Weeks pregnant/Due date: 19 +5, March 6
Baby is the size of a: somewhere in the 🍌 range
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Blue
Appointments: 10 days until my anatomy scan
Symptoms: so hungry, feel faint with too much exertion
Milestones: feeling him wake me up with little kicks at 6:24 am the last 3 mornings in a row
Rants/Raves/Vents: my anxiety is giving me a hard time right now.... I’m still waiting for a referral to the prenatal mental health counselling program here and it’s been almost 7 weeks. I could really use the talk therapy. I might have to become a squeaky wheel soon.
GTKY: describe you dream home! - 4 bedrooms + small office, master on main, about 2000 sq feet. A den for tv watching so we don’t have to have a tv in the main living room. A fireplace and great natural light in the living room. A walk in pantry! A deep soaker tub. A mudroom. I’m just saying sexy house-related words now.

Baby is the size of a: Orange
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: Green
Appointments: 10/22, I need this week to hurry up!
Symptoms: Bleeding gums, eye twitch, I'm not 100% sure that's pregnancy related but it's been so much worse the past month than ever, almost every day so I'm guessing it is in some way
Rants/Raves/Vents: Not related to me but I am SO excited for new royal baby!!
GTKY: describe you dream home! One story, 3-4 bedrooms, master on opposite side from other rooms, lot of open space and natural light, high ceilings

bex15 I don’t know how much science is behind it but I have really bad eye twitches sometimes and I try to load up on potassium rich foods (bananas are all I can think of right now) and it does seem to help... or maybe it just makes me feel like I’m doing something while I wait for the twitch to pass. They make me bonkers!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 17w4d March 21
Baby is the size of a: Game controller
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Thursday with OB/fetal tones, Monday at HR for an u/s!
Symptoms: I already feel like everything is so squished in there, which is not good lol. I get so full so quickly and I have to make myself stop earlier than normal so I don't feel miserable for hours afterwards, and I have to stretch out to get a good deep breath. Still feel him around in there but not super consistently yet.
Rants/Raves/Vents: We went away for the weekend and I was so glad not to feel miserable the whole time. We did the same thing when I was pregnant with E and I ended up with bad nausea most of the weekend which was a major bummer. Second tri has been good to me so far!
GTKY: describe you dream home! One floor (with finished basement), 4 bedrooms and separate den area. Lots of natural lighting. Walk in pantry. BIG bathrooms with BIG tubs for my tall self. And I'd like to just move our back porch/backyard to this dream house.
Share any U/S or bump pics if you'd like: No pics but this last week I've definitely noticeably popped. I would feel comfortable wearing fitted maternity tops now (instead of the flowy ones I've stuck to).

Rants/Raves/Vents: speaking of baby announcemnets if we are gonna do a SM announcement I should figure out what GTKY: describe you dream home! Updated farmhouse. 2 Story with 10ish acres to go with it so I can raise some farm animals. Also a bathroom on each story. And a porch with part of it screened in. jewelsofthenile what animals would you like to keep? I dream of a small hobby farm but MH knows me better than I know myself and keeps me in check. He’s right that I’m more into cooking and making things with the animal products than actually enjoying the care and keeping of small beasts. But in my mind I’m a chicken, pig, milk goat, babydoll sheep, and alpaca farmer.

