inthekitty I meant to comment earlier, but I cannot wait to start reading chapter books with B. He doesn't quite have the attention span now...well, that might not be it, but he interrupts every .7 sec. to ask about the meaning of a word, or what's going to happen next, etc. I started The Black Stallion with him, read a couple chapters, and finished it silently myself. Maybe another year or so and he'll be ready. lfig So sorry to hear about the pneumonia! Poor girl. Hopefully she can kick it quickly.

I have no clue what this shark song is. #humblebrag totally brag worthy. I only know it because one of the fashion bloggers I follow on IG had a story of her kid dancing to it. The kid was cute and I vowed never to introduce my kid to it. He somehow never got into the daddy finger song, either. |

Hi! Finally getting a chance to check in! I tweaked something in my neck/back last night at soccer and now I’m getting shooting pains when I twist my head. So that’s delightful. But, dh and I have a babysitter for the boys so we (and C) are having a date night.

dapostrophe thank you for thinking of him! He actually seems to be doing all right in the new class. He went on a nap strike for the first week but I think they’ve gotten that worked out, His vocabulary has really increased in the past 2 weeks and I’m not sure if it’s coincidence or if it’s the influence of the older kids. But I’ll take it!

My workshop ended early so that made it the best one ever. I got off in time to pick up the kids, MH had pizza waiting for us when we got home, i walked the dog, and I already worked out this morning. So everyone's fed and I'm in my pajamas at 6:10.

Contractions have pretty much stopped. I’m about to drink some cold water and do a kick count, little man has been pretty quiet since contractions stopped so he has me worried. |

I successfully lit and cooked food on our charcoal grill. It’s a gigantic pain in the butt and hopefully someday we can get a gas grill. But the steak was on point. Now I’ve set my alarm for 4:30am and I’m off to dreamland.

How are things going cheeksmum? Did you go in? Everything stopped. I have a random one here and there but nothing consistent. I called to speak with a nurse last night and the receptionist asked me to call back because they were busy with 4 deliveries and 3 csections at that moment. Baby boy started kicking and moving normally so we decided not to go knowing they’re so busy. |

He cooks directly on the grate or in cast iron and the flavor is amazing! |
