I’m here. Going to weekly acupuncture and trying to be healthy. Waiting for my period to start in the next week or 2 to being BCPs for our next round.

Beta warning I just checked my patient portal and my HCG is up to 1171! I haven't gotten the call from my nurse yet, so I'm not sure what such a rapid rise means.
Update: I posted too soon! She emailed today, and she's very happy with my numbers! I'm pregnant! Thanks for all the support over the last 2 years I've been here. I'll be stalking and keeping everything crossed for everyone!

Congrats bonzo! I have a wtf appt on Wednesday. The patiant liaison person talked with my sister about all if our concerns and how terrible of an experience we've been having. After they talked the managed to get us both of our appointments pushed up, my doctors nurse told this lady that she thought I wanted mine end of october instead of as soon as possible. Seriously lady? I'm hoping they are decent at the appt and we can finally get on the same page and figure this out.

Yay bonzo! Congrats! wineandcake, I am so sorry you're having such a tough time with your clinic - what a pain! I mean, even if your situation is new to them basic customer service still applies, I hope they get their act together quickly.

I’m still here. I’m currently PUPO with first beta on 10/9. My emotions have been all over the place. This has been the hardest wait ever, but I’m doing my best to stay distracted.

I took a pregnancy test this morning and got a BFN. Betas are tomorrow, but at this point it’s just to confirm what I already know. My period also seems to have started today even though I’m still on the progesterone. Which feels like a big punch to the gut. I’m just devastated.

I might be talking to myself here, but the blood test came back negative today. My period seems to be here in full force letting me know I’m definitely not pregnant. I’ll call my clinic in the morning since they’re closed now to see about next steps. This is all so hard. My husband and I are crushed.

champagne I am so sorry. I hate how Mother Nature is rude and can stick it to you when you’re down with AF showing- like the negative test isn’t bad enough, you need proof it didn’t work. Hugs.

We had our WTF appt last week. We also had the donor egg talk, which wasn’t unexpected at this point after the last cycle but it was difficult.
I have a hysteroscopy/polyp removal scheduled soon, and then we will transfer out untested embryo in November/December and just hope it works. I don’t want to give up, but I’m ready to be done. I’m thankful we still have something to transfer, don’t get me wrong, and I am hopeful that it works, but there are many times where it seems hopeless.

Fingers crossed the FET is goes well. I can totally relate to your feelings right now. IF is so difficult and emotional. Sending you hugs.

champagne, I am so so sorry. Many hugs. I was just where you are a few weeks ago, my period also started while I was still on progesterone - a big wtf to our bodies! I hope you're able to find some peace, and a plan moving forward.

I’m here, just lurking for a while since I needed an IF talk break. For any newbie-ish here, I’ve been following along on the bench for a while looking at a PGD cycle to prevent another late term loss, so an atypical reason for seeing an RE.
We are still waiting to cycle while some others things work out for me health-wise, so I’m hopefully it will be soon. I recently had my IUD removed and switched to BCP, with some mixed results. Due to a number of factors I’m not convinced it’s actually “working” but I have no real evidence to support that it’s not working.
Anyway. I’m hoping to dive into cycling soon!! I’ve been following along and LT-ing when I can and where I can.

Thanks charliefox. WTF to our bodies is right! I hope the FETs work this time for both of us. I’ve been trying to get a new plan with my doctor but I still haven’t heard back from her. I hope I hear something tomorrow. You started with birth control right?

So, my time away was short lived.
Trigger warning- loss mentioned ****
I made it to 6 3/7- however, our ultrasound showed my perfect little daughter with her heart beating... in my right ostia making it a cornual ectopic pregnancy. She was measuring 5 6/7- so- within normal limits just in the wrong spot. A double dose of methotrexate an hour and a half later on Tuesday, I am now devastated.

champagne, Yup, started with birth control my last BCP is tomorrow, baseline on Monday. I think some clinics want you to cycle in between a retrieval and FET but some (mine included) don't. I started BCP on what was CD5, which was a little on the later side but NBD.

I finally got ahold of my clinic today but I think they’re confused. They sent me calendar with what looks like an iui cycle not FET cycle. I go in tomorrow for baseline ultrasound so I’ll see what’s up. I’m very annoyed with them right now. Today is cycle day 3 so I’m anxious to get moving.

I'm doing BCP for like 2.5 weeks (mostly to line up with my doc's schedule), then 4mg estrace twice a day (with E2 blood work on day 10 and 16), then add 1mL PIO and on day 17, 5 days later (day 22) is transfer (of a day 5 embryo). I keep up the twice a day estrace and PIO, then add progesterone suppositories once a day after transfer.

champagne, if you're doing a baseline u/s tomorrow does that mean you get to skip birth control? If so, I'm jealous. I loathe BC.

champagne, if you're doing a baseline u/s tomorrow does that mean you get to skip birth control? If so, I'm jealous. I loathe BC. Thanks so much for sharing your protocol. I finally got more answers today at my appointment. I don’t have to do birth control. I start letrozole tonight for 5 days. Then they have me using OPKs to watch for my surge. I’ll take ovidrel to trigger ovulation and then 5 days after I’ll do the transfer. It should be around cycle day 21. I’ll also start progesterone again around the time of transfer. There will of course be monitoring in between. When I first got my calendar it looked more like an IUI cycle to me but the nurse explained it to me in person. Fingers crossed for both of us!
