Haven’t read, so... sorreh to barge in
I have had what feels like a Charlie horse in my calf for two days. I haven’t worked out since starting a new job 3 weeks ago other than running around with kids.
I don’t want to go to the ER but I’m scared of a blood clot. I have a doctor friend and asked for her advice and she said to go if it’s really painful (it’s only somewhat painful when walking) or if it’s still sore tomorrow.
So I have anxiety about it and will be up all night.

McBenny I'd never read about doing that so no. But I'll certainly give it a try. Thanks!

adm11 the baby sill be fine from an occasional spike it’s constant spikes that aren’t good. And Tlex is right that it’s trial and error. I couldn’t drink tea without my sugar spiking (some people can’t tolerate caffeine apparently) but I could have pizza, pasta or chocolate without issue. Tea?? Ugh so weird! This is so stressful. I’m pissed most of my days bc I live in fear of everything I eat.

She also said if it gets worse or isn’t better by tomorrow to go get it checked out. I have no traditional risk factors other than being a little overweight and no reason to think it’s anything other than muscular except anxiety.

I know it’s worrisome, so maybe call regular doc tomorrow.

So when do babies start to nap? DD doesn't nap. at all. She will be 3 months next week. I mean, if the stars are aligned and everything is in place--she may give you an hour long stretch. But most of the time it is 15-20 minute cat naps. All day. She is a great night sleeper--but a horrible day sleeper. She fights the naps SO much. If she even THINKS she is falling asleep, she spits the pacifier out, or slaps herself to keep awake. I will not be able to cheer you up. DS always fought naps and still tries to stall bedtime as much as possible. The kid just hates sleep. Sorry.

They sleep great the first 6 months and then it’s nothing but sleep training for night to survive and BS naps at home.

If she even THINKS she is falling asleep, she spits the pacifier out, or slaps herself to keep awake. My son was the king of cat naps until probably 7 or 8 months. And even then, it was just because daycare was able to train him. He still wasn’t great with naps at home until about 10 months. Then he was able to get into a decent 1-1.5 hour nap twice a day rhythm until he was 16 months and we switched to one nap. Since then and currently (he turned 2 in July) he takes a 2.5-3 hour bomb ass nap pretty much every day. So it can get better!

DD1 woke up and came into the living room crying that she didn't brush her teeth (because she had fallen asleep on the couch). "My breath is stinky." Lol she was so sad. We brushed her teeth and now she is back in bed.

Everything keeps making me create new passwords and if someone logs me out I have to start over as they all now want a capital letter plus a number and something else and I cannot remover the password for each streaming account.

I felt like a monster about food and I really resent it post pregnancy.
