Weeks pregnant: 14
Baby is the size of a: indeterminate... peach, lemon or beet have all shown up. Ovia says squirt gun but that doesn’t sound right.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: boy
Appointments: sept 10
Symptoms: nausea is back especially later in the day... whyyyy?! I have to pee a lot, I’m very irritable with MH, and I’m so tired. Probably from waking up to pee.
Milestones: none I can think of, maybe that’s my milestone, the baby absorbed the last of my memory cells
Rants/Raves/Vents:
GTKY: What is your favorite color? shades of neutrals 😝 maroon if my 4 year old is really pressuring me

Weeks pregnant: 11w2d
Baby is the size of a: limes
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM and TTM (twins)
Team: finding out. Should be about 1 more week until genetic testing results come back. Eek! We may have them put it in an envelope so that we can reveal together or with DD. I'm not sure yet. She still doesn't know!
Appointments: 9/10 for 12 week scan and follow up. 9/18 for inital intake at mfm. They want me to establish a relationship now since the twins will share a placenta but have their own sac (mono-di). Sounds like I will have extra monitoring.
Symptoms: tired, some nausea still. Crazzzzy dreams.
Milestones: almost to 12 weeks and my next appt, then I think we will start telling more people.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I was camping over the weekend, no one slept well, and my poor H keeps trying to be... romantic. I have zero interest. I'm so tired by 8 pm. I feel bad that I keep turning him down, but it's been just over a week since the last time. I feel that is sufficient for now. He needs to not take it personally, but we're having trouble communicating on this.
GTKY: What is your favorite color? Aqua/turquoise

Yay for a great appt @ges072115! Ouch bex15! I hope your PIO shots hurt less. How much longer will you have to do those? Sorry the nausea is back Tlex! I hope it goes away ASAP! So exciting that you will find out the sex of your babies soon Eames! I hope your H doesn’t take it personally that you don’t feel like being intimate with him.

My nurse called with the results of the genetic test today, everything is normal and we're having a BOY! 💙 I was so surprised and home alone (Well E was napping) I just started crying (happy tears), haha. H is excited too, even though he was hoping for another girl Now we get to buckle down on names! H wouldn't take it seriously until we knew what it was and we haven't had much luck yet.

Rants/Raves/Vents: Just feel like I’m slowly dying a first tri death. 🤢 Also, I’ve been super lightheaded and have experienced some strange blurry vision/aura. I don’t remember having that with either of my previous pregnancies. Not sure if it warrants a call to the OB, or if I can just wait until my appointment next week. I’m just ready to feel a bit more normal again. This is a symptom I get with migraines when pregnant. It happened once during first trimester last pregnancy and also included tingling of arms and mouth- so my speech was impacted. H took me to the ER bc he thought it was a stroke...nope, diagnosed with migraine even though I had no headache. Happened once two weeks ago this pregnancy too, and an hour or so after the blurry vision/aura and lightheadedness came the actual migraine headache.

I’ve had aura with migraines years ago, but I haven’t had a migraine in about 4-5 years. The aura I had the other day didn’t precede a migraine (thankfully), but it really freaked me out. Hearing your experience does make me feel a bit better, though. I’m going to talk with my OB about it next week. I hope you don’t get anymore aura/migraines this pregnancy!

Eames, girl don't feel bad about not wanting to have sex right now. Me and my H haven't had sex since I got pregnant. I feel like shit constantly and there is nothing I want less than to have sex. They have to understand that this will pass and things will even out with hormones. I told H that I just need him to get that it has nothing to do with him.

Thank you remi and @ges... I know this is common but I'm just not up for a weekly frequency right now. Glad I'm not the only one.

I feel bad I’m not usually logged in when I’m reading and creeping on this board so I’m just giving out imaginary love tits 😂 Weeks pregnant: 6+3 Baby is the size of a: blueberry FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Finding out. Appointments: I have my first appt with a midwife tmrw and an ultrasound next week. I’m not sure what to expect with these appts because it’s a new office then where I went for my doctor. So far I’m not too thrilled. Symptoms: so so nauseous all the time. I’m really fog brained too and I can’t figure out if I’m just tired and sick but of course my head jumps to wondering if I’m depressed, and don’t know it. I don’t know. Milestones: I’m still pregnant! Rants/Raves/Vents: I’m sick of being sick. But I know just a couple weeks ago I was nervous not having symptoms so I can’t win either way. GTKY: What is your favorite color? Mint. Read more: howeverithappened.proboards.com/thread/20044/weekly-check-week-9-18#ixzz5QFKKVDNe

Yogurt it's so amazing to see them moving around in there, especially when they're so little! At my last u/s he kept moving his arms around and my heart wanted to explode.

I just got a ton of blood drawn and part of it was the NIPT. So excited to get that back to cross another major worry off my list.

So I had my first appt today at a new office since the OB from my DD retired. It was awful. I sobbed when I left the office. It is a big change from me before my office was so so so small and this is huge but the nurse kept interrupting me and wasn’t thorough she rushed everything it was seriously awful. So I made an appt at another office... and now have another one on my list. Any tips on making a decision or how to handle this? Do I just go to all these appts and see what feels right?! The drawback of the new one I just scheduled with is I would have to see males. I don’t know why but that just kind of weirds me out. I know I need to get over it but it just does. MH assured me he’ll be going to all the appts once things get started but he couldn’t come today for just the nurse history/whatever she did visit today, which was totally fine.
ETA: I’ll add I guess my concern is with the new place I’ll have my nurse visit soon but my first visit with a doctor isn’t until I’m 12 weeks...I am not sure what the norm is for that but I think my PGAL brain is like 12 weeks along?!!! I feel like I should have like four visits by then lol. I will have an ultrasound next week even if I switch drs so hopefully that goes well and can ease my mind.

nmom sorry you had a bad experience :/ I think it's definitely worth going to a different office or doctor, and if it helps at all I've loved more male doctors than female that I've seen (at my practice you rotate as many doctors as you can since really any of them could deliver for you). I grew up with a male doctor so I've always been comfortable with one, but I think you could be surprised how comfortable you would be, despite thinking it would be weird. I say try it out, and worst case if you don't like him, see the 3rd option! And I agree that it's crazy how long they wait before your first appt anymore. Mine was at 10 weeks and it felt forever, with my dd it was at 8 and I still thought that was a long time! It's good you get an u/s and nurse appt before then though, an u/s is the best way (for me, at least) to be reassured!

But like today my back is hurting and I’m just sitting here like crap here it comes 😞 it’s such a mind game sometimes. BUT I do think I need a different office so I can find someone who takes the time so I feel heard. I was floored I got interrupted today.

My nurse may be incompetent sometimes but I know she and my doctor will listen and help no matter what, even when I'm being "that" paranoid pregnant lady and calling for the 7th time in a week.....not that I ever did that or anything...
