Week/Fruit: 10w0d. Prune. May 20
STM
Appointments: Nov 8 for labs and US.
Milestones: None this week
Symptoms: Nausea hell and tired. I just tried peppermint and spearmint in my diffuser at the recommendation of a friend and I think it’s helping a little! The kitchen and fridge is just off limits. I actually bought myself a nose plug to use when I open the fridge.
Rants: My clothes don’t fit but I don’t look pregnant and don’t really want to announce yet especially to my patients. I want to wait til our next appt. I got out my maternity stuff but trying not to wear to the office yet.
Raves: I’m glad to be in the double digits for weeks! FX everything is going ok in my ute LoL.
GTKY: I love my job but it’s stressful. I suppose there is stress in every job. I’d love to be an interior designer and work for hgtv or something LoL.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 11, brussel sprout, 5/10
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: Nov. 8
Milestones: baby has all major parts!
Symptoms: the nausea is so awful. Tired, super sniffer nose. I have gained a lot of weight, but do not look pregnant. I pulled out the maternity pants.
Rants: I started taking Diclegis to help with the nausea, but it increases my tired by a lot. I am 11+3, so maybe I will try stopping the meds in hopes that the nausea is ready to start going down on it's own anyways.
Raves: I really want to see the baby one more time, then I will feel comfortable really telling people.
GTKY: If you could have any job what would you do? I actually think I have close to the perfect job for me. It is very research heavy, I have projects I have to accomplish that support large programs, but I have a good bit of freedom in how I acomplish what I need to do, as long as I get enough documentation out that things were done in a technically sound way. I work with people a lot smarter than me, so i am always shocked I got this job. My 2 current projects will actually fly, and there will be parts of those flights I will be able to point to and say I had a part in that. I do wish the job was located somewhere else though, I don't love where we live.

Week/Fruit: 7w4d, blueberry, 6/6/19
FTM
Appointments: 11/1 ultrasound
Milestones: saw the heartbeat last week!
Symptoms: nausea and fatigue. I seem to be getting better at anticipating and avoiding the nausea though, so that’s good!
Rants: it’s uncomfortable to wear my jeans now, but i feel like it’s too early to go buy maternity jeans. I’ve been living in yoga pants and leggings for the most part, throwing a skirt over leggings if I need to dress it up.
Raves: I went for a walk yesterday! Between the nausea and the cold I hadn’t gotten much exercise in a couple weeks, but it was a really nice day yesterday and it felt good to get outside
GTKY: I’m pretty much doing my dream job. The only thing I’d change is maybe make myself full-time at one of my schools (I adjunct at 2 colleges) so I have more stability. And then I would pretty much cut out freelance designing except for shows I really care about.

FTM, Etc: 4th pregnancy STM
Appointments: this week...booking it today
Milestones: No spotting. Super dark tests super early.
Symptoms: Loss of appetite. Breasts are starting to get sore.
Rants: Just stressed in anticipation of us...which is weeks and weeks away.
Raves: That we got back to this point so quickly. I was convinced we would be starting the IVF process in November.
GTKY: If you could have any job what would you do? I love my job. But I'd be a writer. Novelist. Who knows. Maybe some day:)

bonzo I say go for the mat jeans. They are so much more comfortable. I started wearing mine at 6 weeks this past summer. I imagine I'll be in mine pretty soon if all goes well. No shame here:)

Week/Fruit/EDD: 5w4d/black peppercorn/June 20th STM Appointments: Friday is my first appt. Likely just boring stuff since its so early. Milestones: First appt this week. Symptoms: Mostly tired. My nausea set in at exactly 6 weeks last time so I'm preparing myself, I think it's a lose lose situation though because either I'll feel awful, or I'll be worried something is wrong. Rants: My in laws are coming to visit tomorrow and I'm not a fan of fil most of the time. Raves: My in laws are coming into town so I might get to nap more GTKY: If you could have any job what would you do? I'm a SAHM and I really enjoy it. I never really had a huge calling to anything else so I'm not sure what I would choose really. I worked as a computer technician before having kids and I enjoyed it but I don't know that it was my dream job. I did tech trainings as part of that job and liked that the best - so maybe something related to that.

Week: 11. Due 5/9
STM
Appointments: not until November!
Milestones: None that I can think of.
Symptoms: A little heartburn but not too bad, and the nausea is much more manageable now. I cooked a nice dinner and dessert yesterday for the first time since I got pregnant. It was so nice to feel a little more normal!
Rants: My H still hasn't told his family about the pregnancy and its starting to annoy me.
Raves: I didn't have to work last week and then I had a really good weekend. It was really refreshing to be feeling better and have a few relaxing days.
GTKY: I'm pretty happy where I'm at now. I work very part time hours as a nurse at a small hospital, so I'm really more of a SAHM and I love it. I think eventually I would like to SAH full time but it's not possible yet. One day!

