Happy Wednesday! Preschool and a few errands.
I really need to buckle down and make a list of things for Josie‘s birthday party. The theme, decorations, and the cake are clear in my mind, but I don’t know if I want to serve brunch (which is so easy, but what I always tend to do for their parties) or lunch.

I'm trying to figure out menu for C's parties as well. We're having a 4pm family party on a Saturday and then a 5:30pm friend party on a Friday. Guessing for the friends we will just do pizza, snacks and dessert. For the family party I'm debating doing baked sandwiches, meatballs, fruit and salad (along with some appetizers and dessert).

I need to figure out the details of E's party as well, but we are just having family, and everyone knows the date, so I'm not too worried about it.

I totally forgot to check my tickets this morning, but heard the sad news about the lottery on the way to work. It's amazing that someone matched all the numbers and gets the total payout.

Preschool and stay-and-play for B this morning (can I get an Amen?) He woke up on the wrong side of the bed, which is super unlike him...Wednesday's at school are his favorite so hopefully that will help him reset.

C is sitting next to me at the breakfast bar eating plain bread and pretending to make a PBJ. I'm going to run with her to DSW after drop-off to get some shoes for her Halloween costume, and then we have to get back here b/c the carpet cleaners are coming b/n 10-12. We have to have it done annually...oh look, someone living up to the expectations of the lease!! Weird, huh?

Morning. I did not wake up rich - I didn't even get my $2 back. Whomp, whomp.

So the weirdest thing happened this morning. One of the CFL bulbs in our kitchen fixture that hangs over the table burnt out and the smell was TERRIBLE. It took awhile for us to figure out where it was coming from but it was a strong, burnt plastic smell that ultimately traced directly to the bulb. Apparently it's not all that rare, though I don't remember that ever happening before. The smell is in my hair and was in the boys' bags when I put them in the car. ICK.

At least it was a distraction for the boys, since they'd been super grumpy up to that point. Silver lining, right??

Hello. DD is still home sick and T doesn’t go to school on Wednesday so I have 3 out of 4 stuck in the house today. I plan to swap out my summer/winter clothes. Luckily I only have to do my own because the kids have enough space to have everything out.

They also live in a state where they are allowed to remain anonymous, which is great for them. If they are smart, they will take that option.

Working today and doing my grocery order for the birthday party. Matthew's dental surgery is tomorrow. Those with experience, should he be good for school on Friday? He hates to miss school...

peachsmama, what all is he having done again? Cadence probably could have gone to school the day of her feelings, she had no issues. They did use gas on her, but they have her sit on plain oxygen for a few minutes to flush it out afterwards.

A baby root canal is what they call it, plus 2 fillings. They're putting him under since the laughing gas did squat for him.

Morning! I’m going to check in now because I haven’t been able to for the last few days! This week is crazy for us. We camped Saturday through Monday and the weather was perfect and we had so much fun. On Monday night we had the end of season pizza parties for all three of our soccer teams at peter piper (aka the 7th circle of hell). Last night we had two makeup soccer games and two baseball practices, but everything ended up getting cancelled last minutes because of a storm. Today is Lucas’s bday and I have to get a cake and pull the other boys out of school early so we can go to his school because they do parties for each of the kids. The I have to rush home for pizza, presents and more cake with my parents. Tomorrow I have an ortho app because I’m getting Invisalign (so excited!) and a regular dr app. Friday I’m chaperoning Lucas’s field trip to the state fair. Saturday we have our three final soccer games back to back, and then Lucas’s bday party for friends in the afternoon. Top that all off with the fact that my in-laws are coming to stay with us Friday so I also have to get my house clean!

TL:DR I love you all, this week is insane, I’ll be checking in to read but don’t know if I’ll have time to post.

B had 2 tiny fillings done and was eating chicken nuggets within an hour or two afterwards. He has always bounced back quickly from anesthesia, too (although he only had a local for his fillings). 

I would think he'd be fine to go to school on Fri.

Wow. that is a busy week! 

My mom got Invisalign this summer and loves it! You can already see a change in her teeth.