Tlex I'm sorry it's taking so long to get you in, I would definitely start bugging them more and more. 7 weeks is a long time! Agree with this for sure. 7 weeks is entirely too long to wait for a simple referral. Your mental health deserves prompt attention, too.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 12/ April 28 Baby is the size of a: Apricot FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Finding out. Appointments: Not for another two weeks and I’m in that omg I just need to hear the heartbeat slump I was in two weeks before the last appt lol. Symptoms: Just the typical fog brain and occasional nausea but mostly things have lightened up Milestones: 12 weeks 🤞 Rants/Raves/Vents: I had my first ever therapy appt today. I was convinced if I had fog brain going on something must be wrong and if it was depression I wanted to work on it ASAP. She said today she wants to see me next week but thinks it’s a lot of anxiety and sees nothing to think depression gave me some tips to try to start doing daily as almost regular maintence and to be gentle on myself with this fog brain thing after having losses and being so sick this first tri while chasing a toddler. I laughed though when talking and I brought up my IL (huge backstory but basically I think what caused my anxiety) her eyes got so big 😂 I was like yes. See they are crazy and I’m not. GTKY: describe you dream home! Basically my house now but a little bigger with more land 😂 we keep browsing houses but can’t find anything with the musts (which our current house has) big covered porch, fire place, dream home would have 10-20+ acres since story farmhouse style/ craftsman. And the best kitchen you could ever imagine. I love to cook kitchen is important. If we had enough land i would graze cattle. At our current house we could probably have chickens and rabbits. I havent gotten any animals though because we visit my parents on weekends fairly often and we would need a nieghbor to feed the animals. We would need more money for all these ideas.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 17 weeks, March 22
Baby is the size of a: Pomegranite
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue! I grew up with just my mom and sister so a house full of boys is going to be ridiculous, in a fun way...
Appointments: Four weeks.
Symptoms: I’m actually feeling pretty good these days. I really need to get my butt in gear and workout regularly.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I wish I wasn’t so irritable sometimes and could just chill.
GTKY: describe you dream home! I’ve been living in apartments for so long it would be nice just to have my own home. Something big enough for our family, remodeled and in a great school district would be wonderful.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 12+5/April 25 Baby is the size of a: apricot FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: green Appointments: had my NT ultrasound today Baby is measuring 4 days ahead and everything looks good. It was sucking its thumb most of the time. They couldn’t get a measurement of the back of the neck so they did the cell free DNA blood draw instead of the normal sequential screen, but visually neck wasn’t enlarged or anything. Should have the results in the next couple of weeks. Symptoms: nausea is better but still have random waves of it. I feel like my sense of smell kicked up a few notches from where it was already. Milestones: have been able to find the baby’s heartbeat with the home doppler Rants/Raves/Vents: none GTKY: describe you dream home! I think I live in my dream home. 4 beds/3 baths. 1st floor laundry/mud room. Eat in kitchen. Tons of storage. Finished basement, dedicated office, and playroom. 1 acre of property. The only thing that could make it better is if we had public sewer and natural gas. Switching to propane when we moved here was an adjustment. Share any U/S or bump pics if you'd like:

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 13+4 / April 19
Baby is the size of a: jalapeño pepper
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Pink 💕
Appointments: Tomorrow for regular OB
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, headaches, exhaustion
Milestones: Out of 1st Tri? My stomach missed the memo though
Rants/Raves/Vents: I’m so tired of being sick and so tired of being tired. I just want to feel somewhat normal for a bit.
GTKY: describe you dream home! We have a great house now. That said, I have a list of things I would do differently. More interior insulation/ sound proofing, dual masters, downstairs master separate from living space, a dedicated office. And since we’re dreaming, someone to come decorate and arrange my house.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 18w 2d.
Baby is the size of a: sweet potato
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: find out!
Appointments: my next check up is next Friday and then my anatomy scan is the 30th!
Symptoms: I’m still pretty tired. I think I’m actually getting cravings lately. And my shoes are getting harder to put on. 😂
Milestones: I’ve been feeling the baby a bit more lately.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am having the hardest time finding clothes I like.
GTKY: describe you dream home! Hmm. 4 bedrooms, a big kitchen & also a dining room. A playroom for the kids and a large living room. A finished basement. A huge front porch. Lots of storage space! I love my hike now but we really lack storage. And a big porch. Ha

