Gentle whispering, whispers red, asmr surge, massage asmr.
I subscribed to asmr darling for awhile but I couldn't get into her videos cause her microphone quality is shit. She has over a million subscribers but can't get better equipment?
I love whispers and crinkling and anything that sounds like its directly in my ear lol. Asmr surge is all sounds and no whispers if you like sounds. Massage asmr has amazing tapping sounds and crinkles.
Personal attention and face touching/brushing is relaxing for me but doesn't give me tingles.

Oh and I feel the tingles in my head, neck, shoulders, spine, and sometimes in my hip bones. I remember in grade school watching my friends draw and getting sooo zoned out. I didn’t know it was something other people felt until I randomly saw Molly Shannon explaining it to Conan O’Brian one night while I was flipping through channels, lol. This is me. I zone out watching others do quiet activities. Yesterday I got tingle watching my kid play with play dough.

But yeah her mics are old school, haha.

So this all sounded weird, but curiosity got the best of me and I started checking out ASMR videos on YouTube last night, and wow! So relaxing. I found one where it was like she was giving me a head massage, giving me a haircut, touching my face...and I really enjoyed it. I was not expecting that. I’m hooked.

They have the opposite effect on MH too. I’m assuming it’s an extreme one or the other. I do like Bob Ross though I'm not sure I get brain tingles, I just find his voice and painting style soothing. Slightly related I think is that I work 12 hr shifts thru the night, so its often extremely boring but I need to stay awake. I turn the TV on, for company mostly, and flip thru until I find something I don't actually have to watch, nor am interested in, but is engaging and pleasant to listen to. ( I do podcasts sometimes, but I am interested in them, and they are too distracting) I find that I click thru and land on Law and Order. Ive listened to them all, same episodes many many times, and the music and voices are all at the perfect range of listening, not engaging. If someone stops in my office and asks what are you watching, I often don't even know- it has to do with the pacing of a show, the predictability of it, the voices. theres something almost hypnotic that gets me into an almost meditative but alert state. But its acoustic, not visual.
