Hi. I’m a mostly lurker. I decided to pay for Enty’s podcast for a month or two because I’m running 8 million miles right now while training for a race and needed something new to listen to. I listened to the first podcast on Brittany Murphy and thought I’d share the highlights.

- She wouldn’t sleep with Harvey so he hated her. He prevented her from winning any Oscars, got her fired from movies, including Happy Feet 2, prevented her from working on new projects and started the drug rumors about her.
- In the year before her death (starting 2008), she was paranoid that people were after her. She died December, 2009. In October, 2009, she called the police about gun shots at her house. Their report said it was a generator. She didn’t have a generator.
- She was written out of The Expendables around this time. The press reported that it was because she needed nose reconstruction due to her cocaine use. Enty claims that BM herself started that rumor because she didn’t want to travel out of the country during the filming of the movie because someone was going to kill her. Also, they added one additional day of filming in New Orleans and planned to have the whole cast and crew fly there for one day, and she thought that was suspicious. Enty says he didn’t understand why the fact that it was New Orleans was significant at the time but he does now.
- She was being poisoned in 2009. No further details.
- In November, 2009 someone tried to kill her in Puerto Rico while she was filming The Caller. Again, no details. She walked off the set.
- Somehow Jonathan Brandis is tied up in all of this? They dated at some point. He’s going to explain later.
- Jonathan Brandis also didn’t kill himself. And neither did Chester Bennington. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yikes, that’s long! I’m planning on listening to the second BM episode tomorrow, so I can share if you guys are interested!

I was all in on the Brittany Murphy until all those other names were thrown in. I’ve just always found it so weird that her husband died a few months later of seemingly the same thing (pneumonia and anemia). Just too strange.

Just to clarify, I don’t think Chester Bennington has anything to do with Brittany Murphy. He just threw it in as an aside when he was talking about Brandis’ suicide/murder. But I’ll let you know if he connects anything in the second episode.

I see I am very late and we debated MM realness

I will say my part even though you talked about it last night

1. I think she is an actress and like i said you can take an actress out of Hollywood, but you can't take Hollywood out of an actress so I think that some things are calculated and some are just her subconscious being used to handling things a certain way.
2. I think that she loves Harry and as we all know Harry is smitten with her. I believe that their love story was quick and started from not a blind date, but it is what it is.
3. My dd is obsessed with Meghan and that she looks like her and that she thinks girls can do anything so whether it is fake or not she got my dd taking pride in her curls and things that no matter how many times I say it she wanted to see someone like her. Is it right don't know, but I will encourage her to believe in her and her humanitarian until it is fully proven otherwise. Her other obsession is ariana grande and no just no

All these things said I go back and forth with her and I hope that they are both in the relationship for the right reasons and that it is true love.

Ha, I did, too! Ladybugs was a popular sleepover movie - we all loved him.

Enty said they dated when they were teenagers. Brandis took her to his prom. But he’s hasn’t said how their deaths were connected.

A film was being made overseas and several of the actors in this movie that was supposed to be a big box office hit took advantage of their position as stars with the local female population and also threw around enough cash to the local police where nothing was said or done about their activities. One of the worst offenders was an A list mostly movie actor at the time. Foreign born and was really kicking it into gear. There was another A+ lister on the movie and a future A- list mostly television actor. They went after every female teen in the town where they were filming. They didn't care how old, and whether it was completely voluntary.

One actor who didn't participate was at the time probably B/B- list and fading. Because he didn't participate, everyone shunned him. They made sure he knew how things worked and basically ruined what was left of his career. Down the road, when he couldn't get a break, he threatened to expose what went on and he suddenly "suicided" himself. No note.

I really hope the part about him not participating is true.

Also, trying to figure out the movie in question. Hart's War, maybe? I know the rumor was he was super depressed his part got edited out in that movie.

ETA: It fits, IMO. Colin Farrell (foreign born, kicking it into gear), Bruce Willis (A+ lister) and Adrien Grenier (A- list mostly tv actor)...
