It's not actually fantastic, but it's Friday.
And we're talking about leaving work a few hours early and having a drink before we leave...so the hope is alive.

Morning ladies!
I have a 4 day weekend when I get through today. Got groceries last night so I don't have to mess with that this weekend. Going swimming at my dads tomorrow, then no other plans the rest of the weekend.
What's everyone up to?

mwhip , I hope you're able to do that. Sounds amazing! It was discussed yesterday...when we were having a drink before leaving for the day. There aren't a lot of people here today, so I'm pretty sure as soon as our production team is gone at 2, it's on! |

Happy Friday! I woke up last night and threw up. I think I had bad wine? MH bought a box of chardonnay (yup, we are box wine drinkers) and it was kind of a weird dark color. He said it tasted and smelled weird. I thought it tasted fine and drank it anyway...I regretted that decision.

C is still sick and had to miss his last day of daycare today. I was sad about it, but he was happy as a clam to get to stay home!

Pete is painting today since the drywall people finished up last night. It better dry fast because I don't know how I'm going to keep the kids away. We're meeting chrisy01 at a park tomorrow morning but other than that there aren't any plans for this weekend. |

My child (who started her day at 3:45am yesterday 🙄) is still sleeping. So she’s either catching up on sleep or she’s sick. I’m almost afraid to go see. Lol. But if she’s not sick I gotta get her ready for school. I hate waking a sleeping child! Especially one who woke up at a ridiculous hour yesterday!

wineallthetime I’m not phased by the boxed wine, the Chardonnay in the other hand... I just don't get the chardonnay hate! It's what my whole family drinks. It's so good! I really only like that and pinot grigio as far as white goes. Everything else just tastes too sweet? |

Good morning! My mom gets here today. My dad was giving me a hard time about making her take an Uber from the airport.... it's right at preschool drop off time and it's not a quick drive. Plus Letty will be with me and she doesn't love the car. I picked up my Walmart grocery order yesterday morning. Life. Changing. I can't get everything I need at Walmart of course but I can get the basics and I don't have to step foot in that horrible store. I can't believe it's free. Best. wineallthetime Have you had the Winking Owl boxed wine from Aldi?? |

I used to be a big pinot fan but then I started drinking sauvignon blanc more and that became my favorite white. I also think Chardonnary is too sweet. |

No judgement from me on boxed wine, they made some really good boxed ones now! nam2013 what kind of wine do you think is in wine's profile pic? sands42 how are you settling into the house? I'm sad the Aldi's by me don't carry alcohol. Kansas law prohibits the sale of wine and liquor from grocery stores, you can only buy beer in them, which Aldi doesn't carry. |

Morning. H woke me up around 5 saying her ear hurt. She woke up with a cold on wed (I think) so I’m not surprised. I dosed her with Motrin and we went back to sleep. I’m taking her to school and will figure out the ear situation later.

Morning! I think I'm going to take the kids to one of those inflatable bounce house places. C is still too little for the trampoline park here, but they need to get some energy out. We're expecting thunderstorms here today, maybe if we go early it won't be too crazy. sands42 You're making me want to try Walmart pick-up now! I hate going to the store but their prices on staples are hard to beat. I need a few groceries today, specifically one item (Sposies) that only WM carries in this area. I'll see if they offer curbside service. Speaking of, did I tell y'all we're getting a Wegman's? I know a lot of ppl feel about Wegman's the way southerners feel about Publix, so I'm intrigued. It's supposed to open this fall. |

trtlcrzy Hope H will have a good day despite the ear lfig Fingers crossed it's just a one-off and S is just getting extra beauty sleep. I also hate waking the kids up when they're sleeping; naturally B typically only sleeps late on the days we have to get up and be somewhere.

White wine is intolerable unless it's sparkling or a nice, citrusy Sauvignon Blanc. |

FFFC: I've never had boxed wine. I've only had it once, my first college boyfriend served me some once. I think he was trying to set the mood or something. He...did not get what he was after. |

Good morning. My baby gets up 6-8 times a night now so I’m exhausted. He got up at 6:30 so since I never got to bbm yesterday, I did 2 today. Now he’s sleeping. DH is off again but has to take a few calls. I’m hoping to take DS1 school shopping alone. All 4 at the mall has been a nightmare. The other kids have enough new clothes for now and it will probably stay hot for a few more months. DS is starting to get nervous for middle school. He does have his first 2 classes with his good friend so that helps. He will be taking a bus for the first time and the school is huge so it’s a lot.

I woke her up, she had no fever, so I quickly changed her and medicated her, then out the door for school! Then one of my employees texted me to see if I wanted anything from the bakery! It’s gonna be a good day!
MH comes home late tonight. Then this weekend is a busy one. It’s our last big weekend at work. The director of my agency sent out a thing authorizing a 1 hour early release today for the holiday weekend...but that is based on workload and essential staff. We don’t get it because that’s when we start getting busy. So all my new staff have been texting me asking about it and then I get to crush their hopes and tell them no. Lol. My returning staff know that we don’t get in on that so they haven’t even asked.
