I was just at a wedding where the bride got up to do a little speech at the reception - and mentioned that she struggled to know what gift to get her H, she called him over and started singing and sang a whole song to him in front of the room while he just stood there and watching. It was so awkward. If I had to sing I would definitely be Cameron in my Best Friends Wedding.  She was... ok? Certainly not someone I wanted to hear sing, but not quite Cameron level. It was still the absolute worst. I still cringe thinking about it. |

what shitty years did she have? I have not known her to be in a struggle? The only thing I can think of is the Manchester tragedy and Mack Miller. I thought it would be clear that I was asking about BESIDES Mack Miller like duh people.

Just the thought of someone singing directly to me or witnessing someone singing to someone in a small gathering setting is making me physically recoil and try to hide under my desk. I can not with it. Also me. I’m relieved to be in sane company here. I described this discomfort to a bunch of MH’s aunts this summer and they looked at me like I was a sad monster and one of them told me she suspects I struggle with feeling worthy. I need therapy for a lot of things but.... that’s not it. |

I mean he rocks dark circles under his eyes like no other. Yes, I know she says health condition. I just want to color correct him.

I assume customers either “preordering” or are getting the car “shipped in” from another location, but then it never shows up. But like... the customer would then be able to demand their money back, no? I don't see how this is actually working, I guess. Like if I pay for a car and it doesn't show up, I am demanding my money back. |

I can not with it. H and I both feel this way which is why I once hired a barbershop quartet to sing to him at work on Valentine's Day. He was miserable. Still the best thing I ever did. I did this for MH too! But it was the volunteer old lady choir and they handed him a rose and everything. It was horribly embarrassing for him and I loved every minute of it. 😈 |

We had to prove we had the funds available when we ordered, but money was not handed over before. |

Sadly I’ve been to two weddings where singing happened. One was a bride to the groom at the alter. So uncomfortable. The second was my cousins husbands acapella group broke out into song during the reception. Less awkward but still cringeworthy.