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 17w2d, March 3 eviction date.
Baby is the size of a: 2 pomegranates
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM/TTM (twins)
Team: Double blue 💙💙
Appointments: Oct 22nd for an ultrasound check. November 6 for anatomy scan (election day!)
Symptoms: Some heartburn, which is new. Having to pee at least 1x per night. Sore hips from sleeping on my side. A new one is I feel my heart beating faster occasionally. Tire very easily.
Milestones: Feeling babies move a little more, still not super consistent though. Also we told our 4 y.o. daughter. She was so excited and said, "I always wanted to be a big sister!" 😍 I am tearing up thinking about it.
Rants/Raves/Vents: So I need to vent about my OB office and the MFM specialist. I feel like I'm playing telephone between the two. Apparently my OB ultrasound tech did not measure 2 things last week, and the MFM was not happy. The OB is generally more relaxed and the MFM is like WE MUST TRACK ALL THE THINGS!!! I was on the phone yesterday for about 45 minutes yesterday trying to clear things up, return calls, trying to get through to the right person, coordinating my OB office to send over an order for the scan, etc. The OB's nurse privately said that she recomend I do the scans at the MFM because the OB office may miss something that the MFM wanted. It just seems very disorganized, mostly on my OB's end. Not sure if I will look for a new one or not. They seem like they'd be fine for a regular pregnancy, but very unsure when it comes to twin questions. Vent over!
GTKY: describe you dream home! I really like our current 110 year old home, but I would do updates that we currently don't have the budget for. Kitchen renovation keeping the age and style of the house in mind. Finishing the basement, moving the existing powder room, that sort of thing. I really love the charm of old houses, and love our neighborhood.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 18 wks 3 day, march 16
Baby is the size of a: sugar glider
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: ttm
Team: find out Oct 30th!
Appointments: We met with my second midwife today. She was lovely and everything is going well. Baby had a heartbeat of 140 which is low compared to my girls so now my mom is now convinced it's a boy haha
Symptoms: waking up at night to pee or to re-adjust, nauseous when I don't sleep enough. My littlest decided 3:30 was a good time to get up and wouldn't fall back asleep so I was very sick this morning.
Milestones: my belly is more rounded out now so I love it. I always have more self confidence when pregnant.
Rants/Raves/Vents: so random but I was finally able to eat sweets again and had this delcious ice cream sandwich with freshly baked cookies. So yummy and now I want another.
GTKY: describe you dream home! I loved our last home. It was an updated 1920s character home with original wood floors and built in bookshelves. I love older wooden staircases and arched doorways. It just made you feel cozy and at home but sadly it was too small for our growing family. If I could just have it in a bigger size and have it in our area now that would be awesome.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 16+2, EDD of 3/31/19
Baby is the size of a: Avocado
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM, third pregnancy
Team: Finding out. Hopefully a week from Friday!
Appointments: Spontaneously changed my appt to last Friday from this Friday. Next will be 11/21 with the AS! My parents will be in town to visit, so they will get to see the baby
Symptoms: Tired, getting up at night to pee, getting cold, sore nips
Milestones: 16 weeks! Every week is a milestone!
Rants/Raves/Vents: So excited to find out the sex of the baby. I don’t care either way of baby is a boy or a girl, but I want to know like right now.
GTKY: describe you dream home!
4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath. I want a spacious house, but not huge. I want a finished basement. I would love 50+ acres with a variety of animals.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 14 weeks / April 17th
Baby is the size of a: peach
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Friday
Symptoms: Just some stretching/tugging in my stomach. He's growing!
Milestones: I'm feeling him move more often now. It's actually insane how much I can feel him. What they say about feeling subsequent pregnancies earlier is absolutely true.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Working moms, who has announced at work? I'm not showing, per se (well, I can tell I'm getting bigger but it's not obvious yet), so I'm wondering how long I can wait before telling my boss.
GTKY: describe you dream home! I love my house. It's a perfect size with 4 bedrooms in a great family neighborhood. But, I sort of hate my kitchen and if I had infinite money I would demolish it and build it back up with white cabinets, bright backsplash, under cabinet lighting, stainless steel appliances and of course knocking out the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Maybe someday...

@ges072115 I have not announced at work officially yet. One coworker knows, but I haven’t told my boss. I’m sure he suspects, but I’ll probably wait until about 15 weeks to tell him, maybe longer. Do you have a reason for wanting to wait? My boss likes to take away job duties and treats pregnancy like a huge inconvenience for him, so I prefer to wait a bit longer.

@ges072115 I'm not working this time but with E I told work around 9 weeks. I worked in a smaller branch (10-12 people total) and the morning sickness wasn't something I could keep saying was food poisoning...lol. But I was close with all of them and knew my boss would be happy for me, so I didn't mind announcing that early.
I think when you're comfortable is fine, and your relationship with your boss and depending on what sort of coverage or replacement they'll need to prepare for when you'll be on leave will make a difference too. I don't think you're entitled to tell them by any certain point, but I know most employers would appreciate as much notice as possible so they aren't scrambling.

jacks I don't think I have a specific reason for wanting to wait, except that I'm not sure how people will react. My boss is a childless male in his mid-30s, but that doesn't mean he won't be supportive. I just don't know. This is a pretty tight knit team and I'm not the only one with a young child. I didn't work here during my last pregnancy. I'm probably just overthinking this.

@ges072115 I annouced at work this time at 13 weeks everyone was surprised. The last two times they already thought I was pregnant at 13 weeks when I annouced. So I did a better job of hiding with flowy shirts this time. I think by 15 weeks it would have been obvious. I feel I look twenty weeks now at 16 weeks.
