Waiting outside the pediatrician office with a napping baby. B was up screaming in the middle of the night and had a fever that is now gone, so I’m getting his ears checked just in case. I feel like I can’t blame this one on teething.

Hope he's okay doxiemama! DD ended up sleeping alright in the end, but was up at 5. We're trying to get her to nap now, but she won't settle. This cold combined with the age where she wants to roll over and crawl out of the crib every time she wakes up is a bad combo.

Good morning! DH and I are on the road back home. Last night’s wedding was a great time and I got to spend a lot of it catching up with my BFF. Can’t wait to snuggle my boys all day! We are going to the ILs to watch the packer game and celebrate FIL’s birthday. Should be a nice relaxing day which is much needed!

Good morning! We had family pictures this morning so of course E was a tired, boogie mess. He wouldn’t smile and fell asleep on the 1.5 mile ride home. Now we are just getting ourselves ready for the week. Our football game isn’t until tonight.

Last night was rough. Dh was an ass and I didn’t get to sleep until about 2:30. Ds woke at 3:30 for an hr. I’m still pissed at Dh and he’s being worthless hungover for help with the kids.

Blah, hugs to all the grumps, myself included!
How come when they change your flight itineraries they are never for the better? I do not want a 4 hour layover with a baby! It was supposed to only be an hour and a half 😣 and now when we come home we get in at 6 instead of 4. Sigh.

cnf, how’s marathon training going? When is your race? Stalled. I ran 18 miles 4 weeks ago and nothing longer than 5k since then, because work and life. I did just get home from a 7 miler and averaged a 9:04 pace pretty comfortably. So I seem to be maintaining endurance which is good. My rave is October 14, so 3 weeks away!

Ds2 has a little bit of a cough now but he still seems to be feeling better than me so that's all I'm going for at this point. I'm hoping ds1 doesn't get this too. I've been laying down while ds2 is napping and my cat is not thrilled at me intruding on her day spot lol. Also ds1 locked the other cat in the coat closet earlier today for a couple hours. He said that the cat was following him and he wanted to be left alone. The cat was looking to be fed lol.

Work and life makes it so hard. I’m having a tough time managing my miles every week, and I’m only training for a half! My race is 10/14 too

Last night was rough and every time he woke up he wouldn’t latch. I gave him a bottle at 5 and then he latched at 9.
We are guessing teeth but there was a case of HFM in his daycare room last week so I was pretty nervous all night. H kept saying maybe he’s weaning. I’m not ready for that. 😭😭

AA changed our Xmas flights Monday from a 2 pm flight to 7 am (east going home to West coast, so not possible). I found an itinerary I liked better, leaving at 1, and called customer service. They changed it no problem.

And DD1 fell down the stairs. Daycare is going to start to wonder. She came in a week ago with a cut on her cheek (i scratched her as I caught her falling off the dining room table) and and a busted lip (self induced, she bit herself during a tantrum). She's bitten herself on the arm and smoked her own head on the floor. Her current injuries will be two big goose eggs and a black eye.
Also, I assume just watch her for weird behaviour. She's acting normally. I dont need to take her in? (You'd think I know this crap by now).

Daycare has seen him in action so they know what's up. I'm sure your DCP know how she is lol. And yes, I'd just be looking for weird behavior. Ice on the bump if she will cooperate.

Now Jojo won't get either of her naps at home because we'll need to be at the airport for 9:45am. Well, we'll deal I guess! Probably will go better than we expect.

No ear infection, just a virus with a low fever. Another struggle at bedtime tonight, I’m really hoping he sleeps ok. Thanks for the healthy thoughts.

Two nights in a row of ds2 waking up and waking me up. And me not being able to go back to sleep. Sigh. I'll nap while he naps tomorrow I guess!

We are home! Both kids actually did great and went to bed smoothly. I'm excited to have tomorrow off, to recuperate. 😂

Jojo just woke up and I went in there, blind as a bat because I was still watching TV and my eyes take forever to adjust, I reach down for her and oh, she's sitting 🤦 it's like the cold wakes her up and then her current stage makes her want to try new things like sit up from laying down. I really need to lower the crib, we're probably the last to do it, but she really hasn't been that mobile yet! 😬
