Week/Fruit: 7w0d- Blueberry/May 20
STM
Appointments: Next week! Oct 11.
Milestones: None yet unless you count that I officially feel like garbage, LoL.
Symptoms: The nausea really ramped up this last week. It’s more all day now and really bad in the AM. Yesterday I felt hung over: on the verge of gagging, headachy, lightheaded and just wanted to lay on the couch. Being pregnant this time around with a toddler/preschooler blows.
Rants/Vents: My H hates his current job but is stuck in it until this baby comes because of his current contract. But because he’s miserable and overworked- I am miserable and have little help. 😑🤨
Raves: I am going in to work late today so I’ll get my work out done before work rather than coming home and doing it with my kid hanging on me!
GTKY: I went to Trader Joe’s this weekend and loaded up on some of my favorite freezer meals because I get nauseated even standing in my kitchen. My favorite one is Gorgonzola gnocchi. Throw it in a pan and heat. So yummy.

Week/fruit: 8 weeks 2 days. A strawberry
STM
Appointments: Today! Hopefully my last one with the RE. It will be so nice not to have to drive 2 hours each way for my appointments.
Milestones: graduating from the RE
Symptoms: constant nausea and headaches. Just generally feel like crap for most of the day
Rants/vents: Survived a weekend with my inlaws! For some reason DH wants to wait a while longer to tell them about being pregnant so I had to suffer the entire time in silence lol
Raves: Excited to see the baby again today
GTKY: ugh we have been eating so bad. The part I feel the worse about is I worked so hard preparing fresh healthy foods for my DD and now for the past month we've mostly ate frozen processed foods. Hopefully once I get through the first trimester I can get her back to eating better.

elephantastic, Ugh that's a tough situation with your H. I'm sure it's hard for both of you. I wish we had a Trader Joe's near us. That sounds delicious!

Week/Fruit/EDD: 8w +3d/wild strawberry/ 5/10
FTM/STM/TTM, etc: TTM
Appointments: 10/12
Symptoms: non stop nausea, tired all the time
Milestones: I am weirdly excited that baby has hands and feet now!
Rants/Venting: I feel really, really guilty and awful that I am not more excited. I already love this baby, and would be devastated if anything happened, but I am feeling like there is no way I can handle 3 kids, no way I can give 3 kids the best of me, and take them traveling, and afford the best, and give them enough time. I already feel overwhelmed with 2, and working full time.
Raves: I leave for a work trip tomorrow, and I am taking DD with me. The place I am going is an hour or 2 from my parents, so I will drop dd off with them, then take a few extra days to spend all together. DD is SO excited.
GTKY: What your favorite quick dinner lately? Carbs, anything with carbs.

elephantastic, I hear you on getting nauseous just walking into the kitchen, I threw up this morning from just walking into the kitchen. My stomach is just a mess. sunny75, I hope to eat better after first tri, right now I am eating so badly, but I go for whatever I can handle at the moment, and that does not leave many options.

courtniko, how old are your older two? I have two friends who have 3 four and under and they seemed to have their hands full with just two so I wondered how they would do with three. But both of their third babies seem to be the most chill easy babies ever and seemed like they fit right into their lifestyle easily. So I'll be hoping the same for you!

Ultrasound went well so I'm officially released from the RE! It's so crazy how two weeks ago the baby was just a white blur on the ultrasound and now it was easily recognizable as a baby. Oh and MH got to see the baby for the first time so that was good.

My daughter is 4, and will be 4 for a few months after this little one comes. My son turns three 10 days before this ones due date. Neither of mine has ever had any sort of chill about them, so a chill third would be absolutely amazing. I will just keep my fingers crossed for even some chill. And some ability so sleep not attached to me. And glad your appointment went well! It is crazy how much they change, so quickly right now!

elephantastic I’m so sorry for the current situation with your H’s job. I hope he can find some way to make it tolerable for the next few months. OMG, I love the gorgonzola gnocchi from TJ’s!! I buy it for my kids, but they never eat it so I end up eating it all! sunny75 CONGRATS on graduating from the RE!!!!!!!!!!!! So sweet you and your H got to see you’re your LO together for the first time. courtniko I TOTALLY know what you mean about being scared to death of having 3 kids. I am barely scraping by with 2! My house is always a mess and I’m so tired allll the time. I just tell myself that I had the same fears when going from 1 to 2 kids and we made it work. This will work too.

