I’m definitely the latter, down to the expression. I feel an overwhelming sense of panic at all of the stuff we still need to do! So much to clean and organize. We did definitively decide on a first name, Dylan. So ladybrienne and I are name twins. And I took your advice, Diordra, and ordered a personalized outfit so there’s no going back! 😂

My Babywearing group did a photo fundraiser yesterday and I took some babywearing/belly-wrapping photos with DD. She doesn't want to go up much (and I can't stand to wear her for more than 10-15 min), but she asks occasionally when she sees me wrapping my belly for support. Figured it might be my one chance to get some maternity photos done, since last time I waited till I was overdue and had a friend take a few shots in her backyard. DD was actually really cooperative and I'm hoping we got at least one cute shot or two of us together out of the short session.

You guys...I'm only 33 weeks and I am so done! I don't know if it's because she's bigger than my boys were or what but I feel so so so uncomfortable like I did at 38 weeks + with my boys. Except I only had 2 weeks left at that point, not 7! 😂😐

With DD I made it pretty close to my due date before I was feeling done, and as much as I'd like him to cook a little bit longer and get to full term, it would be such a relief to not be pregnant anymore.

eleephant same. At 35+3, this kiddo is apparently nearly as big as my DS’s 39+3 birth weight 😬😬

I haven’t taken a single belly photo this pregnancy. I feel like I should at least take a couple of iPhone shots at some point to be fair to this kid, since I did a full maternity session with a photographer friend when I was pregnant with DS.

Oh Dramaphile and charlotte solidarity! I keep trying to think of positives but they all involve the baby being OUT! Haha.

I'm also solidly in the camp of being happy that October means this baby is coming out next month! I know I shouldn't complain, because in general it's been a healthy and relatively easy pregnancy, but I just feel like this one has dragged on forever, and I've been pregnant for about 8,200 years at this point. I've got eight weeks to go, so baby needs to cook a bit longer, but I will be waltzing into the hospital for my c-section to get him out and be done!
Though I am also very much panicking at the thought of everything that needs to happen between now and then, and that in only eight weeks our little family is going to change so drastically! I feel like we've really been in a nice rhythm with the three of us lately, and that's all about to get knocked upside down!

I am only 30ish weeks and have felt done for a few weeks too. This pregnancy has just been no cake walk. I would like him to stay in there for a while longer so I can get my shit together or pretend to at least first though.
I’ve decided October is going to be a better month for us so I’m starting out with a Harry Potter marathon today. Now I just need the weather to get out of the 90s so it feels more like fall.

I feel like I should at least take a couple of iPhone shots at some point to be fair to this kid, since I did a full maternity session with a photographer friend when I was pregnant with DS. I never did maternity photos with DS, but I did the chalkboard bump progression every two weeks with him. This kid has two iPhone shots, both are with DS, and one of them DS' leg is kind of draped over my belly so you can't see it that well, anyway. Second kid syndrome is starting strong here, apparently.

I did bump photos every week with DS2 and almost every week with DS1. I think I have 2 bump photos of this guy. I feel like a slacker but I am so busy doing other things!
I am with everyone on being done. I want this LO to cook at least until my mom gets here the first week of November but I am tired and I hurt every day! I also have stuff I need to get done and a few things left to buy.
LO is supposed to be an estimated 4.5 lbs now according to my app. I LOLed because he is measuring at 5.5 lbs according to the ultrasound last week. I feel sooooo huge!

My sister just called to ask if I would watch my niece who has a fever and can't go to school. 🤨
Did I mention I'm scared of the flu this year and we don't get our shots for a few weeks? 😫

I wouldn’t even feel an ounce of guilt at saying no. I’m also terrified of the flu, so I’m possibly OTT.

That's the odd part. We are very close and she knows I am not breezy about spreading germs. Even when I'm not pregnant. So yeah, it definitely put me in an awkward position. I have a hard time saying no but I wasn't about to say yes.

I’m done and I’ll *only* be 30 weeks on Wednesday! This dude just makes everything hurt. Nighttime sucks so hard. I can’t wait to sleep on my belly again.

I had the flu this year before I got pregnant (and was immunized) and thought I was dying. It sucks if she’s in a bind, but that’s not something I would be willing to risk.

I can’t believe October is already here! I have [max] 37 days left!😱
Booked some family/maternity pictures for this Sunday. We weren’t going to do any but someone had a last minute opening and I took it as a sign to do them. Not sure what I am gonna wear though so now that fun begins. I hate that basically no one has maternity clothes in store.

Got a good look at LO’s profile today at our BPP and I think he is going to be another clone of my H. DS1 is basically a clone of H while DS2 leans more towards looking like me and my family.
Hopefully this guy gets something from me.

I'll be 31weeks on Wednesday and am nearly in tears every night because I can not get comfortable, have to pee every 5 minutes even though I stop drinking anything by 7pm and then am just randomly awake. I am being a flu shot pusher. We always get them, but I sent my H, DD1, MIL and FIL today to get them and have told all my friends they are not welcome to visit us after C is born if they don't get one.

Diordra I’m your tears buddy! I was at my wits end last night. I cried. I’m taking Benadryl tonight in hopes it’ll knock me out and I can get a good night’s sleep. I’ve also contemplated the awful couch bed just so I can stretch out. I don’t think sleeping on one side of a queen sized bed with H on one side and two cats at my feet, while trying to wrangle my belly and a Snoogle, are helping matters.

Add me to the uncomfortable club. I toss and turn all night, even the half unisom isn’t helping much anymore. Going to try going to sleep on my own tonight and taking the unisom at my first wake up/pee time. Baby girl hangs out so low and make me pee All.Night.Long.
I am in full nesting mode and feel like we are mostly ready. Planning to move the almost 3 year old into his new room/bed tomorrow. I am super emotional about it and also terrified. I am hoping I don’t lose my good sleeper/napper.
Hey all!! I’ve been lurking but not posting for awhile. Hoping to get back into following everyone again!!

Hey hey!
Jumping back in after an embarrassingly lengthy break! Work has been kicking my butt lately, but I am officially done traveling until next February.
We were taking a walk tonight and my H told me he doesn’t think I’ll make it to 40weeks. I predicted November 2nd and then realized that’s a month from tomorrow. One month!
We still have no name. 🙈

We redid my almost 3yo DD's room a few weeks ago and she's actually been sleeping even better and is finally on a decent nap/quiet time routine. We kept her in the same room, but switched out all the furniture and got her a low twin loft bed (she was in the converted crib toddler bed). Fingers crossed your transition is as easy as ours was

We still have so much work to do in the nursery. I have been overwhelmed and stressed about it but I am starting to chill - we just moved and while we are pretty much settled, so much went into it and I've had to focus on my 3 YO, which is the way it should be. I am going to focus my energy on making sure my room is ready, since he will be in with us anyway for a few months. It will be done when it's done.

The nursery is currently a bunch of piles of baby stuff and a crib that's still disassembled. I should at least get my bedroom ready so we can have a space for the bassinet. We've been sorting clothes, so at least the baby won't be naked. Hopefully we can get things sorted this week/weekend. I'm not sure if we'll even have time to paint in there, which I'd really like to do.

One bonus of all the sorting baby clothes we are doing, I found a box of maternity clothes I didn't realize my friend gave back to me a while back, so I have a few more dresses and tops I can wear! And my sister sent me a box of maternity and nursing clothes that she bought that don't fit her, and also a bunch of leftover Depends for postpartum.
