I’m for sure sick. I have an important meeting this afternoon and I’m trying to see if I can make it. It doesn’t look like I will since as soon as the Motrin wears off my fever and aches come back. LO will be going to school today and E will be going to DC. C has the day off so if I stay home he better take care of me.

Monday again, I’ve been rained on no less than 4 times today and I’m over it. I’m finding it harder to stick to the diet now that it’s getting colder and we spend more time indoors. Cooking and baking was usually something I would do, but that also usually involves butter, cream, wine and sugar...

Morning! Sorry you are under the weather chrisy01. Both kids have preschool this morning and I have a MOPS meeting. Our new entry hall rug is coming so I need to run and get a new rug pad at some point, the old one was shot. DH had to take a month or so off from flying b/n work commitments and all the hurricane stuff, but he starts back up today. Longer days for me, so maybe we will do the park this afternoon to help pass the time.

My data has not been working consistently and I couldn't get on here at all until now! I miss you all! I have my spa day today. 3 hours of a massage, coconut scrub and a facial. I can.not.wait. We're having a great time but jack and I are both home sick. Pretty sure matthew never wants to leave lol. A and it went kayaking 2 days ago and it was so fun! Going snorkeling on wednesday. A doesn't like to so hes staying with the boys.

chrisy01 Take the day to yourself and get to feeling better. No meeting is so important that you put everyone else in the same room with your illness, causing them to get it as well. Just another Monday here. This weekend was hard. Evie still doesn't understand. I'm glad to be back at work so I can concentrate on other things. In the ongoing saga of the weird neighbor girl...she showed up last night, about 20 minutes before dinner time, so maybe 5:30/5:40. Evie said she wanted to play with her, so she came in and they went to Evie's playroom. I told Evie that M had to leave when it was dinner time. It didn't even take a minute for Evie to come out and tell me M had already had dinner and wanted a snack. I said No, we hadn't had dinner and Evie couldn't have a snack. She said she wouldn't eat a snack, it was just for M. I said NO Snacks. I told H, M would leave soon. Probably a minute later, Evie came out and said M was going to go home for a snack. H watched her walk across the street to another neighbors house. It's like she's just coming around to eat our food. She's not starving, I would say she's very average for her age, maybe a little shorter, but it's hard for me to gauge since Evie is big for her age.

mwhip , your house has the good snacks! We really don't! Most of the time, when E wants a snack, I tell her to eat something healthy first, applesauce, cheese, fruit, once she eats that, if she's still hungry, then she can have something sweet. I don't know, maybe her parents don't allow snacks? Or she's a crappy eater and grazes most of the day (no judgement, E does the same many days). H and I told E that if she ever goes to a friends house, she can't immediately ask for a snack. M did ask if E could come to her house to play first and I said no, since it was so close to dinner, plus she was a mess from being tired. So maybe I should have let her go to her house. But I still haven't met the parents, so until that happens, E isn't playing there.

Guess who is sick again? FML. I really hope the blood work results are in before our ENT appt.
I got a migraine after the kids got up. I'm still nauseous but I'm trying to power through at work.

Morning. I am unexpectedly home. N puked over night and threw up a few times this morning. So much so that I made MH turn around to take j to school bc I didn't want to put her in the car to drive him in. Now she seems okay, guess we will see if she can keep these Cheerios down.
We put our rental notice in last night and my SM has more furniture than we can take for us, so I'm not as stressed about an unfurnished house. She is coming over next weekend to see it in person and pick out stuff that will actually work...I have a feeling the piano will not fit though 😣.

So sorry for all the sickies! Josie is at preschool this morning, and Charlie and I are hanging here while I scrub my kitchen cabinets. Anyone listening to Escaping NXIVM? Dying to talk about it!

Morning! We made it home alive and I have all my children. It was a fun weekend, and the kids traveled well. The wedding dinner was a 10 course traditional Vietnamese meal, but I (sadly) only made it through 4 courses before having to bring Theo & Bea home for the night. I was sick and just did not have the energy to wrangle what was soon to be an over-tired baby and toddler. I was sad to miss dancing with my kids though, apparently they tore it up on the dance floor.
Today I am going to commence the million loads of laundry and try to get back into some semblance of a routine. After coffee.

Morning!
Sorry for all the illness!! We've also been struggling. DH is now sick so I let the boys sleep in a bit and worked from home for awhile this morning. Colin woke up without a fever and wanted to give school and soccer a try, and Chase seemed completely normal, so I got them to daycare before the school bus arrived. I considered working the rest of the day from home but decided I'd be more productive at work and THANK GOODNESS! I had forgotten that they were ordering in breakfast and it was amazing.
Anyhow so I should have known DH was on the downhill because his snoring woke me up last night. I would have slept on the couch but I wanted to be close by in case Colin had another bad night. But at least in its incomplete form, I CANNOT open the Murphy bed. Fortunately DH woke up to use the bathroom and found me curled up on the floor in the guestroom, so he opened the bed up for me. I left it down since I may be in there for a few nights. YAY.
Now I'm just hoping I can say awake with a full belly and that Colin continues feeling better today. Oh yeah, and also that somehow against all odds, that Chase and I stay healthy!

Sorry for all the sick kids (and moms!) Were actually having rainy and fall like weather this week and I love it. And I’m secretly hoping soccer practices get cancelled to get a bit of a break!
Not much on the agenda here. Gym and Trader Joe’s and the library. I got two paint samples so I can finally paint an accent wall in C’s room so I need to throw those up and make a decision.

Morning. Add me to the club. I had a very sharp pain in my stomach Saturday night that is still lingering. Dr google is telling me it’s gallbladder related so i have an appointment this afternoon to get it checked out. Hopefully it’s easily treatable.

Morning all.
My weekend was good, it was a good mix of relaxing, home stuff, getting out with the kids and getting ready for the week. Went for a big grocery run Friday night and spend all my money, every month I'm amazed how much we spend on food. Deep cleaned my house yesterday and it feels so good, we also finished up the yard stuff for the season, it's all packed away until next year ::sad trombone::

Oh my goodness, so many sick moms and kids :/ Hope everyone is feeling better asap! MOPS was good, I'm sure it varies but I think this is a very nice group. I asked another mom from B's class about 'outside' birthday parties and they *are* a thing, so I guess we will start thinking about that. Cannot believe today is October 1, I feel like we lost a week in September from the hurricane and I've been playing catch-up ever since! C will be two in just over a month Speaking of, when I put her to bed last night, I said, "I love you" from the doorway. Clear as day, she replied, "I love you, too" in the sweetest little voice. I about melted into a puddle.
