Recently I'm just not feeling my morning coffee. It's very sad ☹️ Can't relate...obviously since I was so desperate to have a drink walking into work and then lost part of it down my shirt.

Birth announcement thread is up! Almost the exact same as what I posted here yesterday since those who had commented so far seemed in favor of that. Just some slight wording changes.

I decided my current desk chair was no longer comfortable enough and was making it hard to sit with pelvis tilted forward as recommended by all the baby positioning websites so I snagged a better chair from the conference room next to my desk. So far I really like it and I'm not going to want to give it back!!

I've slept on the couch the last two nights because I can't fall asleep in bed and of course right after I fell asleep around 12:30 last night DD woke up crying so I woke up too and had to give her her blanket back. I don't drink coffee but I'm thinking I might need to start, I'm so tired. Also, mirabelle having her baby has really got my butt in gear with getting my house cleaned and baby stuff organized. I also had a friend who's due date was right around mine and she gave birth three weeks early so shit is getting real for me real quick.

Ordered a big chunk of my Amazon completion discount items. I had a hard time choking down that total. It wasn't even THAT bad.... And it was a lot of stuff. But still.

My first order back in July was my big one though, this one wasn't too bad $$$ wise. Anything else I think of will get added to my Target registry since I haven't used my online or in-store coupons yet.

My breast pump arrived yesterday. I still need to place an Amazon registry order and do an in-store Target trip which will mostly be diapers.

36 weeks today. I made an "oh shit my water broke at work" emergency kit this morning and brought it in to leave at my desk. I know water breaking is generally not the first sign of labor, but it makes me feel better to be prepared in case it happened to happen to me.

Just got done with a prenatal massage. Seriously, if you haven't have one get one! And find a place with the pregnancy pillow with the belly and boob holes, it feels amazing to lay on my stomach!

What'd you pack? Extra pants and underwear?

I haven't been very hungry lately and it's making it really hard to plan dinners 😕 I wish I could just munch on whatever, but I still have to feed DS a real meal!

What'd you pack? Extra pants and underwear? A skirt (and shirt so I still match if I have to change), underwear, a pad, and a couple wash cloths. Also a waterproof pad in case I need to drive home and the one I plan to put in my car isn't there for some reason. Probably overkill, but it made me more comfortable to have all that with me last time so I did the same this time.

Glad you enjoyed!! I had one a couple weeks ago and I thought she said she had the pillow but when I got there it was all side-laying. But my mom surprised me over the weekend with a gift certificate for one so I'm hoping the place she picked out has the pillow because I had one of those massages last pregnancy and it was amazing!!

Oh! You guys wanna laugh at how ridiculous I am?! So, remember I did all that purging months ago and had several boxes of stuff to donate? Well, I finally got MH to look into scheduling a Purple Heart pick-up. When he told me it was scheduled..... I got emotional and teared up about getting rid of all my stuff 😂😂😂 I was half laughing at myself through the welling tears and I kept saying "this is so stupid! I can't control myself!"

I feel like I've heard of people packing larger towels for this scenario too. If it happens, you never know how quickly or slowly it may come out. It could be a slow, constant trickle that may fill a pad quickly. I'd throw extra towels in there! Certainly can't hurt.

The pad just has to make it to my car where my drivers' seat will be covered with a bath towel and another of those waterproof pads! So if it all gushed at once, I'd probably be ok because there wouldn't be as much left for the pad to catch. If it's a slow trickle, the pad will get me to my car!

I haven't had any prenatal massages this pregnancy. Funny because I remember saying early on that I wanted to treat myself to one massage each trimester!! But I've done two 6 week sessions of my prenatal yoga class (and I think I'll squeeze in a few more weeks!) and I've really enjoyed that as a nice "self care" treat.
In my dream world I'll still squeeze a massage in before baby is born, but we'll see how that works out! I did have one with DS.

I had a midwife checkup today. My BP is good, measuring right and Baby is doing great and head down. The midwife checked in with me on how things have been. She was really encouraging and congratulating me on doing everything I have. That felt good.
The group centering appointment was really good since it was just discussing labor and delivery mostly and answering all the questions we could have.
To keep my mind busy, I've started making a felt mobile of Fall objects. I finished my baby hat too and need to post it. I'm in love with the color.
