M has a dentist appt this morning for the space maintainer. She asked me if she was going to cry and I said no. Then she asked if she'd get a prize. Lol.
MH took her. When he told his boss yesterday that he would be taking her to the dentist and would be late he asked him if he was a single parent now. WTF? Does he have any idea how many appts there's been this year? I've done all of them except 2. I have 2 more this week and one next week.
I hate that guy.

I'm drinking coffee, but there was already water in the keurig when I got here and I don't know if the person who filled it used bottled water or not. I guess we'll just wait and see.....
side note: this is because we are still under a boil notice, not because I'm fancy and require bottled water.

The boil notice is for the whole city. The shut off was going to be Thursday, to work on pipes here around the office due to all the new apartment complexes going in, but they postponed it until next week.

Present! Things have been a bit nuts lately, so I'm out of the loop. I've gotten on a handful of times and started to write a post before something came up. This week is happily looking a lot less hectic.
H is getting his 2nd vasectomy today, so I am sticking around the house to get a few things done and be available for him. I did get an apology from the office manager for the "paternity issues" comment , in case you all were wondering. Just crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly today. Not sure I would survive a number 6! 😬

Woke up not feeling great. My stomach is not right. I took a zofran just in case and I think it’s just starting to kick in. I skipped coffee and just made tea at work. Thankfully, I don’t have a busy day.

dapostrophe I'm glad you got an apology, I hope they realize not to say that to anyone else ever again. Will your husband be going back to be tested in a few months, to make sure this one took? tgrimes That is a shit thing to say. What was M's response to him? I think Evie is finally feeling better. She napped for FOUR hours yesterday. This kid who never naps...so yeah, she was feeling crappy. She is the snack leader at preschool today, plus the fire department is coming, so she was excited about school. In other news, I think between H and E, those two assholes are making me catch some crap. My head hurts, my throat is scratchy and my stomach isn't great. H slept like shit last night, which means I slept like shit, from his tossing and turning, coughing and opening the fridge so the light woke me up. I'm glad he's out of town tonight so I can get a good night sleep.

Hello. I was suppose to be tracking down 310 jello cups, popcorns and waters for DD’s school today but she woke up with a migraine so we are home. C is still not sleeping more than 45 minutes at a time. DH will be late tonight getting home. I’m exhausted.

Morning! I've had a very unproductive morning after ranting with a coworker in our kitchen for a good half hour. We have some blatantly racist/homophobic/misogynistic coworkers who feel the need to constantly talk "politics" - and yes, I put it in quotes when their main "news" source is Fox News - right in our open environment so no one can escape the nasty shit they say. It's really awkward because one of the worst offenders is the husband of a coworker I've been friends with for 11 years now. To be fair, she's almost as bad, but far less vocal. So reporting him will likely turn into WW3 but I'm not sure me snapping and punching him in the face out of anger is going to go over any better...
In other news, this morning turned into a major fight when I made Colin wear pants with buttons on the back pockets. He's been anti-buttons for ages but I had to finally put my foot down and just have the fight. He left the house in the pants I picked, looking handsome and perfectly happy. So now I just wish I'd had this fight sooner, haha.

Morning all! I've had a rough couple of days and am just exhausted.
Things at home are kind of shitty w MH now. Nothing new, just all the same problems that are just driving me nuts and making me question if this is what I want for the next 40-50 years.
Work has been terrible. Between the harassment situation I've been dealing with, multiple employees leaving, and all the regular stuff, it's just a lot. And it sucks that I come home and don't want to deal with MH.
Oh and last night B had his first allergic reaction since he was diagnosed at a year old. He's fine. But I didn't sleep b/c I was so nervous... I googled, which was stupid and read about something called "delayed anaphylaxis" which apparently means even if they don't stop breathing right away it can happen at any point over the next day. So cue me checking to make sure he was breathing approximately 843 times last night.
Of course MH was sleeping like a baby without a care in the world.

I have the absolute worst headache. I think it’s bordering on a migraine because any bit of light is destroying me. I took some Excedrin and am thinking about another cup of coffee, but I am not going to go out with the kids so it looks like it will be a long day here until mh comes home at three
