I like to believe most things in blinds for the fun of it, but I do not believe the oral sex on stage story. 🤷♀️ I used to hate Lady Gaga, but she's grown on me a lot over the years. That wasn't a blind though, that was someone's actual story (or her friend's story, anyway). I mostly meant I like to believe any story I read, whether a blind or friend story. But I think plenty of people would make up stories about people they used to know to sound interesting. Now, of course, you guys are making me feel uncomfortable about all these gross af art stories so I admit I am sheltered and have no idea what I'm talking about lol. |

A lot of performance art is complete shit. Marina Abromović has done some really important, amazing work. Rhythm 0 is a really fascinating piece. Also, she collaborated with her romantic partner (also a performance artist)for many, many years. When they broke up in 1988, they both walked from either end of the Great Wall of China, meeting in the middle to say goodbye. They didn’t see each other for quite some time until in 2010, when she did a performance of “The Artist is Present” at MoMa. In this performance she sits silently at a table while the public individually sits across from her for as long as they choose. Her ex partner showed up at the performance as a surprise. |

You can just see the emotions on their faces and the flood of memories. |

Verne Troyer’s death has been ruled a suicide by alcohol. So sad seeing him struggle through the years. I remember him on the Surreal Life being just blackout driving his motorized scooter into walls.

A girl I went to art school with made some type of clothing, a shirt I think, out of chicken skin and metal wire. She would drag that thing out and spray it with Lysol and start whip stitching it during our work time in class. I bet she was really popular. Art school was all about being as different as possible and above things like being popular. One boy saved all his nail clippings for a year and made a small sculpture out of them. He also clipped them in class. |
