Happy Halloween! I hope the rain stops wineallthetime! It's supposed to be upper 40s here tonight, so should be a good night. I woke Evie up super excited! "Evie, wake up, it's Halloween!" "Ugh mom, just a few more minutes." "But come on, we get to go trick or treating tonight, and you have to look at my head!" "Geez mom, I'm so tired!" "Evie, come on, get up!!!" "MOM!" I really love that I can terrorize my kid already...I thought I'd have a few more years to wait, but here we are! We are having snack day at work, so many sweets. I'm hoping to avoid it for the most part. The appliance guy is coming today between 11 and 2 to finish fixing our fridge, very convenient time for those of us that work. (sarcasm) I do believe, I will be 'working from home' this afternoon because it's going to take so long. |

For those that have leather seats, do you put anything under the car seat to protect the leather or no? The 2 cars I've had since I had Evie have had cloth, so it wasn't as important to me.

Good morning. This is Wedding btw. (blinds Halloween costume)
It was freezing out this morning and we weren't expecting it so C slipped down the front stairs because they were frosty. He was fine but he looked like a baby deer trying to stand up and I almost laughed.
Today should be a fairly easy day and I plan to leave around 3:30 to do a couple of errands before I pick C up. Since DH is away we are going to start the night at my parents and TOT there and then go to our neighborhood. I usually just leave a huge bucket of candy on our front porch and it's been ok so I will do that again this year.

Morning. I'm working from home since I have Chase's parade at daycare at 10 and Colin's at the elementary school at 2:30ish. We'll also pick the kids of early so we can have an early dinner before trick or treating. I also found the best house in town to drive by on our way home - I pass it all the time while running and they overdo it for every holiday. I think the boys will love it.
Things with DH are okay. I told him I'd start looking for therapists in town or nearby so we can go together (and potentially solo). It feels good to be doing something.

Happy Halloween friends! I’m so excited for tonight.
My FIL got up early and went to Krispy Kreme for donuts and iced coffee so that was a nice start to the day.
I think I’ll step out at lunch for more candy and adult beverages.
ETA. Mh just texted my ILs to pick up some pumpkin beer for tonight. Great minds and all.

Happy Halloween! H has a pajama party at school because they don’t celebrate Halloween there. I think they are going to watch a movie during class. I can’t remember for sure but I think MIL said she was going to come get S and take her to the library. If not, that’s fine too.

At first we are trick or treating and then we are usually in the kitchen drinking and being loud and I don't hear the kids yelling! |

I babysat my friends baby girl this morning, easiest baby ever! She smiles, sleeps and eats, amazing! I did some groceries and a few loads of laundry. I felt guilty about my selfishness and tried to make amends with myself. I made two huge lasagnas and invited my mil over for dinner, she can take one lasagna home. I’ve also made fruit salad that she can to my fil and let the kids pick out nice chocolates. It is exhausting to be nice though 😉.

Happy Halloween everyone! MH is a sucker and got Maddie a second costume for school. It's dress like a storybook character today and she wanted to be Harry Potter. He spent way too much getting all this official stuff but she looks really cute. That will be her costume for next year

Oh and get this. This morning S asked me to pull upnStrech Armstrong video’s on YouTube. I handed him the iPad and was getting something from his drawer when I heard Trump’s voice say something like ‘Don’t let them take your 2nd amendment rights. I grabbed the iPad and clicked skip and told S if he heard anything like that again to change it immediately
What the hell?? I thought my biggest fear w the iPad was too much screen time or watching too many fighting videos. Not this.

Someone in our neighborhood is asking on the nextdoor app if our neighborhood can postpone Halloween. Um, that's not the way it works. Yes, it's supposed to rain, but that's what umbrellas are for. Plus, the main rain is supposed to be this morning and afternoon. Hopefully. My response was, I have a small child too, we will be TOT tonight. She'll be dressed as Ariel though, and mermaids love water. IN other words, I'm a snarky ass bitch.  |
