Happy Thanksgiving!
I cried once this morning because I made special pumpkin pancakes, but then DD didn't want them and H was sleeping in a bit. I was sad to eat a special holiday treat by myself.
Then I cried for about 4 holiday commercials during the Macy's TG day parade.

Ha this reminds me of when I made an egg and cheese sandwich for my kids last weekend so they wouldnt share mine and they didnt even eat a bite. I was way more disappointed than I should have been.

DD did a Thanksgiving craft at school yesterday where her teacher asked her what she was thankful for, and wrote down her answer. The first thing was “my baby brother.” Cue tears.

So sweet @ges072115! A few weeks ago, I was in Hobby Lobby, and I read this sign... I started crying...a lot.

That is super sweet. My DD did that in her class, and while most of her classmates listed parents or siblings, my child answered “a lot of cars.” I asked her about it that evening and she stuck with it saying she just likes a lot of cars and trucks. K.

I just had my first good cry on the fears of adding a child. DD is 3.5 and demands a sister. I have a feeling it’s a boy and I just picture her coming up to the hospital to meet the baby and wanting nothing to do with the baby or I. Then sobbed harder cuz I was hungry.

Both because it’s our son’s name and also because the dog is PERFECT. Lol. But really. It was precious. I cried today because of the new Christmas Ace Hardware commercial (little boy gets his dad a yeti mug). I need to turn the commercials off.

My 4 y.o is being especially challenging. Yesterday we had to skip Christmas pictures at a photo studio (just JC Penney, but still) because her dress had 3/4 length sleeves. We've done it every year but I just couldn't handle her tantrum about it so I def cried.
I have no idea how things are going to work with 2 more little ones if we can't even handle these outbursts over clothes/nothing. Maybe she can sense the change coming? She also had issues this morning with her undies, pants, and coat. 4 year olds, man.

Eames my 4 year old can be challenging with clothes too. socks are the bain of my morning experience with her. As for why i was last crying. Friday I needed to take my 4 yr old to the doctor. I suspected she had a uti and I had to leave work early to get her there. I cried because it so damn frustrating to use all my leave that I am trying to save for maternity leave on doctor visits and it makes me feel like a bad mom for worrying about the logistics of the appointment/leave used over just taking them when they need to be taken.

Just got word I flunked the 1 hr Glucose Tolerance test. If you need me I’ll be deleting all my Pinterest holiday food boards through tears.
I’m also pretty upset they only got back to me with the results a whole week later, I know the turn around time is fast on that test. I had settled into false confidence that no news was good news and ate lots of cookies and rice crispy treats this week as well as meal planned/grocery shopped accordingly.

I’m sorry Tlex, I’m really nervous about my test. I know what you mean, there just isn’t anything you can do to control the outcome though. 👎🏻 either the placenta is doing its job or it isn’t!

I cried watching my 3 year old at her ballet recital dress rehearsal. She was such a ham, it brought me much joy.

This morning I saw a train coming in the distance so started waddling as fast as I could to get there. Otherwise it's another 5-7 minute wait, and I'm already running late these days... I used to make it easily to the stop (before pregnancy) if I saw it coming and picked up my pace. Today all these people started jogging past me... and I hate feeling infirm!
Once I got onto the platform, the train started pulling away. But then the driver actually saw me, stopped, and let me waddle on AND there was a seat. I was so happy/emotional about his kindness that I cried and also tweeted thank you @ public transit (first tweet ever).
Embarrassing...

Oh this reminds me of 2 things recently that made me cry. The preview for Dumbo and the Dumplin’ movie.
I have an ice cold heart and never cry, so the liquid in my eyeballs was surprising.
