Home Depot workshop day today. The boys are excited, but dS2 is sick. Poor kiddo fell asleep on school towards the end of the day. I almost kept him home, but he kept saying he just got up too early. Well, he got home, laid down and proceeded to throw up a few times. Poor kiddo. He had cooled back down after a shower, but woke up blazing again. Yay for back to school.

DH was supposed to go up north today but it’s going to rain up by their cabin so he’s staying home! Yay! It’s cloudy and cool here. We are going to go to the farmers market, library, grocery store, and school supply shopping for ds1. I was going to do all of these things solo with the boys anyway but I’m super happy that DH will be able to come along now.

clucky hope he feels better soon!! Rainy day here. I’ll probably venture out with the boys later to go to hobby lobby and maybe chick fil a for lunch/indoor play. Otherwise not much on the agenda. Getting the boys pictures done tomorrow so I should probably get some new outfits too.

So tired. I feel like both kids alternated being awake all night. And I’m solo with the kids for the next 5 hours or so while my H golfs. ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

All my plans today fell through. My friend ended up having to pick her aunt and uncle up at the airport 2 hours away and then DH's aunt cancelled because the highway is currently closed due to an accident. Guess its now sheets/towels day.

I was solo parenting most of the day while H was helping a friend move house. Failed at joining in at nap time despite failing asleep on the couch while she was banging toys on the activity table 😑
I did get to meet BFF for a quick coffee and a drink in between her school supplies shopping, it was lovely to see her, especially as it's been ages with holidays etc.

Tapatalk is being a pain in the ass. Grumble grumble. Ds1 was in our bed again at 645am. So we are going to keep his door locked tomorrow morning in the hopes of getting a little more sleep. Ds2 isn't napping great today but whatever. We are having people over tomorrow for a cook out so I'm thinking I'll run out to the store after I get ds2 to bed, but idk. I'm tired too lol.

Hi, all! I am at work but finishing up shortly. It was an annoying but relatively easy day. H and I have a date night tonight and we need it SO badly. We have not had any time with each other at all the last few weeks due to various circumstances. I am excited. We did have sushi and wine last night but since I was up at 4 am, and he has been working like crazy, we were both asleep on the couch at 830, lol. Poof, proud of H.  |

Hope DS2 feels better soon clucky, Good luck solo parenting doxiemama, Nice job Mr. thatgolfb! As for me, we went grocery shopping in the morning and then enjoyed the day playing together outside. It was nice. Tomorrow we are doing the local amusement park for the last time this season. E had two awesome naps today. Over an hour each. I’m hoping that maybe this is his new thing but who knows. |

It’s been a rainy, hot, unbelievably humid day today. We went out for mexican for lunch and then hit Target. We’re supposed to go on a little road trip 2 hours away tomorrow for the night. He lives on a farm and is having a big end of summer party. It’s going to rain like crazy. I’m not thrilled but my H really wants to go so I guess I’ll suck it up. thatgolfb, I think I’m going to pop open a bottle of my wine after the kids go to bed! It’s close enough to red season, right?? |

Tried a new neighborhood park today, so much sand. It is unbelievably humid today, so we only made it for about 45 minutes. H is home this weelend, so her grilled some wings and we are watching football.

I always forget how the beginning of the school year kicks my butt. I was in bed by 8:30 pretty much every night this week. Hopefully I’ll feel like I’ve got more time to check in again soon!

It feels so good knowing that I don’t have to go to work tomorrow! We’ve been pretty productive this weekend and I’m hoping to keep it going today. C is starting to grow out of his 9 month stuff so I need to switch it out with the next size up. Then my brother’s fiancée is coming over today and we’re going to make the centerpieces for the wedding. I asked her if she needed me to grab anything from the store- I meant like craft supplies but she responded with “cheese, crackers, and wine!” Well okay then! I suppose it will make our afternoon a little more fun 😜

Getting the boys pictures done today and then hoping to have a low key rest of the day. H worked last night but now he’s off for a few days so it’ll be nice to have him around. We might be having a cookout tomorrow so if we do I’ll have to clean and grocery shop but otherwise no plans!

Dang it snuff9861, so annoying! pootsen, I love it, girl knows what she wants lol. grumpycat, 645 is really good for most kids, haha, but I hope he did better today! Yay for red wine! It's year round for me, just maybe not for lunch or in the afternoon in the summer, not until the evening. I didn't check in yesterday! We had a good day. We went to our local fair, Jojo loved it. I also decided to make a busy book for our plane trip coming up so I spent my spare time planning, shopping and working on that. I'll post pics of the two pages I've done so far in one second. |

My H and I are still debating on a date for E’s bday party.
10/7–Columbus weekend, 3+ weeks before her bday, likely warmer weather and comfortable to be outside
10/13–still likely ok temps, but the day before my half marathon
10/20–10 days before her bday, taking our chances with the weather getting cooler
We need to make a decision sooner rather than later to get invitations out!

blabbermouth he's a total disaster if he doesn't get 10+ hours of sleep at night. He doesn't nap anymore so 🤷 I need a lot of sleep and he seems to have inherited that.

So last night was our first night with out the sleep suit and she did really good. She liked the nested bean suit thing and I think it's a good transition piece so I'm happy. What I'm not happy about is on our long weekend she has woke up 630 or earlier lol. Guess I'll just count it as a win. Tagging you belle0720 for the update. Might take the girls to a trampoline park then maybe out to my sisters to play. Not sure |
