grumpycat, bummer. That's a really tough balance for sure. I have a friend who 'works from home' for the government while her 2 year old is at home too. Pretty skeptical on that one! cdnfarmgirl, I think half of us which we could social media or internet detox, but I'm weak, so weak! I went three hours without using my phone today though, so that's something 😒 I'm sure I had more to say, but it's all gone now. Time for more laundry folding.

Peak basic right here. Don't mind the cable cord.

Thanks everyone. I think it will be good for my family and marriage. So ya- we will see how it goes. blabbermouth - it will be hard. Very hard. And that was truly the light bulb for me. When I’m mindlessly grabbing for my phone and randomly scrolling IG/FB andnot even paying attention made me realize I need to take a step back. I was getting frustrated at my kids who needed me when I was trying to read and respond. So ya- I think it’s time. I’ll be back - just not for a bit.

blabbermouth I can definitely see how people are able to work from home with certain kids, but it can't be easy. I just don't have those kind of children lol. Both of my boys get into everything and don't play well independently for any length of time. Both want and demand my participation or they get destructive. Neither allows me to pee in peace so it's nice to be in demand but using the toilet alone would be great.
