Wellll I applied for that job and got the invitation for an interview a few minutes later. It's on Friday.. cue freak-out. I hate interviews. I suck at them. And I still can't believe I have to go through the full interview process internally. They use the STAR process here. UGH!

hangry I am terrified of Trans Atlantic travel but would kill for some authentic Italian. waitwhat Omg I was terrified just reading it, can't imagine the panic of experiencing it. Where do I purchase toddler size handcuffs for when that age gets here? tgrimes That dip sounds ahhhhhmazing. I was also creeping the rest of your phone pics down at the bottom hoping for something completely inappropriate that I could rip you on. No such luck. danib Enjoy shopping! goldenlove That is amazing!!! If they scheduled an interview that quick all I can say is that you're probably a shoe in and I wouldn't even think twice about the interview, it's probably just a formality. Good luck!!!!!

Waiting for the pedi to call me back. I'm questioning if AV might have a urinary infection? I'd just rather be safe and check. I think I mentioned she has a poop throne, the little floor bouncer. She insists on pooping there with her morning bottle. Well that's awesome except the poop squashes into her vagina. I try to do a good job cleaning up but I've always been concerned since she's been doing this. Well past 24 hours I've noticed a few instances where she'll grunt or like cry out and then I feel her diaper getting warm (wet). So yeah, I'm wondering if it's painful peeing or if it's just coincidence with all the teething pain she's having.
Also I asked my mom to bring me A snack last night. One. She brought me chips ahoy, snickers, Reese's cup, Twix, a brownie from the bakery, and a slice of chocolate cake from the bakery. Damn you woman!!!!!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

kleigh yesterday at the ped she asked about any issues with pee since N had a random fever. She said they are often tricky with baby girls to determine if a UTI, but since she was already on abx, it was probably another virus. Otherwise she would want us to wait for her to pee to get a sample😮

But both her and AB had it and it was gone in 24 hrs, only went up to like 100.5+- . I still haven't heard back from the office, sort of annoyed bc Hs sister is graduating from 8th grade tonight and I'm betting they're gonna call me to come in during their "walk in" hours (after 5:30).

Cheshie6 haha I think I have a style of my own. There was no brilliantly elicited confession like in Legally Blonde; it was more if a slow picking apart of the story. If I have some time after my pedicure this afternoon I will post some details about the trial on the private board.

I'm with you on the trans Atlantic travel kleigh. I'm pretty much terrified of flying anywhere, but over oceans is particularly scary to me. As a result, I've never been on a flight over 4 hrs long and I've never left the Northern or Western hemispheres. Someday, I hope I can just take a bunch of anti-anxiety medicine and just do it. I'll have to of my dad ever moves to Australia. waitwhat That's terrifying!! I'm glad it all turned out ok. Good luck goldenlove! I'm not sure what the STAR process is, but I hope it goes well so you can get this new job! Also, happy anniversary!! Wow tjanca22! That's amazing. It takes me usually an hour just to get all of us dressed and in the car. Sounds like a nice day dashook! Enjoy it!

Cheshie6 I don't know what it is, it terrifies me!!!! I'm like classymrsa I really don't like flying to begin with so I've never really flown more than 4.5 hour flight and I HATE flying over water ! Omg just talking about flying gives me shivers. I mean, I hope I don't pass that fear onto my kids bc I want them to be, well, not fearful and not limiting themselves. But yeah, I'll fly bc I like seeing new things and experiencing new places but have not yet grown the balls to fly over large continuous bodies of water

Huh, I would never think that flying over water would be worse than flying over anything else, yet here are 2 of you! I get motion sickness sometimes so that stresses me out with flying. But trust, it is worth it for what's on the other side.

MH Is Useless, episode 3479:
He WFH today because he has a mild cold. At 6:30 he came downstairs, played basketball with DS for 15 minutes, then as our nanny was leaving, walked upstairs to take a nap.
Pretty fucking convenient to be napping at 7:00pm (aka beginning of kids' bedtime routine). I'm so pissed.

I need help y'all. My IL's want to be there for both girls' birthdays. I was planning to do separate parties about a month apart, but I'm rethinking that so that a) I don't have to throw two parties so close together and b) my in-laws can come and celebrate both of them.
Here's my dilemma. First, I feel like Lilah should have her own 1st birthday party like Lillian did. But of course then I'm doing double the work, one grandparent will miss it, and our friends have to come to two parties. So, is it the right thing to combine them or is it worth all that to separate them? If i did do one, do I aim for the middle between the birthdays or do I wait until Lilah's? And I wanted to do a My Little Pony party at a kid's amusement park for Lillian and a pink, mint, and gold elephant themed party for Lilah. Do I combine them into one thing or do two different sets of decorations?

But trust, it is worth it for what's on the other side. Theres some irrational belief in me that if something were to go wrong and an emergency landing was necessary it's easier on land than water. I'm terrified of cruises too. Big wide open body of water where I can't see land? Noooooooooo thank you. Don't mind that I actually honeymooned on a tiny ass island about 3 miles in area. And spent another night on an island so tiny you could see ocean on both sides of you at all times.

classymrsa That is rough! I could see wanting the grandparents there for both. My sister combined her 2 and 4 year olds b-days this year (4/15 and 4/29), they didn't seem to care - and thats one boy and one girl. Plus just thinking about the twins they'll always have to share. So I guess what I'm saying is I think it's fine to combine them. As fat as the theme, I'd let Lillian have that one and then work in the decor and/or other things for Lilah. I'd also think about ways of incorporating Lillian into the celebration for Lilah so that (a) you can make a bigger todo of the 1st bday party and not feel bad and (b) to ease any upset by Lillian. Just throwing out ideas, let her make a cake for Lilah or help build a pony piñata or something (?)

hangry Oh I believe you that it's worth it! I think the reason I'm more freaked out over water is that there's no where to land! Once I'm done breastfeeding, I'll be getting some ativan or something like that so I can better handle flying. I love to see new places, but my anxiety gets in the way. dashook That would piss me off.

classymrsa my girlfriend did a combined 1st and 3rd bday party for her boys and it was adorable! She had it at a park and the 1 y.o. had a smash cake, etc (they brought his high chair) and then the regular cake had both their names. It actually worked out really well bc the older (non-baby) guests in attendance could participate in the activities and games geared towards the 3 y.o. I would totally consider doing it for my two, especially now that we'll be living away from my hometown. For your girls, I'd kind of combine the themes...use the pink/gold/mint color scheme for everything (decor, plates and napkins, etc), let any games, favors and the big cake be MLP, and make the baby an elephant smash cake.

This is where we differ kleigh. I enjoy cruises. I love being on the water. Seeing the wide open ocean ahead of me is super relaxing. It shouldn't be given my anxiety of all the things. Anxiety and stuff is so irrational and annoying!

classymrsa my nieces are two years apart minus one day (7/2 and 7/3). They always have shared parties. It always seems to work out! I think doing one is fine and probably would if I were in your shoes.
