LO’s school is driving me crazy. They put a homework assignment for me and C todo in his cubby yesterday. It was due September 11th. The. Tonight we have orientation. It doesn’t start until 7 and it doesn’t finish until after 8. Both E and LO go to bed at 8. By the time we get home it will be after 9. I asked if I can just get the info and they said no.

I wouldn't do the orientation.  I'm not willing to sacrifice my kids' sleep for an orientation that starts at an inconvenient time.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not chrisy01 but I talked to her yesterday.  She's okay.  It's not my story to tell on here so I'll let her share more when she's ready.

flamingo I also loathe when my H is on conference calls at home...which is all the time. He usually goes into a closed room to do them, but every once an awhile he takes one out in the living room and it drives me batty.

Busy day here. I’m at the gym now and then I have to run home and get ready because Lucas has his iep meeting today. Dh is meeting me there and then working from home for the rest of the day, so I’m hoping I can run out without the kids to get stuff for Landon’s bday this weekend. Then we have two soccer games tonight.

Also, dh and I had a really good night last night. It was late when we got home from soccer practice so when we got home from soccer practice we didn’t turn on a show, we just each had a glass of wine and talked. Nothing huge, I just felt like we haven’t sat down and just talked like that in awhile because we are always so busy. It was good to reconnect. And tomorrow we have a babysitter for date night!!

I’m just going to skip it. I already told his teacher that he goes to bed at 8 and it takes at least 1/2 hour to get home with no traffic (and there will be traffic). I’m not disrupting sleep for this. If that means he can’t go to this school for kindergarten then we will find another one.

Guys, I don't know what I did to deserve Bea, but she is the best baby. She gave me 8 hours last night and I feel like a new woman. She is so smiley and easy going all the time (knocking on wood as I type). This means she's going to be hell on wheels as a toddler, I just know it.

We are at Starbucks catching up on life. I need to get back into the gym, but I still feel like she's too little to leave in the gym childcare. Plus, with cold and flu season right around the corner I am hesitant. But I can't wait until like next spring to go, because I will go crazy. Dilemnas.

I have 1st grade orientation tonight and my son is super excited for me to go do his scavenger hunt, he's been talking about it all week. So sweet of him, but I was kind of hoping to send H :/

I’m at a different site today and it should be an early day for me. I’m glad because I have a shit ton to do. We have soccer tonight and I need to do some errands and attempt to pack before then. MH’s team has a game in Atlanta this weekend so we are going up to stay with his cousins Friday night. I really want to go so I can do some shopping Saturday before the game. I looked at what I have for M2 for this winter and it’s not much. I may need to look in another bin in the attic, but I still think I will need a few pairs of joggers and shirts to send him to daycare in.

S has an ear infection and bronchitis. Sending us for a chest X-ray. She doesn’t think she has pneumonia, but wants to be sure with the increased seizures and the lingering cough.

I missed the meeting I had to go to Tuesday since DD got sick. I heard 3 different accounts of the fireworks that went on so I requested the audio recording to hear for myself. Summary: a dad and I were asked to run a committee, unaware that another mother wanted the job. Her and her friends have now decided to behave as middle school girls. Lucky for me, I am a middle school professional.

I have a cleaning at the dentist in an hour and C is going to go to the daycare lady that watched my other kids. It’s only for like 45 minutes but I hope he’s not scared.

lfig Poor S, sorry y'all have been dealing with this. I cannot imagine such frequent seizures, that must be scary no matter how "used" to them you get. I hope the x-ray comes back clear!

lahdeedah Ooh, shopping in Atlanta. Color me jealous. Probably best for my wallet that I do not live there anymore, but as a single girl, it was really great! 

ETA: Dh had to go in to work so I'm home with the kids. We still have not had any rain or wind to speak of; I ran them up to McD's just to get out of the house. So much for my lunch cocktail! We do have stuff for pomegranate margaritas, though, so I'm going to make those to go with our tacos tonight.
