Don’t think I said hi yet today. The website is now blocked at work. Boo. I’ve been reading but not posting much.
About to leave work. Soccer this evening with M. Not sure what’s for dinner yet.

Also sands42 Getting kinda crazy here, but this is by a designer that is local to me that I love. I see this (sconces mounted on mirror) done a lot in small/dark bathrooms, b/c the mirror reflects the lighting and essentially doubles it.

Thanks! flamingo If you can, try to go in store. I *think* that online you can only enter one promo code, so it's either/or. Might be wrong. I got a $70 sweater, a $50 blouse, and an $80 dress for $70 total.

flamingo I like the top mirror! Both of those bathrooms are really cute. I would love to do some cute wallpaper or something but the space might be too small. And I'm leaning towards the two wall light fixtures. MH put up that towel rack by the sicn without asking me... so that's gonna go. Thank you for all you insight! You too trtlcrzy & lahdeedah

flamingo the mirror mounted scones are nice! I wonder how that is done without cracking the mirror? MH will be the one doing the electrical work.

flamingo she is usually up between 7:30 and 8. She has always gone to bed later. We have tried moving it up and it just results in fighting until 9:30, if not later.

Drinking a martini & allowing H to watch the iPad & M to watch tv while eating dinner.
Why you ask?
Because I started again this month. Seems like it’s coming every 2-3 weeks now & spotting in between.
Good times.

wedding Does he still stay up late when he doesn’t nap? We cut out the naps to get O to bed on time. Yes. He naps maybe twice a week but will stay up late playing, coloring, etc. We removed all toys but he will play with anything. He has a very active imagination. He has also been getting up around 5 am. Sigh

I'm sure you could find it on an electrician's forum or something, probably the mirror would have to be taken down and have mounting holes cut at a glass/mirror place? Do not quote me on this, though, haha.

My weekend babysitter is having a baby...like now. And my backup babysitter is busy this weekend. Soooo....who wants to come to MO to babysit this weekend? I did find the source of the crankiness she was displaying. Constipation. So we are miralaxed up and hoping for some “clearing “.

I gave Cadence melatonin for the first time last night. My goal is for her just to get back to her normal 9:30 fall asleep time, she's been dramatically pushing 11 lately and it has really been screwing with my anxiety and sleep and just everything. So she fell asleep around 9:20 without a fuss. Went into the living room and mh looks at me and says, "Do you feel guilty about it?" ....I hadn't until you said something. So then early this morning I started having basically a panic attack about what if she doesn't wake up, then it's all my fault. I went in there and she was fine. Obviously. Tonight, I too will be taking the melatonin, since I can't seem to fall asleep at night no matter how exhausted I am. I feel guilty a lot about it even though the Dr tells me not too. I worry I am messing his sleep up for life. But he can't play in his room until midnight every night and live life like a grump because he didn't sleep. So we give it. I was this kid. My mom gave me melatonin for years because I would stay up until 2 or 3am. I outgrew it around 7/8 and I sleep great aside from the 3 year old in my bed.

Took H to the ENT this morning. His ear was still draining even after a week of drops. He suctioned it out and suctioned his nose and sent the samples to the lab. I have a follow up in 2 weeks. He said if it comes back normal, then we'd discuss an immune deficiency then. Should I keep the allergy/immunoligst appt I already have or wait till I have a follow up with the ENT? It's currently scheduled for the day before the ENT appt. With all of his issues, I'd keep the appointment! Best to have all hands on deck! Definitely this. IDK how booked that specialty is for your area, but it can easily take 4-6 months here.

Since we are talking cycles, anyone felt like they had a forever cycle after getting an iud/mirena? I swear that I’ve had constant bleeding/discharge (sorry if tmi) since I got the iud in July. It’s not heavy at all, very light, but still it sucks.
Sorry if tmi.

Just got home from the first night of volleyball for the season. I had no motivation to go but it felt good to play (and good to win!) DH managed bedtime and said there was zero drama. Looks like he’s doing bedtime from now on!

Hoping things get moving, cheeksmum. tgrimes my cycle has been really short since having P. I know it's still regulating but man does it suck. Have you talked to your OB about it at all? IDK About you, but I eagerly await menopause. Although most women say that brings about a whole new set of problems...

IDK About you, but I eagerly await menopause. Although most women say that brings about a whole new set of problems... My annual was in April and at that time my cycles were only a bit shorter and I was spotting a week before I started. It was considered normal. Not normal for me though. So I’ve been keeping detailed notes since then. The past 3 months have been pretty bad so I’ll be making another appt.

Also give M melatonin a few times a week. He has always been a night owl and not a morning person like me. He is in bed for 930, wakes at 715. An hour nap at school. He gets anywhere between 11-12 hours a day. Pretty sure that’s normal and the same amount as the kids who go to sleep early and wake up early.
I would love more time to myself at night, but then I would literally only see my kids for an hour or two every weekday.
