We're down to just playground camp this week for the most part. Thank goodness. On Thursday though, he starts a once a week camp at the developmental center that's speech/OT focused in the afternoons for 6 weeks but he's gonna miss one for STEM camp next month. He did this camp last year & loved it. It's the last year he can do it because it's 3-5yo. I remember seeing a kid in his group that looked huge last year & the coordinator who I sometimes chat with had mentioned it was his last year. So weird that we're in that predicament this year. So since he got in, we figured to take advantage of it since it's the last year he can do it + it's the last year at their facility. Who knows if the camps they do will even continue after the merge. Anywho I purposely signed him up for the afternoon session so he can join his group at playground camp for bowling. They go in the mornings. So I'm sure he'll be more compliant & besides he likes the center so it probably won't be a big deal that I'm coming to pick him up after lunch/recess at the first camp.

We had an insanely busy weekend. But it was nice. Tons of errands on Saturday and then we went to visit a friend at their camp for dinner. And Sunday we crammed in Father's Day celebrations with my dad yesterday morning/early afternoon and DH's dad yesterday late afternoon/evening. It worked out perfectly.
We bought a new router over the weekend since our old was was almost 10 years old and seemed to be on the fritz the last few weeks. So far so good, but the problems were intermittent so I am not ready to say everything is fixed yet.

haha thanks! DS has a lot of energy & since we have so many resources in our small town (minus the therapy place), might as well take advantage of it. We see plenty of familiar faces in each one so looks like I'm not the only camp queen in this town. LOL it's just too easy

70's is perfect weather NamasteBirches so that's awesome! It's going to be in the high 80's for vacation this week. It wouldn't be so bad but chasing around an almost 14 month old in the heat will be...fun.

My step sister and BIL have made it to town. They're tired from their 15 hour drive and we're exhausted still. We were at SOs brothers until after midnight! Living it up this summer!
They're staying with my mom and step dad. I think nephew will stay there tonight (DS has an AM theater camp twice a week that starts tomorrow) and we will meet them later in the day. They will leave on Thursday. DS will be so sad, but I still will have bunches of kids all summer. It's crazy town over here.
SO and I leave for a kid free weekend on Friday and we are so excited!

Is it weird I want to go back to school shopping? Mostly I want to buy DS' backpack. I'm curious what type he chooses.

I say durable because kids are rough and I don't want to buy more than one in a school year. He says let him get something fun, durability be damned. 😕

DS literally carried one folder most of the year + whatever craft thing that didn't fit in said folder once in a while. His Target snoopy backpack still looks brand new minus the little plastic ear that got ripped off (which no other backpacks have lol) & lost literally a couple weeks before the end of the year. It was fun for him to have a say. Of course we gave him our opinions & might have swayed him into the adorable backpack but he felt like he chose it. Bahahaha & my kid is the definition of rough/clumsy

I want to get DS this. He's been obsessed with ghostbusters lately but then again, I'd like for him to browse around at the stores once they have all the backpacks out.

We went into the Disney store to look at something else and they had all their back to school stuff out. DD saw a Rapunzel backpack she liked so we got that with the matching lunch box and water bottle. It felt weird to buy school stuff now, but when we were checking out one of the staff members told us that they are going to be bringing in Halloween stuff soon. That is just so insane to me.

Hey mamas. It's a very Monday-ish Monday here. I typically work from 10:00-4:00 and today I walked in to a 10:00 meeting that was set at 5:15 on Friday. Yeah, no, I didn't get that meeting request.
