That's kind of what I was thinking and what I was trying to look up but my sleep deprived brain couldn't remember what it was called lol

That meme is the definition of my life right now.
I’m pretty sure L is getting a tooth any day now. His gum feels swollen and he has all of the symptoms, so we’re just waiting. We have been up every 45 min to an hour all night for about a week now. My 3yo takes the title for worst sleeper ever, so it’s been rough times lately. H and I have not had any alone time in about a month because the evenings are such a disaster, and it’s wearing on us both.

So DD is still s craptapastic sleeper. She actually falls asleep fine. But whenever she wakes up in the middle of the night night it takes her forever to fall back asleep. (Unless she is on me). She STILL has a startle reflex and lately has been kicking her legs so much she keeps waking herself up.
She doesn’t like the pacifier but I’d starting to get attached to one of those small animal blankets.

DS cut his first tooth, and I think the second is close behind. DD never really had any issues with teething, so his slight crankiness is new to us. He's currently talking in his crib after just about a half hour nap. Lolno kid, you're going to need to sleep longer than that.

F is a pretty good nighttime sleeper and an absolutely shit napper. So I’ve been doing a little bit of sleep training at nap time. I’m just feeling down about the whole thing today though. The crying is tough but so is just giving up on the nap because then she’s so tired and unhappy later. She won’t let me rock her and the paci is not acceptable these days. I can’t win.

E was a good night time sleeper until daylight savings time. Now it’s all gone down hill.

Ugh. DD is lukewarm about the paci. However within the last week has become attached to a lovey. It helps her fall asleep so easily. However she can’t roll yet so I am so nervous with it in the crib.
So I am still not getting sleep. 😂. I give it to her. Wait until she falls asleep and then remove it. Then an hour later she wakes up, realizes it isn’t there and complains.
Just roll already!
She moves her head back and forth easily and can roll to her side. She has rolled back to front but not consistently yet.

I'm convinced that F has the skills to roll back to front but just doesn't want to yet lol

Sorry that I haven’t been around much but it sounds like the board is fairly quiet. Can I just say that I love this age? Not crawling yet but starting to sit up, they don’t need to nurse every other minute, etc... If they could only stay 6/7 months for longer ❤️

F had his first "meal" yesterday. Some baby cereal (watered down a bit) mixed with a spoonful of strawberry. He ate about half the bowl and the only reason we didn't finish it was because I couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough lol. I have to call the dietitian tomorrow who will come and give me some more direction on how to introduce solids

Sorry to hear that budders. Does your big kid have food allergies? No, he never had an issue with anything. We were joking that V can eat anything but won’t, and L is limited in what he can eat but wants all of it.

Usually solid introduction starts with Butternut, Zucchini, Sweet Potato... watered down, no salt or anything.

I finally bought some stuff to start solids 😬 I was trapped inside with both kids for 2 weeks, with the big one out of school, because smoke, then straight into Thanksgiving, and Hanukkah starts Sunday. I’ve been just slightly preoccupied. I generally roast some veggies for the big kid every week though, so I think I will just start taking some and steaming them and freezing. That should take some of the load off.
