Morning. So we found out that 5 other kids in M2’s class are out and a few of them have RSV. He tested negative for everything yesterday and the pedi said it was just a viral cold and if he’s not better by the end of the week to come back. He was acting normal this morning so hopefully he is on the mend and it’s not full blown RSV.
At least I know he did probably get this from daycare. I’ve been racking my brain about what we did and what did he touch all weekend with me thinking maybe it could have been something he picked up while we were out.

I hope he feels better and doesn't have to go back lahdeedah. His snapchat was so cute, poor little guy! Does anyone remember me talking about something randomly going off, playing Happy Birthday, in Evie's room about a month or so ago? Well, last night, Evie was in her room playing on the tablet and I was in the living room and it started going off again. She came out to get me, but I heard it and was getting up. I narrowed it down to the same area as before, but couldn't figure it out. As I asked Evie what she had been doing, it started playing again and I finally figured out that it is a damn Hello Kitty piggy bank. The thing is like a foot tall, but I shined (shone?) my flashlight up in it, and there is NOTHING that I see that makes it play music. I reached out to the girl that gave it to me and she said it did the same thing to them. So we aren't losing our minds, but I'll be damned if I'm putting it back in Evie's bedroom. H told me to take it to the garage and take a hammer to it. I'll save that for him when he returns from Colorado. My guess is there is something on the slot that should play music when you put coins in it, but I tried that after Evie went to bed, and couldn't get it to play again. |

lfig, aw, what a beautiful photo. It's such a hard transition but I'm happy they'll be together. chrisy01 team wait until you get there and if you need one check out WalMart and Target. I got the girls' at Target a couple years ago for around $12. I bought a size-up for each of them so they have lasted more than one season. If you do have to buy one it'd be nice if your parents could just store it there since you won't need it at home. Enjoy your massage mwhip!

Took the day off work. Cadence's appointment is at 2, so I'm picking her up at 12. I don't want to interrupt naptime by picking her up any later. So I've spent the morning lying in bed. Coworker keeps texting me that different people are looking for me....I don't give a shit. If I'm not at work, I don't want constant reminders about work. I wish she would just leave me alone. The world isn't going to collapse if an attorney has to wait a day for a file. We're oil and gas, not litigation, none of the files are THAT important. Plus, maybe this will make them start saving shit on their computers rather than killing all the trees and wasting money on storage!! Ok, work rant over, back to catching up on my shows.  |

klong11 It's so annoying when people bother you with work stuff, when you have time off. I always remind my co-workers that we aren't doing rocket science here...we build telecommunications cabinets, anything can wait a day. Or even a week for that matter. I do not get paid enough to be interrupted for some bullshit question.

chrisy01, I can hardly recall any thanksgivings that we’ve had measurable snow here. I would just stop at Walmart or target and pickup a heavier jacket, hat and mittens once you land

Last night our adult TKD class had belt testing. I did really well and I'm proud of myself. It helped to picture Kavanaugh's smug pighead face as I smashed through my board. The girls test tonight. I'm excited for them but dreading the whole fiasco. There are so many kids testing it will be crowded and take for.ev.er. I don't care about watching other people's kids.
Work has been insane. No slowing down. It's burning me out a bit. But I can only do so much.
We're plugging along on Harry Potter. The girls were excited we finished another chapter and have less than 100 pages left. They understand it pretty well. I'm such a sap now that I have kids and the Mirror of Erised chapter mad me all sad for Harry.

klong11 , it annoys me so much when people do that. People asking me much about work is always a litmus test for how well they know me. Occasionally, like everyone, something happens that upsets me and I bitch about it to my friends/family, but otherwise I don't like to think about work when I'm not here. When the only small talk people can come up with is "how's work going" I just want to table it and move on to something, anything else. I mean, what's there to say...SSDD and it will be for the next 25ish years until I retire.

chrisy01, even if there is snow I probably wouldn't buy a snowsuit. One time I didn't have a snowsuit that fit S when it snowed, and he wanted to go out, I just put 2 pairs of pants on him and let him play. I'd say boots and a coat would be the most important, if it actually snows.

Morning ladies. I just realized I need to get LO a snowsuit for our trip to Minnesota. We are only there a week. Do you know where I can get a cheap snowsuit for size 5 that’s not crazy expensive? do you need a full snow suit or just a warm coat? Well if there is snow he wants to play in it. If there isn’t snow then we won’t be outside much |

lfig what a wonderful photo and memory. I hope they realize how relaxing life is once they have assistance and I hope they are given plenty of opportunities to enjoy activities mwhip I would get rid of it and buy a new one. Clearly it is broken

Hi.
Did my workout this morning, then ended up walking with some of the ladies from MOPS after drop-off. We didn't have time to hit Loft, which is probably just as well...I just want a necklace they have so I'll wait til a sale. Now I'm here waiting on the appliance repair guy. Supposedly he'll be here around 1.
ETA: he was on time and said the microwave needs to be replaced. Yesssssss. Sorry, homeowner.

HI!!! It's crazy here. With the two funerals, mom having been in the hospital, insane at work, birthday parties and nesting it's been an intense month. I think things have finally calmed down. I will be around more.

Maybe that is just the lighting giving that impression, but I would not think that something ceramic would play music. Plastic, I could totally see. So, so odd.
