Ds2 was one on 10/13.
Birth weight: 7 lb. 1 oz
Weight at one year: 23 lb 2.6oz
Birth length: 19"
Length at one year: 30.5"
What's baby up to? Standing on his own finally. Just today I caught him taking a couple steps. He claps, is starting to wave, imitates words, mama, dada, kitty, done, signs for milk and more, overall a sweet go with the flow kid who has an awesome RBF.
How is baby sleeping? STTN? No STTN here. He is still up 1-2 times to nurse. We are going to wean him off his MOTN wake up. It's just for comfort.
What is baby's favorite food? Everything. I'm not sure we've given him anything that he flat out rejected. He loves steak, chicken, and pork chops. And veggies too.
Any other favorites? He loves music. I'll catch him clapping and smiling to music in the car. It's my favorite thing.
Toy/book recommendations? [Yes I'm still trolling for Christmas ideas 😉] He likes the book "the snail and the whale" by Julia Donaldson. He's got a little bunny that he's attached to so I will be getting a couple more for Christmas. He is loving ds1's little people construction set. And his leap frog remote.
Any TTC plans? Nope! All done here.
Any sweet/funny stories to share? I love watching ds1 and ds2 play together. They are good together like 70% of the time. It gives me the warm and fuzzies. Ds1 shares his food with ds2 now and always asks "can ds2 have this?" And is always telling me (and everyone else) that ds2 is allergic to peanut butter and eggs. I think he will be a good advocate for him one day.
How are YOU doing one year PP? Doing well! No PP period yet but I'm still nursing 5-6 times a day. Trying to get him through cold and flu season.

Ds1 eats peanut free and mostly egg free too. It's just been easier. But dairy is harder to avoid. He was telling people that HE was allergic to peanut butter and I was like oh no! Don't do that lol. |

What's baby up to? Cruising, waving, conversational babbling, singing, dancing, being generally adorable
How is baby sleeping? STTN? Bedtime is usually around 7pm, she'll wake up anywhere from 5-7am. Still the occationally night time wake up. I'm dreading dropping our morning bottle (the only one she takes) because I can usually get her back to sleep after if it's really early. I have no other tricks.
What is baby's favorite food? Roasted broccoli and steak. She's fancy.
Any other favorites? Whatever I'm eating. Even if it's what she's eating. Desserts. Blues Clues. Songs with a good bass. Climbing. Going "bye bye."
Toy/book recommendations? Gotta Go, Buffalo. Vegtables in Underwear. She likes climbing into DS's camp chair, so I think we will get her one or an Anywhere-type Chair for Christmas.
Any TTC plans? LOL, NO.
Any sweet/funny stories to share? She's very serious when we are out and about. She gives all the old ladies at the store her best RBF when they try to get her to smile. At home she is so loud and funny.
She's started tilting her head to the side and giving doe eyes when she's being silly and wants attention.
DS and DD1 are her favorite people and she lights up when we pick them up from school.
How are YOU doing one year PP? My uterus has been a mess since dd2 was born. I got an IUD in August since I kept having 2 periods a month in the pill. I finally stopped spotting from that a week or so ago and things are looking up! I feel like I've been wearing some type of feminine hygiene product every day since she was born. It's nice to be free!
I started therapy a few months agoand it has really helped my overall stress levels. I've learned to let things go and I think that's made me a better mom of three.

What's baby up to? Loving daycare. Taking a few steps, but mostly crawling like a maniac around the house
How is baby sleeping? STTN? She sleeps 7-6:30 most nights
What is baby's favorite food? Mashed cauliflower maybe.
Any TTC plans? Nope! I have to decide before July what to do with my embryos though. I don’t want to pay to keep them frozen for another year if we’re not going to use them,
How are YOU doing one year PP? Great! I’m 10-11lbs below my pre pregnancy weight and getting back to my normal running pace

What's baby up to? Walking. She's trying sooooo hard and is up to like 5-6 steps at a time.
How is baby sleeping? STTN? It's like a switch flipped the last few weeks and she suddenly started STTN. Hopefully it sticks.
What is baby's favorite food? Bananas, pizza, strawberries, everything. She's the most food aggressive baby ever. Loves food.
Any other favorites? She's into baby dolls, little people toys, and things that take some figuring out like the car race track toy, and the fisher price pop up animal toy thing.
Toy/book recommendations? [Yes I'm still trolling for Christmas ideas 😉]
Any TTC plans? The plan is tentatively this summer, though if we move and I have to find a new job it'll get pushed back a few months until I'd be able to be due around FMLA eligible due date. I want to be done at 3, H wants to have infinity children.
Any sweet/funny stories to share? She loves when you give her kisses all over her cheeks and neck, she laughs so hard. Then she tries to do it back but does the slobbery open mouth baby kisses and just happily rubs her drooly open mouth all over my face. It's pretty gross and adorable.
How are YOU doing one year PP? Decent. Weaned off my PPD meds, lost all my baby weight. Still tired, but that's life.

Any other favorites? Her sister 😍 also she loves playing peekaboo

Any TTC plans? Not yet. Probably when Dd2 is closer to 3 because I absolutely love the almost 4 year age gap
Any sweet/funny stories to share? DD2 has been hugging and just so snuggly. Lying her head on our chests. So so sweet.
How are YOU doing one year PP? Great! I have lost all the baby weight plus 10 lb, still have 20 lb to pre DD1 weight but I feel really strong and am liking my muscle definition. I feel like myself again much sooner than I did with DD1.