mamabear02 My nausea always kicks in at 6 weeks on the dot. Throwing up starts at 10. And I'm one of the lucky ones who stays sick until delivery:/ I'd say enjoy any nausea free days you have left! sunny75 With DD SO didn't tell his mom until I was 22 weeks:/ His excuse was he didn't want to worry her needlessly if something went wrong. But in reality it's because even though we've been together nearly 20 years we never got married and he was worried about her reaction to us having a child out of wedlock. Needless to say he told her about the next two pregnancies immediately! ETA I'm not telling anyone about this one until I have one good us. Only my parents know. And SO obviously.

sammysam, That's so funny that he waited that long the first time! I wouldn't be surprised if it took my H that long to tell his family too. I'm glad you only have to wait a couple days for your ultrasound! I'm sure you'll feel much better after that!

sunny75 It's just an appointment on Wednesday but they'll schedule the US. It likely won't be until late November or even December. Yeah, when he told his mom she was like "Yeah...I already figured that out". We were going there every couple of weeks and my belly was quite obvious by that point. I'll wait until after the first US this time to tell her. I'd wait longer but I have a feeling I'm going to show early again.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 9w 1d, May 26th
FTM, Etc: STM
Appointments: Nov 15th
Milestones:
Symptoms: Tired, nauseous, don't want food/eat everything in sight, then nauseous again.
Rants: Nothing really, just tired, and it's hard keeping up with the 19 month old. Also, I can't do the dishes, we don't have a dishwasher, and if I don't wash every dish the moment it's done being used, EVERY dish in the house piles up. And the kitchen smells. I can't go in there. I suck at housework lately.
Raves: Finally caught up on all my bills.
GTKY: If you could have any job what would you do?: I don't know. I like being a sahm/farmers wife, but I would have liked to do something in journalism or writing.

sammysam, I went ahead and ordered some! They didn’t have my size available in store, so I should get them next week. quinstar, I have been having the same problem with housework. I’m just so tired, and anything that smells instantly makes me nauseous! I feel like I can stay on top of the dishwasher, but that’s about it. I’ve thought about vacuuming for...5 days now? I need to get H to just do it I think.

I am in the not getting housework done group. The house is worse than it has been in a long time, and that is saying a lot. I just have no energy at all. And the cleaning girls come Wednesday morning so I NEED to get the house picked up, but I just can't. I really wish others in my house would pick up after themselves more, it makes me sad to see how bad it gets when I don't do everything apparently. DH at least takes care of the dishes.

Add me to the housework stuff.
H is actually steam mopping right now because he knows I keep meaning to do it and he wants me to go watch a Netflix with him. Marriage is all about compromise LoL.

I got my MaterniT results today! Baby has no makers for trisomies 21, 18, or 13! Always a relief! I know that is not an all clear, but still great news.
She could have told me boy or girl, but DH kind of wants to be team green this time, so I told her not to tell me. It is kind of exciting knowing that I could find out what we are having with one phone call though!

@starzia I’m a day past you and I can’t find the HB yet with my Doppler either but I’ve been trying for about a week. It’s frustrating because I could find E’s by this time but I know it’s still early.

@starzia With DD my doctor couldn't find the heartbeat at 12 weeks. Luckily my NT scan was scheduled for a few days later so I got to see everything was ok. But I totally get the stress of not being able to find it. Even if rationally you know you might not.

I think I go here now, still waiting for bloodwork to confirm.. Week/Fruit/EDD: 5 weeks, sesame seed, June 27 FTM, Etc: 3rd pregnancy, 9 yr old twins, and one loss Appointments: Did blood work yesterday for beta and progesterone, first nurse visit is 11/19 Milestones: I don't know Symptoms: Nausea, sore boobs, dizziness, headaches (trying to cut back on caffeine), backache and cramping (which is making me nervous, though I know it's supposed to be normal) Rants: Last two pregnancies were under the care of the RE so I'm used to lots of testing right away and am having a hard time being patient. The nurse actually laughed at me yesterday afternoon when I called to see if my bloodwork from earlier that day was done yet. Clearly, I've been in a bubble and things must move a lot faster in the RE world. Raves: DH has been pretty awesome - I think he's afraid to show too much excitement and is being cautiously optimistic after our loss but I can tell that he's excited and caught him looking up tips for dealing with morning sickness for me. GTKY: If you could have any job what would you do? I would love to get paid to write. Let me set up a comfy home office with a desk by the window, sip tea, and lose myself in writing stores. bearfootzcontinued Congratulations! I'm so sorry about your previous loss. There are a few of us loss mommas on here so we totally get the anxiety. If it makes you feel any better I've been refreshing my lab test portal all morning waiting for my blood work results to come in. Which is silly since I'm not getting repeat labs so the hcg won't mean anything anyways:P

I got my first positive test a full week ago and today is the first day I didn't pee on a test. But I'm pretty sure I will tomorrow:/

bearfootzcontinued, welcome! Blood work is so much faster in the RE world. I love same day results! I had some other panels run for my PCP this summer, and it took a week or so to get the results. It seemed like forever!

My numbers didn't come back so great, I guess. Going back in for more bloodwork on Saturday to see what the HCG level is and starting progesterone supplements. Trying to stay positive.
