I’m nervous so I’m going to post a lot.
I have to brag on my X Man. He’s been writing the letter A, and trying to write his name and Atticus’ as well. He’s identifying most capital letters correctly. He’s sitting for twenty- thirty minutes at a time trying to practice writing letters.
This is where I see his “hyper focus” and think he’s got the most incredible little mind.

Bullshit, joelies. They’re entitled to their crappy opinions, but you’re entitled to a workplace that isn’t hostile. Ridiculous. Very unprofessional conduct on the part of these individuals.

nam2013 that looks like a fun celebration. I too am not sure how they are going to be 5. I told E "2 more mondays" and I really can't believe it! I can't believe it's been 5 years since I moved into this house and 5 yrs since I was pregnant.

Get 'em joelies! That's completely unprofessional to talk like that at work and assume people are fine with it. Megyn Kelly can gtfo, she is the worst. I'm still pissed that nbc picked her and pushed out Tamron Hall. I do love Craig Melvin, he's from DC and I miss him on our local news. Not that I watch morning tv, but I have opinions! Also early voting is started, get out there ladies! I wish I lived int Texas to vote for Beto😍

Also N is a month from turning 2 and suddenly the worst. She refused to wear what I pick out, won't get in car seat, screams for me. Please just be a phase, please be a very short phase.

Morning! DH took B to school so that got my day off to a convenient start. Just laundry and trying to get organized for our trip...SSDD. I need to order B some more long-sleeved tees and such, too. We seemed to have skipped right over the 70s and plunged into 50s and low 60s. wineallthetime guster thankfully C doesn't wake up quite that early (yet) but she gets up earlier than B. She will babble for a bit, then start calling for us. If DH goes in to get her she yells, 'Yay!' If I go in, I get a look like, "What took you so long?" peachsmama I hope everything goes smoothly!

I feel like C went through a phase like this in August/September. Impossible to please, fighting everything, stubborn, clingy. I was seriously worried that I was looking at months or years of it. And now she is back to her (mostly) sweet, sunny self. So hopefully this will be short-lived for N, too.

Maybe it's a toddler wonder week.

Morning! I’m sensing a very lazy day here. It’s cold and rainy so we’re watching shows on the couch. I do need to make a target run at some point and get find birthday gifts for 3 of my nieces. I also have mountains of laundry to fold. And maybe I’ll try and harass the cabinet guy again since he refuses to give me an answer on an install date.. which is supposed to be a week from Monday.

Stayed home from work today. I feel the need to purge and organize crap at the house and need to be alone to do it.
So obviously, I'm sitting on the couch catching up on A Million Little Things on hulu.

joelies I'm sorry you have to suffer through those conversations. I am thankful I work in possibly the most liberal environment. There are like 3 Trump supporters here and they mostly keep quiet about it b/c they are such a minority. When Obama was inaugurated, my old boss was so proud he set up a big screen tv in our reception area and made an announcement that anyone who wanted to watch was welcome to come up there and watch. I looked over and saw that he was crying. He said he was just so happy to be a part of this historic moment. So needless to say, I am around like minded individuals here. Score 1 point for working in the entertainment industry.

Also solidarity on the 2 year olds acting terrible. B has been giving us a run for our money lately. And he is super attached to MH (which never really happened with S) and he left this morning so I'm nervous about how the next few days will go without him. First thing when I go in to get him in the morning he says "Where Daddy??"

Charlie will actually tell mh “No, daddy! Where’s mommy?” If he gets him from the crib. He’s happy to see him once he’s out of bed, by apparently I have to be the one to do it.

guster S still likes me to get him out of bed in the morning. And if MH goes in there he will tell him no and that he wants to wait for me. S is such a momma's boy, it's insane.

MH can do nothing in the mornings this whole week according to the kids, it's all 'MOMMMMMMMMYYYYY DOOOOOO', it's not delightful thinking of not one but two stories and topics of conversations to distract them from the fact that I've woken them up at an ungodly hour and getting them out the door in record time. This week has been a test in patience and I've so far succeed, one more morning....one more morning....

He is all over my twitter and I watch pretty much all of the clips/videos. It's such a nice change to listen to intelligence, common sense and someone that listens.

Good luck today peachsmama tgrimes and cagoldijoelies Good for you for speaking up. I'm a firm believer that silence in situations like that emboldens people and can be interpreted as agreement. "Silence is violence" as they say...give 'em hell.

Sitting outside Target. I am hosting a Halloween cookie decorating party for neighbor kids tomorrow night, so I need to get a few last minute things. In other news, my Dad came by last for dinner and asked when/if I would meet his girlfriend. Still thinking through that one.
Also, my oldest son has a JOB INTERVIEW (Good Lord, I am officially old) at Saks Off Fifth today! Cross all your fingers and toes for him, I'm already purchasing things in my mind with his employee discount. Rushed him into the barber shop for an emergency line-up last night, so he's looking fresh 😁

mskatiep flamingo and anyone else who might work for for the government or DOD check out Child Care Aware. We just found out anout it and discovered we get a $200 break from the government for daycare. It's all dependent on salary, cost of living, and daycare cost.