Appointments: 2nd beta this morning
Symptoms: I'm tired every afternoon, my boobs are heavy and sore, and my acne has been ridiculous

Rants/Venting: nothing today, I'm just excited to be here finally!
Raves: I'm here! (I know, I'm a broken record. But I'm here!)
GTKY: What your favorite quick dinner lately? I've been doing a lot of slow cooker meal prep lately. I love slow cooker chili on cold fall days!

wildhoney Thx. We recently moved an hour away from our old neighborhood and he changed jobs within his company under the understanding it would probably just be for 1 year and then he would transfer to a job closer to home. It was a pay raise and something new on his resume but he is miserable and counting the days. TJs is life thank goodness for them.

I’m hoping for a break on the next one. I think it’s normal to freak out going from 2 to 3 and I’m sure it won’t be easy but you’ll find your groove and they do eventually turn into independent humans 😇😂 Also early pregnancy comes with all the emoshuns. Feel whatever you need to feel it’s ok and if you can’t vent in real life you can vent to us no judgement.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 6w/1d - 5/26
FTM/STM/TTM, etc: STM
Appointments: Oct 15
Symptoms: My brain is an absolute mess. Seriously, scrambled eggs up here. I can't stop crying, all the time, everything is gloom and doom. On top of that, zits. My face, neck, and back is completely broken out in painful welts. Then there's the constantly hungry, eating until I feel sick thing. Tired all the time. Worst of all is my Sacroilliitis is starting to flare up, I haven't had any issues with it for a good year, which was a giant relief. But I can already feel my hips getting loose, and little movements are causing pain.
Milestones:
Rants/Venting: Lets see. Our wheat didn't come up. Bad seed, so now it's two weeks behind, and we had to take time we did not have to re-drill it. Now we have hundreds of acres of feed that needs swathed, raked, and baled, and the weather has absolutely turned. Rain, cold, freezes, everything that will kill our still standing feed, and ruin the stuff on the ground. My pickup has been broken down, sitting in the yard for five months, and now DH's work pickup has dropped its transmission.
Raves: Sorry for all the rants.
GTKY: What your favorite quick dinner lately?: Pizza.

bonzo I read your intro welcome and congrats! That extra line on the pregnancy test really is amazing (when you’re looking for it 😜) ❤️ I never actually got to do a home test. My RE uses HCG “boosters” to help the body realize what it’s supposed to do in an FET, so I couldn’t test out a trigger the way most women do. Only blood tests for me.

Nausea kicked in today. I’ve been slightly queasy off and on all day. When I can nibble saltines I’m ok, but it got a little hard while teaching today.

It’s the weirdest nausea ever. Lump in the throat, saliva, and that feeling in your jaw. I wish I could have crackers- my doctor still won’t let me have gluten or dairy.

I know they’re probably not the same, but have you tried gluten free crackers? Do you know when you’ll get to have gluten and dairy again? Hopefully I’m remembering right that this was for the FET, not due to an intolerance.

They aren't the same As for the timeline- I'm not sure. I was hoping after my 8 week ultrasound, but my RE is hesitant because of the endo/inflammation on the bowel. From her research, I guess the chronic inflammation and implants on the bowel can release toxins that could cause miscarriage. She is now hesitant until about 20 weeks once the placenta has taken over and has totally shut down the endo. This is all just soft evidence though- she just threw the kitchen sink at me... I had nothing to lose at that point.

I had 100% given up caffeine to help my uterine lining, and it worked. But I’d like to be able to have chocolate again! At my ultrasound I’m going to ask if they have any recommendations. I’m guessing maybe stay away until end of 1st tri? Not sure.

That's about the equivalent to a 12 oz Starbucks coffee drink. I personally gave up caffeine almost 100% (I have a diet coke here and there and once in a while I'll indulge in an afternoon caffeinated coffee).

skidevil87, I have my 7 week ultrasound on 10/18. I’m excited for it! The caffeine thing was because of my Doppler back in December. Since I had some restricted blood flow, I tried everything I could to get my numbers better through diet and supplements. Zero caffeine, baby aspirin, increased my Vit D and E, acupuncture. And it worked! I know they want to keep me on the baby aspirin at least through 1st tri, which is why I wonder if I should keep up the zero caffeine thing that long too. I’ll definitely keep it up until I’m able to talk to someone about what I should do going forward. We’ll see what they say in 2 weeks!

so, I thought my nausea had kicked in about a week and a half ago- figured, this isn't bad- nothing I can't get through... that is until yesterday. Then the REAL nausea kicked in.
