I am on my game this year and just pre-ordered Christmas pjs for the kids, and my sister got a matching pair for my new nephew. I am ridiculously excited about matching cousin jammies on Christmas morning.
This feels like an accomplishment so I’m counting it as one. Now I should probably do something that does not entail spending money.

Oh my goodness, so many sick moms and kids :/ Hope everyone is feeling better asap! MOPS was good, I'm sure it varies but I think this is a very nice group. I asked another mom from B's class about 'outside' birthday parties and they *are* a thing, so I guess we will start thinking about that. Cannot believe today is October 1, I feel like we lost a week in September from the hurricane and I've been playing catch-up ever since! C will be two in just over a month  Speaking of, when I put her to bed last night, I said, "I love you" from the doorway. Clear as day, she replied, "I love you, too" in the sweetest little voice. I about melted into a puddle. That is so cute! Z is so much more affectionate than O ever was. She hugs me and says things like “i love my mommy so much. You’re my sweetheart and my sweetie pie.” Melt my heart. |

Hey. H had school this morning and I worked on laundry and cleaning up from the weekend while S played. I need to run a couple return packages to the ups store so we may do that this afternoon. The girls have pictures on Thursday so I need to figure out what H is wearing, I already have S’s outfit ready.

My sister and I have joked about it but I think our husbands would draw the line, unless they were so seriously over-the-top as to be obviously a joke. I could see the guys getting into that. eta: my mom's best friend from college sends a New Year's card every year, and somehow manages to get her husband, all three kids and their spouses (and now grandchildren), all dressed in either matching holiday jammies OR epic themed costumes (one year was Wizard of Oz, last year they did The Sound of Music). It is such a hoot...I look forward to seeing their card every year. |

I just made homemade chicken noodle soup in the instant pot to bring my self back to life and it is divine. Will post recipe in the soup thread...it was the fastest chicken soup I've ever made!

The pedi called me back. She doesn't have all of the lab results back yet but his immunoglobulin is low so she's referring us to an immunologist. Of course I call to make the appointment and they said they'll contact me within 5 days to schedule it.  |

Ugh tgrimes the waiting for appts to be scheduled is so frustrating. With that said, they told us we’d hear from a scheduler within a week to ten days for B’s surgery, and she called me that same day. Fingers crossed you’ll hear soon and y’all can get him in quickly. |

I just searched too and leukemia was for high levels so just take that out of your head. If his kidneys were failing that would show in other bloodwork as well. Some less sinister things that came up were Celiac and IBS. So it’s a huge range. I know it’s hard but try to stay calm. |

At the carrousel yesterday I bashed my shoulder on a horses mane. My whole upper back and both shoulders hurt today. Who gets injured by a damn fake horse!!

Sorry for all the sick moms and kiddos! I started keeping one of the large hand sanitizers with the pumps in my car. Everyone uses it every time we get in the car from being in a store or after school pickup. I seriously think it has helped us immensely with staying healthy in the past 1.5 years. I recommend it! guster What is the Escaping thing? A podcast? I’m so sorry tgrimes! Step away from the Google! I hope they figure this out once and for all... you and H need a break. |

tgrimes back away from google. I webmd’ed my symptoms last night And the first thing listed was brain hemorrhage and the next few were also far fetched. The flu wasn’t listed at all. All Dr Google has for you is fear.
