flamingo , I forget, what was the trigger that caused the sleep study? Giant tonsils and all the problems that go with them...bad snoring, mouth-breathing, restless sleep, pauses in breathing, etc. ENT just wanted to make sure that B's sleep was truly being negatively affected. The nurse I spoke with today who looked at the results said he has 'moderate' apnea for the majority of the night, but in times when he is supposed to be in deep REM cycles, it bumped up to severe.

Oh, hi my people! Busy-ish day at work. I stayed up way too late last night watching TV and am paying for it. SOOOOO TIRED. I may get to leave a little early today and may finally get to go to the gym.

Keep us posted xolastunicornxo ! Just talked to the nurse again; ENT reviewed everything and wants to proceed with tonsil and adenoid removal. We should hear from the scheduler this week. I'm hoping we can get it done this fall before cold and flu season (and selfishly, since we have already reached our max OOP on our insurance, lol). I hate to put him through this but I think long-term it will be for the best.

Hi! Just checking in from my deathbed (I *might* be being a little dramatic...but I feel miserable). S shared her illness with me. I really should stop kissing on her when she’s sick.
When I picked her up from school today she had a not in her backpack that there was a case of head lice in her class. So now I’m on lice patrol.

Fx for no lice, lfig! And feel better!! I know it stinks for him to have to have surgery, but I’m sure he’ll feel so much better once the recovery is complete, flamingo.

But in the long run it’s for the best. She bounced back from brain surgery way better than the tonsillectomy and adenoid removal. But they say that kids with special needs tend to have a tougher recovery. So hopefully B will be easier!

Yes, I've heard the recovery can be awful. My friend's little boy had a bad reaction to one of the pain meds and was vomiting. Not delightful. Her biggest piece of advice was to make stay on top of the pain so you're not playing 'catch up' when they're hurting. She said he's a different kid now, though...no snoring or mouth breathing, he speaks at a more normal volume (we don't have this problem, thankfully) and gets sick less often.

Ok, toddler clothing aficianados... Is this dress too 'light' of a denim for fall/early winter? I'm thinking over these cheetah print leggings I like that this one is a touch darker, and I think the tie at the waist would complement the leggings, but not sure how I feel about the ruffle. Thoughts?

flamingo, I'm very much a cheetah in small quantities, so the leggings are nmsu, but I think either would work. I prefer the color of the second and like the ruffle.