How is baby sleeping? STTN? Occasionally sleeping through the night, otherwise one wake up between 7 and 7 or so. Two naps still.
What is baby's favorite food? Chicken wings, pizza, raspberries, kiwi, cheese and crackers
Any other favorites? Grandma, milk in her sippy cup, her stuffed bunny at bedtime (face plants into him)
Toy/book recommendations? Little people, wooden puzzles ( just for banging together at this point), things she can put in other things
Any TTC plans? None
Any sweet/funny stories to share? She loves her bunny and will grab him though the crib bars and snuggle him any chance she gets
How are YOU doing one year PP? Good! Back to a good weight. Hormones mess up my skin though so I'm not glad to have my period back.

blabbermouth I'm glad I'm not the only sleep rule breaker. Both my kids have always slept with blankets. C especially loves them. E took pacifiers so hers were just for warmth but C snuggles and cuddles hers. Sometimes I worry but if she wakes up without it she freaks out, sooooo.

He clicks his tongue to ask for kisses or at the mention of hugs & kisses and comes running. How is baby sleeping? STTN? Sort of, he has started to co-sleep again and I'm okay with that. What is baby's favorite food? He tries everything and prefers to feed himself, which gets everywhere. Any other favorites? He loves applesauce pouches and will try and finish off the big boys'. He is a really good eater. Toy/book recommendations? We have too much, but he and DS3 love my old cabbage patch doll. What's baby up to? Being naughty. Getting into shit. Yelling. Clapping and waving byebye, pointing to identify things when asked, taking 4-6 steps at a time but mostly still crawling. He gives the BEST hugs and big open mouthed kisses.
How is baby sleeping? STTN? Lol, nope. Wakes at least once a night. I’m over it.
What is baby's favorite food? Everything except eggs. Seriously, he eats anything and everything. He really gets excited for spaghetti.
Any other favorites? His brother and the dog’s water bowl.
Toy/book recommendations? [Yes I'm still trolling for Christmas ideas 😉] He got a little balance bike/ride on toy for his birthday and he loves it.

How are YOU doing one year PP? Pretty decent. My weight is almost at my pre-DS1 weight but I’d still like to lose another ~15lbs. Now that I’ll be done pumping at the end of the week I think I’ll start doing some more cardio. I’m tired of diet restrictions but I know it’s not forever.

What's baby up to? Calvin acts like he’s a big boy just like his brother. Walks everywhere, plays with all the toys, babbles and screeches but no real words yet, claps, dances. He’s so sweet and smiley. I call him my little celebrity because when we go out in public he just smiles at everyone and most people stop to ooh and ahh over him and talk to him.
How is baby sleeping? STTN? No. Usually only gets up once a night. I know what to do to sleep train, I just don’t want to yet for some reason lol.
What is baby's favorite food? Fruit. My MIL gave him a container of blueberries for Halloween.
Any other favorites? His big bro, the cats, remotes, cabinets/doors that he can open and close, phones, balls.
Toy/book recommendations? [Yes I'm still trolling for Christmas ideas 😉] We love the spinagain stacking toy
Any TTC plans? Not unless we win the lottery
Any sweet/funny stories to share? He’s always looking for a snack. The other day, he got into the lazy Susan where we keep cereal and other snacky stuff, grabbed a fig bar, walked over to his high chair, and screeched until I put him in his seat and opened it up for him.
How are YOU doing one year PP? I’m pretty good. Tried to go off my ppa meds over the summer but that was no bueno so I’m still on them but feeling nice and balanced. Physically, I’m eating mostly healthy and trying to work out 3-4 times a week, hoping to push for more weight loss now that I’m mostly done breastfeeding.

Pretty good. I lost all of the baby weight very quickly, unfortunately I hadn't lost ds1's baby weight and it's very stubborn!

What's baby up to? He’s crawling and into everything. He can cruise the furniture but won’t let go. He claps, points, and plays peekaboo. He loves putting things in buckets/boxes and then dumping them out.
How is baby sleeping? STTN? Nope. For awhile it was down to one wake up but the molars are killing us.
What is baby's favorite food? Cheese.
Any other favorites? The “(c)ats”, puppy dog pals, remotes, and crawling away laughing.
Toy/book recommendations? [Yes I'm still trolling for Christmas ideas 😉] he’s getting a vtech go-go car set and additional cars from us. We got bath toys for his birthday, some little people, and a set of pull back cars that are pretty big. We normally buy books from the daycare scholastic magazine. He likes the touchy-feely books.
Any TTC plans? We are planning on NTNP when the age gap would be close to 2.5 years and maybe do a frozen transfer this time next year. I don’t have it in me to try too hard after B.
Any sweet/funny stories to share? My mom watched him this week and we had just dropped his crib. She’s 5’ tall and she said it took 3 tries to get him in. Also apparently at daycare he stands at the gate and bangs on it at meal times.
How are YOU doing one year PP? I’m exhausted. I think I did have some kind of post partum depletion but now that I’m not pumping and spending nights washing bottles it’s getting better. I just need sleep. And to lose another 15-20#.
