Morning! No big plans for us today, just another day in paradise  I have been indulging in retail therapy -- my fall wardrobe is going to be pretty cute b/c of all this! DH had to take a shift at essentially Hurricane HQ from 8-4 today, so he left a few minutes ago. We have had exactly 30 seconds of rain. Otherwise it's just breezy and overcast. I may try to take the kids to the park this morning; we are expecting rain this afternoon (but they've been saying that for 3 days so :shruggy guy:) Pass the mimosas, please. |

Day 2 of our retreat. Yesterday was a little intense but good. And we had a lot of fun last night. Today we are out at 2:30 so that will be nice. I’ll be able to get a couple things done at home before picking up C.

We have preschool in an hour, and Charlie and I have a few grocery store errands to run.
I need a few elbow length/three-quarter sleeve shirts, so I brave the mall this afternoon

cheeksmum good luck, I hope today is the day! Is flamingo the only one potentially getting some hurricane? guster don’t you have family in NC? My aunt and uncle are just outside Willmington but have gone to my cousins a few hours away where I think they are still getting it. Today I woke up to T watching a pg-13 movie on the Vietnam war. I suggested cartoons but apparently he only likes solider movies.

I'm on day 2 of a workshop today. So far it's not that bad, the presenter is actually well prepared, but there's rarely enough material for 2 days. I think today will likely be come and role plays which are always just a time filler.

Hello from the other side! Busy, but finally at productive day at the office! Can’t wait for the weekend though  . My girl has fallen asleep without us needing to go up four times, so I guess tough love works 🙄. I’m doing good dietwise, but I need a comfy meal, trying to decide what! |

Madison has been asking about Harry Potter. I explained that the movies are based on books and she has to read the books first. So we've started the first book. We've been reading a chapter a night and I felt kind of evil last night because we stopped just as Hagrid and Dumbledore arrive and Harry finds out he's a wizard. Madison begged for more but it was past bedtime. It's great to see her so excited about reading.

Morning ladies! tgrimes enjoy your kid free night! I haven't had coffee. I went by a smaller coffee place on the way in...packed. Went by Starbucks...even more packed. So I came into work and sent an email to the ladies in the office that I would be leaving about 8:30 to go BACK to Starbucks, when everyone is at work, and getting my damn coffee, if they wanted anything. |

kim22, my Aunt and Uncle are in NC. Right along the coast apparently. Her H is a dick and was refusing to leave, she is unable to do so on her own due to her illnesses. I'm sure my mom will update me today on how everything is. Hopefully.

Morning! I woke up this morning to the sound of H playing in her room, which is fine at least I don’t have to fight her awake and she wasn’t doing anything naughty. Preschool this morning for her and I’m not sure what S and I will do while she’s there. I have to go to bed super early this evening because I have to wake up super early tomorrow morning. cheeksmum come on baby! |

tgrimes, you're spending all my money that I don't have! Actually, the 2 cute jackets you posted the other day were in teh toddler section and the big girl coats weren't as cute, so I didn't spend any money there.
