We got breakfast out and H took the kid to the playground so I can get some serious cleaning done at home.

Did y’all know that you can just sign and press done on Square and ignore the whole top question? Like you don’t have to actively choose “no tip” if you don’t want to tip. Somehow that made me feel better about not tipping. I didn’t tip today because I like to keep them on their toes.

I have so much I need to do but it’s cloudy and I just want to sit. We had a 2hr park play date yesterday and then all 5 of us went to a wedding. H is working.

It's overcast with a cool breeze outside, so I'm about to go get my 2 miles in. I'm meeting STBX at a birthday party later with his whole family. Super fun times!

I got a glorious 12 hours of sleep! 🙌🏼 I needed to play catch up after our mini trip, where I drank too much wine and had broken sleep.
I’m excited for football Sunday!

We just got home from the store. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The commissary parking lot was under about six inches of water though. People weren't kidding when they said the base here floods easily... Fortunately the housing area is a lot higher than the main base!
I plan to do a little cleaning and take a long nap today.

Sorry readyornot, planning things with extended families tends to always be stressful. Gloomy day here, but I'm fine with it. Not motivated to do anything. Not feeling great and I have some kinda scary tests this week. Drinking coffee now tying to put on my "patience" hat because I have to go up to MIL's to do her medications, lol.

I survived the store. I’m glad I went early. I was able to get a dry shopping cart (there were only 4 left that were dry!) and do my shopping without the old church ladies taking up the whole aisle. It was a pretty slim trip but I’m aiming for some serious cupboard cleaning this week.

Somehow that made me feel better about not tipping. I didn’t tip today because I like to keep them on their toes. After the convo about tipping, I made sure I had the tipping option toggled off on my square account. I don’t want people feeling weird or like they should be tipping me when I send an invoice.

Morning, lovelies. We finished the flooring yesterday and it.looks.so.good. Changes the house. I’m so thrilled. H has some trim and molding work to do and we need to do the bedrooms (eventually), but. Baby steps.
In other news, my grandma passed on Friday, which was honestly a relief for everyone. It was time, but I’m sad and I feel like another piece of my mom is gone. We’re going to my dad’s this afternoon for a little family get together. Until then, I need to order groceries and run to Costco.

Good morning! I got really good sleep last night despite everyone being off their schedules this weekend. The twins slept from 9-4 and then again until 9, and A didn’t wake until 8 and then only wanted to snuggle with cartoons. They really get how to do a weekend away and I appreciate that. Now we’re waiting on the rain to let up so we can load the car and head home.

Today’s my last day of vacation until the long weekend for hanksgiving. I’m bummed I didn’t get more done but trying to focus on the positive things I did get done.
Today we’re doing more work on our closet. Fx we actually do something that works and that we like this time.

We all slept in past 8 this morning. I’m now in the most comfy clothes available on earth and have my feet up while the kids eat. I let MH sleep in and he only lasted an extra 30 mins so win win. We need a few groceries and the kids want to swim again at a new pool they tried yesterday. Apparently my 2 year old loves the diving board. 🙈 jabbers wishing you a safe and pleasant drive home!

Im really good at over thinking all things preschool. Im going to be "that mom" I was “that mom” last year. I freaked out wondering if they would use the bathroom at school because they don’t like the loud flushing, what if they couldn’t reach, what if they were afraid to ask to go to the bathroom, if they would sit and cry the whole time, what if something (anything) happened. They did amazing and all my worries were just stressing me out. This is their second year of preschool and now it’s just see ya later, kids and they run off to their friends. A lot of mine was anxiety as well so I know how it feels. LO will do amazing!

My kid has become such a rockstar sleeper lately. He slept well while camping, napped when he could while being carried around out and about and hiking, slept in the car on the way home and transferred to the crib, then slept until 7:45 this morning. After 15 months of struggling with his sleep, he has become everything I’ve dreamed of.

rubysue I’m sorry about your grandmother. It is a rainy, gloomy day here, but the kids have been so well-behaved despite being stuck inside all of yesterday too. DH just got home from work so I’m running out for a pedicure. 🙌🏻

Laundry and meal planning/grocery shopping today. Going to sit outside and read for a bit though, we just had an under deck system and ceiling fans installed and it’s soooo nice to sit outside now. We had an impromptu pool party last night and I drank the perfect amount, I was tipsy but no headache today, yay! truckerhat I’m surprised you’re house hunting! It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long since you did all those renos.

DS has finally gotten to the point where he will head downstairs and watch tv on his own with a bowl of cereal on weekend mornings. It’s been a long time coming and I love it. DH and I both got to sleep in until the baby woke up at 8:45am.

Omg, everyone go to Target and buy their Archer Farms spinach and goat cheese pizza. It’s $4.74, and it’s amazing.

truckerhat I’m surprised you’re house hunting! It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long since you did all those renos. I think with the boys getting bigger and having friends over, we've realized we feel kind of cramped. We don't have much yard space to make up for it either. My H was like "we can kiss that $XXXk we spent on upgrades goodbye". Yeah, that kind of burns. I'll be sad to leave this neighborhood though.

What are you thinking about? Literally everything lol i SAH and its been me and ds everyday since birth. I have this anxiety thing like i fear i wont be able to get to him. Not really sure. Gotta love anxiety, not. I understand this 100%. My DD is really shy so I was afraid that she would be "lost" in the room. I was lucky that DD was able to go to preschool at my work. I would peek in on her and it made me feel so much better. And it made her Kindergarten experience better since she was used to the classroom setting.
