E only slept about 25 minutes at daycare yesterday, so he passed out while eating at 5:30 last night. So, he had an early night and was up again at 3:30. I suppose it could have been worse. Both boys are definitely feeling their colds so hopefully they pass soon.
I should have gotten up at 4:30 to use my treadmill but it was much nicer to sleep those extra 30 minutes.

H's grandfather is being sent to hospice this morning. He's been sick for a couple of months but his health has been steadily declining this past week. We went to see him yesterday with the boys and he was conscious and happy to see them. Everyone got to say goodbye 😥

H's grandfather is being sent to hospice this morning. He's been sick for a couple of months but his health has been steadily declining this past week. We went to see him yesterday with the boys and he was conscious and happy to see them. Everyone got to say goodbye 😥 So sorry quinn. |

Not too much going on around here today. I'm hoping it doesnt rain, I want to walk to the store in a bit. DH and I need toothpaste.
Still have to figure out supper.
And slowly getting everything ready for the huge children's thrift sale this weekend. I think I've price everything quite low (mostly $1/item) because I dont want it to come back lol.

quinn, sorry to hear it. snuff9861, there's a big consignment sale here this weekend too! I have just been taking my stuff to the consignment store and I've made $40 so far! That bought is a sunsuit and a muddy buddy and a few other things. It's nice for the money to go to the more expensive things though. Clothes at Old Navy etc are so cheap for kids anyway. I just bought DD a mustard cardigan *trend alert* and a bunch of other things 🙄 @sarahabdben108, sorry for the early morning, it's so dark at that time. Remember the days we used to get home from a night out closer to 330? 😅

Biggest pet peeve ever ... When someone consistently doesn't show up for porch pick up! And doesn't communicate with me. Like I can see that you've seen my message. Just tell me when you can manage to drive the 5 minutes to my house. She's got until tonight then I'm giving the stuff to someone else. It's so frustrating.

Another night of crap sleep for B. My H gives me a hard time when I head up to bed at 9, but knowing I’m going to be up all night I feel like I’m just being practical.

I ended up emailing DS1’s pediatrician and she wanted an abdominal X-ray to rule out constipation, and much to my surprise, he is constipated. Apparently even though he goes daily and it looks normal, he’s not getting everything out. So now we’re starting a miralax clean out. I’m hoping it doesn’t cause him too many issues because we have a 4+ hour car ride on Friday 😬

quinn I'm so sorry. On a side not I wasn't around much this weekend, how did the benefit go? sarahandben108 sorry for the early wake up. blabbermouth I was just saying something about that to MH when we left to go out at 10pm Saturday night. Usually my friends and I were still getting ready and would head out at 11pm lol. Thanks thatgolfb we have a costume but I'll see if anything sways my decision.

Okay I'm on my break! I was at work at 4:45 this morning, so after my break I will only have an hour of work left. I need to go swing by Target to pick up my order of baby snacks and car seat bag for the airplane.
This afternoon I'm going to pack for me and the girls, since tomorrow will be busy and we leave Thursday morning. I hate having to pack last minute. Tomorrow I work early again, then straight to my hair cut/color, then pick up the girls and go home and meet the sitter, and Uber to the baseball game where H got a suite for his company team building thing. It will be a great start to my long weekend!

Hi everyone, at work, me and the kiddo are still congested but I feel a bit better. Had to tell an employee we don't need him anymore (he was a part of the one club that was closed but we were using him at the other locations). I think what upset him the most was 20 years of service and his boss didn't bother to call and talk to him and let him know what was going on. Things like this are what make me think I need to look for a new job.

Afternoon everyone. We had DS1's 4 year check up this morning and he's doing pretty well. He got shots and handled them better than I expected and then he and L got flu shots. I am almost finished with work for the day and I am ready to get home.
