joelies I would really put a stop to YH checking out all day on Sunday to watch football. Does he forget that he has children?! That’s a lot to expect you to do everything so he can watch football. Is this “free day” ever reciprocated? And MH tends to run off to work on house projects in the garage and I’ve had to talk to him about it too.

Hey. I spent some time outside this morning planting spring bulbs. I can’t wait for them to bloom next year, it’s going to be so pretty. Girls are eating lunch now and then will go down for a nap. I am going grocery shopping while they are sleeping. DH is still being a butthead and H isn’t listening so it’ll be a nice break.

tgrimes I hope H is feeling better soon and doesn’t end up with an EI. I think you don’t see the HP hype because you’re watching it now as an adult. I have been watching it since I was a little girl so it’s nostalgic to me. My girls like it too.

+3 to I don't get the Hocus Pocus hype. I was thinking of seeing if it's on demand/free streaming somewhere so the girls could watch it and I could give it another try, but I don't expect much out of it. This year our Halloween store had an entire area devoted to it.

Some of the happiest days of my childhood were when the Schwann man made his deliveries.

This morning I was about to leave for work and turned on the car when I heard a blood curdling scream. I hadn't even moved yet but I thought "did I run someone over, was a cat in the engine?!" Then like a scene straight out of a horror movie a face appeared on the passenger side window with arms outstretched, banging on the glass, and wailing. It was Cass. Didn't want me to go to work. Normally sound asleep as t that time. I assured her she'd see me at lunch because she's helping MH with pizza sales. Lordy. 0630 drama is hard to contain.

I penciled it in and let M do everything else. Jack is still drying because he needed 2 coats of white. Hopefully he’ll dry in an hour so we can finish before we head to the in-laws’ house.

H and DS are back from the tournament, they won 2 games and lost 2 games. We did Halloween Arts and Crafts at my neighbor’s this morning. Now H is walking the dog then I’m grocery shopping. I wouldn’t mind grocery shopping except no one gives me any thoughts on food they want then everyone pouts when I don’t get what they want. I also don’t mind Halloween but we have a Halloween event Thursday-Sunday this week.

MH clearly needs some alone time so I'm taking the kids for ice cream and the park. Hoping to keep them entertained for a few hours to give him a break.

Hi! I'm behind but can hopefully catch up later tonight. We just got back to the house, unloaded the car and got the heat turned on (brrr!) and now DH has headed out to pick up the dog from the kennel.

Hope you all had a nice weekend! Ours was fun and relaxing; I loved seeing my nephew and the rest of my family, and my mom and I found dresses (not matching, ha) for the wedding next month

I just got up for the day at 5pm. I’ve been hit with something. Low grade headache and feeling dumpy but no fever. Who knows. I spent most of the day in bed yesterday as well. Hopefully I’m turning a corner here for the work week. Dh and C are out getting groceries.

I’ve lost steam. I did really good with my to do list yesterday. I was supposed to start on more stuff today after my grocery run, but M2 was napping and I have no motivation. MH took M with him to work for a few hours. When they get back, I’ll get dinner started.

Stayed home while mh took Cadence to a birthday party. I tried to clean up her toys. I threw away a bag of junk, have a box full of stuff in my trunk for Goodwill and looking around it looks like I didn't do a thing. She has so many small random things.
I'm exhausted.
Plus she and I went to the grocery store this morning.
Now I'm making chili and doing laundry.

We have a lot of little shoes and accessories. She knows who each little thing belongs to, me not so much. I may have just tossed some things that she'll probably ask for in the next few days. 😬

Bula! (Fijian for hello)

We moved to our second part of the trip yesterday. It was an hour boat ride and then 4 hour bus ride to then new resort. But it is gorgeous! The first week/resort was more of a cultural experience mixed with a lot of spa visits (on the beach). This resort is less cultural/more resort like. But still with lots of spa visits! The send off from the island we were on was wonderful. They hugged us and sent us off with a traditional goodbye song. It was beautiful. We are finally getting a little sunshine and I’m hoping to come home from 2 weeks in Fiji with at least a little bit of a tan!

Currently I in a hammock on the beach reading on the iPad (and checking in here of course too!).
