Thank you! Today has been a lot better. My doctor prescribed me an acute attack medication to take when I just can't get calmed down. DH is pretty upset that I was prescribed yet another medication. He thinks I should try exercise during a panic attack instead of reaching for medication. I get his reasoning: I'm on a seizure med, zoloft and now this, my family does have a history of addiction and the dr said if overused this is an addicting drug. Knowing that I'll only use it as last resort. I don't think he truly understands anxiety. Plus he listens to some anti-medication type podcasts. He's the one who urged me to seek help for my anxiety in the first place so I hope he will do a bit more research so he can be more supportive.

jessijean Liked for the better day. I'm very glad that you've reached out and are getting the help you need. IME anxiety is just something you can't possibly understand unless you've lived it. I'm not a doctor, but I see you being very conscientious about managing your anxiety and medications. I hope YH will come around and be more supportive to you.

I understand his fear, but I hope he comes to a place where he can better understand anxiety so he can be more supportive for you. If you had strep throat and there was medicine for it, he wouldn't want you to just exercise it away. Anxiety is no different- it is something that is a medical issue and there is treatment for, so why not take medicine that can help? Hugs to you and go you for taking care of yourself! I know it's a hard thing to do.

jessijean I’m sorry things have been rough. Anxiety sucks so much. Mine isn’t as bad as yours and still some days I feel like I’m suffocating. I hope you can figure out a great combo of meds that allows you to enjoy your days. Thinking of you!

My kids have been asking Alexa to play ‘baby shark’ all week, and it is stuck in my head non stop. I think I’m going insane. Every time I wake up it’s the first thing that pops into my head. Someone save me!
Also, four kids is a lot of work. Lol. Part of it is we’ve let the older ones each do too many different activities. Between school, dance, soccer, etc, were on the go all the time anymore. And if we aren’t I’m trying to catch up on laundry and dishes. Oy. But it’s a lot of fun too. Just incredibly exhausting.

DS1 is out of surgery. It went well. Ears were full of fluid and his adenoids were large so he should hear and breathe better now. Hopefully we will have less doctor visits now!

Sorry, I haven’t posted in a bit. I am super sick. I feel like crap. It’s been a lousy two days. In a little while I am going take some more medicine and go to bed.

Sorry I’ve been mia. I had some blood work done for our work health insurance and one level cane back high that meant not good things (cancer, liver failure). They did a redraw and some additional work yesterday and my level is already within normal range. There still going to look at what had to be sent out but I’m in a much better place now.

Thanks marygracerich They would never have done the additional blood work if this was my level a week ago so it sounds like it’s a positive thing. A lot nursing moms it sounds like have this happen.

No more fever and I feel like I can walk now. However I now have a cough that is killing me. I will survive.

ajetter you seriously are super mom! I only have 2 and get overwhelmed most days lol Same here I foolishly thought that #2 would be easier than #1, HA! Boy was I wrong. Newborn phase easy, but add a demanding toddler to the mix you lose your mind by the end of the day. It’ll get better, it’ll get easier, I know. This mama misses her sleep and sanity. Will I ever get either back? Probably not. Lol

If anyone needs clothes Primary is having a huge sale on their baby clothes. I ordered some pajamas from them for the boys Halloween costumes and I’ve been very impressed. I know a lot of you like HA and I’ve heard they rival HA quality.

pinkcat, that goat costume is hilarious and so cute! Thank you!! My dad since before DS was born has always joked that he is the "G.O.A.T" (Greatest of all time) so when I saw that costume I knew I had to get it! We took pictures in it to give to my dad for his birthday and he will be so excited.

pinkcat, I am cracking up. I think your DS looks a lot like my work friend's baby that was born Jan 2018 and...they had him in the same lion costume!
