My mom's surprise party went well yesterday! I think she was surprised despite her saying she thought that something was going on lol. Food was good and the kids played well enough together. The baby did great and didn't get fussy until it was close to bed time.
He's back to pulling up on everything after a two week hiatus. And spent 10 minutes trying to climb up into his anywhere chair so we are on track for walking soon!
Ds1 has been a total monster lately ... Between the weather and all the teachers' kids returning to school, he's been cooped up and had some changes. He will settle back down in a couple days but man this kid doesn't do well with change.

Hi ladies 👋 busy Monday morning so far here. AJ is pulling himself up to standing now, and even went up a couple steps! I was right behind him. Overnight this baby became a kid

I'm here. It's been a rough morning. My H is still not well. He coughed last night until he was throwing up. This is the sickest I have ever seen him and what he's going through is not normal. He already had the day off today and I told him he needs to call his regular Dr ASAP.
Last night we got word that a former student at our school had died in a car accident. He was 19. I didn't have him but my coworker did. We have lost a lot of young people lately which is extremely hard for our small community of about 2,600. He was the best friend of a former student of mine who passed away from cancer. She was 16 at the time. In the last 3 years we have lost a 10 year old (cancer), 16 year old (cancer), 24 year old (navy accident), and now a 19 year old (car accident).

Good morning! Back to work for me but only for 2 days this week and then I have off Wednesday through next week Wednesday for my brothers wedding on Friday. We actually have a college friend’s wedding on Saturday out of town too so it will be a very busy week!
Ds1’s mild cough from last week got a lot worse so we kept him home from school. He seems to be in good spirits, but I don’t want him coughing and snotting all over his classroom. C is doing much better and only woke up once last night 😊

Baby girl was all happy and chatty going to bed the last two nights despite upper front teeth starting to poke through but daycare messaged me that she threw up her lunch today and had very acidic poo She has no fever and seemed happy enough except for not wanting to nap so hopefully it's not a bug? Good news of the day/week/month (hell, year!) is that my request to stick with the 4/5 schedule was approved I'm so happy!!!

Long weekends make it especially hard to come back to work on Monday! The more I'm home with my girls, the more I feel like I should be home with them. Ugh.
I did that newborn photoshoot yesterday for my friend's friend and it was so much fun! The pictures are beautiful (IMO) and I can't wait to finish editing them and send them to her! The babies were super cooperative for pictures too so that made it easy. I wish any of my girls had been that peaceful for their newborn pictures!
I'm currently waiting on IT to help me get Voltage Secure Email working on my computer (haven't been able to access it since installing updates on my computer a few weeks ago). I'm also supposed to go pump in 15 minutes and I'm sure the IT guy is going to IM me as soon as I step away. Hopefully I can get it working today though because it's been such a pain not being able to read certain emails!

So I think DS1 has reflux/heartburn. For the past week or so at bedtime he keeps saying he has to poop, his tummy hurts but then he can’t go. At first I thought it was constipation but that’s not the case. Next I figured it’s a stall tactic to avoid bedtime because he only does it at night. He did it a ton last night and finally went to bed 1.5 hrs after I put him in there. This morning he had no problem going and ate breakfast normally. Then, on the way to school he told me his throat hurt. When questioned he said it only hurts when he burps and for a while after he burps. So now I am wondering if his “tummy pain” is really reflux related from when he lays down (although he doesn’t have complaints during naps). He says it hurts down low but kids are bad at describing pain IMO. So I’m going to email his doctor to see what her recommendations are (and maybe do a good log) but wanted to see if anyone here has an experience. He just turned 4 and didn’t have reflux as a baby.

Odd jules1614, but I guess it could be! Sending hugs to you today sarahandben108. quinn, AJ walking already 😮 Jojo is just starting to pull up, but only from sitting, not from her belly. Swimming lessons start tonight at 6. I hope it's not too late for her, but we'll just come home and get ready for bed 👍

My brother had reflux when he was younger. It was really bad when he was like 7-9 I think. I forget what he ended up being diagnosed with ... Esophageal something or the other. I think my mom just limited the foods in his diet and he took reflux meds for awhile. He doesn't have any issues now at 28 years old. I don't think he had reflux as a baby.

I'm thinking your DD is like my kids, and when they're teething their poop is just rank, which usually in turn causes an awful diaper rash!

I inadvertently snooped around in dh's email (I needed to use his computer and it automatically opens to his email). And he has a second interview for a new job! He's wanted a change for awhile so this would potentially be a good move for him. I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for him!

Hey- popping by to say hi.
DS1 has had a tough start to grade 1- transition to full days has been tough.
DD started preschool today. She loved it.
N is doing good. Almost walking. Took 2 steps the other day but hasn’t since. Will now let go of things and stand on his own. Sleeping sucks still. He got his stitches out last week. Good thing his uncle is a doctor and auntie is a nurse. They did it on Grandma’s counter island. Lol.
Othe than that- hanging in and trying to survive.
Hope all is well with everyone.

She has been pooping a lot too, but no rash so far 🤞 B has all the teething symptoms right now, too. Low fever, crabby, gross poops, bad sleep, chewing everything, and I can actually see the lumps on his gums where his teeth are trying to poke through. I hope they make it through the gums soon, because my happy baby is miserable.
