So looks like baby flipped and is now breech. I’ll have an ultrasound on Thursday to confirm, and if so, will schedule a c-section. Oh man I am sorry. No matter what it will be okay, and if you need anything let me know. I am well versed in c-sections.

FYI ladies - Old Navy is having a big fall sale and they have a 20% off promo when you spend 50 - if you're not a member just fill in your email address and they will send you the code. I just bought N some more fall clothes and got a ridiculously good deal and free shipping!

Lucas is still in the -3 station and my cervix is completely closed. My next appt I’ll be 40w2d so they’ll do an ultrasound, another check, and discuss how we want to proceed.
I know a lot can change suddenly so I’m really hoping he comes by this weekend. Please, please get out of me.

Thanks, ladies. I’m actually mostly ok with it because I had some complications with my last vaginal birth that I’ve been nervous about. Plus a part of me feels relieved at having a set day. But it’s still a major surgery that comes with its own set of stuff so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit freaked out.

And my doctor kind of zipped in and out today so i didn’t get a chance to ask her this, maybe you guys will know. What happens if I go into labor before my scheduled date? I feel so #new, lol.

I asked this too! They told me to just call them right away and let them know, and then to go to L&D. It's pretty much the same as what would happen if you didn't have the scheduled c-section, they will check to make sure you are indeed in labor, and then depending on timing, would get the c section within hours with the doctor they have on call. I guess the timing part just depends on how your labor has progressed and how many other surgeries they have scheduled.

Dr. Cox, my OB has basically the same policy as ladybrienne's - they did tell me if I go into labor before my scheduled c-section, if I wanted, I could try to push the baby out. Otherwise, depending on how fast labor progresses, I would just get bumped to a higher priority for the OR. I will say, since my last c-section was a result of DS not coming out despite three hours of pushing and the vacuum; once they call a c-section while you're in labor, they can get that kid out FAST. Once my OB said it was what we should do and I said "ok," they basically immediately started rolling me to the OR, and DS was out probably within the half hour. It's totally natural to be freaked out - but just remember - whichever way your baby comes out, at least he'll be OUT at the end!

Ugh, Dr. Cox. That stinks. I hope baby re-flips! I’m in the “is he” or “isn’t he” boat, as far as breech status goes. It’s definitely not a fun position to be in.

Sorry for the breech baby news Dr. Cox. And SayitaintSnow i hope you are able to get the heater fixed. HVAC issues always seem to happen at the worst possible times.

Had a dentist appointment. She’s all, “You have some build up and blah blah.” Yeah, well, I’ve been gagging or puking when brushing my teeth for 8 months. I did what I could! lol

I dnw her to come 10/25, 10/27, 10/28, 11/4, or 11/6...Hopefully she’ll stick to her 11/7 scheduled date... FX she comes when you want her to. Are those other people’s birthdays? Yes lol I know I really have no control over it but I don’t want her to have to share her day😂

Caleb is still in the NICU, he’s doing ok, but still having fast breathing. I got discharged this afternoon, going back in a bit to bring my pumped milk and see him again before I go to bed.

I am apparently getting a cold, ugh. H has it and so do the boys so it was bound to happen to me but I am feeling really gross.y usual cold remedy is a ton of herbal tea with honey and ginger but the herbal tea (especially in the amounts I drink it) are not ok while pregnant. So, I am making a big pot of garlicy chicken noodle soup with the bone broth I made earlier in my IP in hopes that helps.

That sounds yummy @sacaztic10. My DD was kind enough to share her cold with me too and I have been miserable since Saturday. I’m sorry your sweet boy is still in the nicu Dramaphile. Sending you my good thoughts that he gets out soon.

I’m very grumpy tonight. I’m so uncomfortable. He found some kind of position today that is killing my right side. I made dinner and don’t want it. My kid needs a bath, but I just don’t wanna. I think a mental health day is in order.
