I didn't realize this is where you are in NJ! I went to many a girl scout trips, field trips, etc to that planetarium if it's the one I'm thinking of. I grew up 15 minutes away from it. We always had so much fun! edited just in case of creepers Ahhh no. (further north). That makes more sense about where I thought you guys lived ha ha.

Going on a date tonight with H. I'm planning on getting wine drunk and painting ds1's room tomorrow morning with a hangover. Should be interesting

Hi. I'm cuddling the baby right now while H and the big watch a movie in our bed.
The baby STTN Wednesday night and I thought it was a fluke. Then she did it again last night. Guys, I haven't had a 7 hour, uninterrupted stretch of sleep probably since early in my pregnancy with DD2, maybe longer. That's like almost two years since I've slept a real, honest to God night of sleep. I feel like a totally different person. Fingers crossed this is a new normal.
Also, she'll be one in a few days. So many feels.

E took a few steps last night and a lot more today!
She had her 1 year appt today and hated every second, but she was in decent spirits tonight and went to bed normally. FX it doesn’t affect her sleep like the 6 month shots seemed to.
I’m drinking some Chardonnay that we got at a local vineyard and we’re binging on the new season of House of Cards. Perfect Friday night.

Hi all! We are on a vacation withy parents - early Christmas present, since we asked for experiences and my mom actually listens to requests. We just got finished riding The Polar Express and tomorrow we will be checking out Christmas lights close to where we are. It is so pretty here, lots of beautiful fall scenery.
A puked last night, so while not ideal, the people here were so nice and brought us another PnP and took the nasty stuff away to hose off and clean. Then the pull out was peed on, late night and sleeping in, someone's bladder didn't get the memo. So those sheets were taken care of as well.
We are in lodges and have a full kitchen, dining room, living room with pullout couch, bedroom with jacuzzi tub & sink, then another 3/4 bath, plus my parents are in the adjoining room with a bathroom, kitchenette, pullout and bed. It is SO nice to be able to cook here, eat when they are hungry and not worry about them not eating. They also deliver cookies every day. It is the little things.
This morning A called for "Ga" and "Co", his big brothers to come get him from our room. They weren't awake, but it was adorable watching him wait for a reply or to see them. That was a first, now to get "ma" more frequently; he's been calling me "da" the past few days.

Ds1 hasn't asked about his candy in two days. That means that I get to eat it now right?

clucky that sounds like such a wonderful vacation! We are pushing for more experience gifts this year too. In fact, my brother/SIL suggested that we all just go to an indoor water park (we live in WI so there’s tons of nice ones in Wisconsin Dells) instead of exchanging sibling gifts this year and I’m really excited.

pootsen, experience gifts has been wonderful. Now if I could get my IL's on board, do not need any more toys or clothing in any sizes besides ds1's next size - then they feel the need to get clothing for the other 3 too. 🤷🏻♀️ There is no space for anything else.

Right? My MIL is always buying clothes for DS2 when his dresser is already overflowing with Ds1’s hand me downs.
