Put the boob away. Biting is a deal breaker for nursing. She's doing it once she's done, so that's part of the problem. I yell out, she laughs and starts trying to crawl away. But she's not giving me an indication she's done before she does it. It's not every feed or anything, but she's been doing it 1-2 times a week for a couple weeks now. This one drew the most blood, though. The tooth that's bothering her is almost through so I'm really hoping she'll stop after it appears. She's gaming the system! But I really hope she stops soon.

My kid bit my nipple while nursing. AGAIN. I'm bleeding profusely. I'm so over this. If she doesn't stop after this tooth comes in I'm not sure how I'm going to make it another 4 months. It's the worst. Keep your index finger close to your nipple and as soon as you sense her start to bite, stick your finger in her mouth hard to prevent it, say "no bite" firm and loud and put her on the floor and walk away. All my kids bit and someone gave me this advice and it worked after a few times. Screaming and making a scene can be hard to hold back but i think they get a kick out of causing that kind of reaction. Im sure she will stop soon, good luck!!!

The power went out in my building yesterday, so I took myself out to lunch, which I don't do too often. Then I got a fraud alert from my credit card company for it. Don't judge my Chipotle, bank! You got a fraud alert for Chipotle? Yes.

One of my online moms once suggested I bark at her kind of like when mom dogs do it to their pups. Surprisingly, it worked. It startled her enough that she never did it again. Good luck. Hopefully she’s able to stop soon and y’all can resume to regular programming.

My older two were biters. You have all my sympathy! Check out Kelly mom’s advice on how to stop it. I ended up pumping some instead of nursing because it was awful

I found a lump on the back on my neck/shoulder that hurts kind of like a giant pimple. I need to find myself a PCP, I guess. A boil?

My friend is closing her ice cream stand for the season and needs help eating the remaining stock. She invited my boys to go help her. Don’t mind if we do!

You got a fraud alert for Chipotle? Yes. Why? Surely there is more context here? Did you buy $1000 worth of Chipotle?

Why? Surely there is more context here? Did you buy $1000 worth of Chipotle? Nope, it was about $10, right across the street from my office, so in an area that I shop in all the time. Maybe this Chipotle has a history of fraudulent charges? I can't say why.

I found a lump on the back on my neck/shoulder that hurts kind of like a giant pimple. I need to find myself a PCP, I guess. A boil? Is it a lymph node? I thought I had cancer once because I had a lump on the back of my neck/shoulder area and my doctor informed me it was just a swollen lymph node.

I mean, I've seen a lot of Grey's Anatomy but I don't think I can make a definitive answer. But a doc will be able to tell you if it is a swollen lymph node or a boil if you are worried.

My sister is in labor. It’s my grandma’s birthday and she had planned to name her baby after her so it’s really special. Baby is a day late but has perfect timing (provided she actually arrives today)! We lost my grandfather earlier this year and my DS shared his birthday so this seems so bittersweet.
If she delivers soon I will head up there with dinner for her and my BIL. She’s been live blogging her labor to me all day. She said I could come up anytime but I figure I’ll wait until baby is here.

piratecat , if it is a boil black salve or ichthammol ointment will draw it out. It's over the counter. They can be very painful. The hot compress does help it to feel better.
