I listen to has a dj who's dog is very sick. She had to have his leg amputated and now his cancer is spreading rapidly. She was crying this morning about how he doesn't have much time left and is obviously very upset. I just ordered a dog cake to be sent to her dog, just to give him something special for what may be his last days. And now typing it out, I really do sound like a weirdo.

H woke up screaming a few times last night. I have no idea what the issue was but I'm tired.
MH kept asking me what was wrong with him when I came back to bed. Did he have a bad dream? How the hell do I know? He only says like 10 words but yes, he conveyed to me through pantomime that he had a bad dream.

I booked M's party at the gymnastics place for the 18th. Just waiting for them to confirm the time before sending the evite out since I did it online. I also bought cardstock over the weekend so i can attempt a baby shark cake topper.

klong11 That's very sweet of you. I'm sure the DJ is receiving a lot of things from her listeners, so I don't think it's weird...it's what animal lovers do for other animal lovers! tgrimes I hope H just had a rough night and everything is okay. Sounds dumb, but I feel anxious about leaving the puppy all day. I know she will be fine in her kennel, MIL and E are going to let her out when Preschool is over, I'm working through lunch so I can be home around 4, so the longest she will be in her kennel is 5 hours, which she does overnight, I'm just worried about a mess.

cagoldi what would you go back to school for? Glad you had a good date night! Health education and health promotion. My undergrad major had been health services management, but I think I want to shift my focus a bit. |

cagoldi I’m planning on going back to school in January. It will be in project management. It will be a little crazy but you got this. You will just need to schedule your life a lot. That’s what I’m doing.

I saw an anti-vaxxer in the wild last night when I was out for a walk with Poppy. Him: Young Lady, I’ve got some information here that is going to interest you because it’s about your beautiful baby. Me: Oh? Him: Yes, I have a nephew with autism and I’m convinced he was damaged by vaccines (as he hands me a card) Me: I really hope you don’t say that to him. One of my sons is being evaluated for autism, and if he is on the spectrum, he’s not damaged. He’s perfectly fine. Great, actually. Him: I don’t think so. Me: This conversation is over. As I walked away he was admonishing me to “do some research.” EL OH LOL   |

And obviously I only know what you share on here, but with everything you have going on, I think I'd wait to start school. It just seems like you would have way too much going on, and if you already feel overwhelmed, attending classes/online, plus homework, when will you sleep or have cagoldi time?

If I take chick fil a for Cadence's class on her birthday, what can I take for the vegetarians? I don't want to do pizza because we'll take her for pizza that evening. Or maybe she won't even care and I should just do pizza...

I leave off the cheese and I think they normally serve it with ranch but that should be fine for vegetarians. The fruit salad and fries are vegan. |
