Is anyone else having their babe share with an older sibling? I'm having a rough time figuring out the organization for their small room. We've only been in our current house two months, so I'm still trying to get my son's stuff organized (painted his room this weekend though!). I don't know if I'll even put the crib in there until she's ready to sleep in it?

Alas mine also will be sharing so no nursery planning for me. I will be stalking the cute pics and ideas though.
I haven't thought much about the new organization, since baby will be rooming with us at least six months. Gotta get that big boy bed in there at some point, we'll plan the layout then.

My kids will be sharing after the baby moves out of our room. (Until we move to our next house when baby is a year or so).
I already put up the crib in DS’s room so he could get used to the idea. Their room is kind of L-shaped so they will each have their own “side” of the room. The baby’s dresser and rocker are in our room for now (we had a bunch of extra space anyway).
There won’t be any decorating going on except that I’m going to get something with the baby’s name off of Etsy to put over the crib, like DS has over his bed. You know, if we ever actually choose a name.

We did some renovations to our upstairs to switch DD into a bigger bedroom so the baby could have her room and they should be done with the painting, flooring, and new closet tomorrow. Crib is scheduled to be delivered Friday and dresser sometime in the next month.
I’m not a theme person until the kids are old enough to ask for what they want so the color scheme is cream, denim, and soft greens. I’m excited to start buying the decor and putting it together. I love decorating.

We haven’t implemented anything yet, but my plan for her nursery is navy, blush and floral. Our crib is white so dresser and all other furniture will be also with a Grey rocker that was DD1’s. I want at least one navy wall, not sure if we’ll do any in blush.

DS will get DD’s bedroom set - convertible crib, dresser, and dresser with changing area - and we’ll buy her a big girl bedroom set. For his theme, I put baby woodland animal stuff on our small registry (step-mom wants to do a sprinkle). He’ll be in what is currently our bedroom (we’re moving upstairs, as we’re finishing the attic of our Cape), and the room will get a fresh coat of paint. I’m thinking tan or a light green.

DD1’s first nursery had a wall of grey and white stripes and I loved it!

I'm planning on using the colors navy, grey, white, and red. It'll be a nautical type theme. I think those colors would be nice with his dark brown furniture I just want to make sure the colors are softer than they are strong. I don't want the room to feel smaller or too dark.

This is us. L will get B's furniture. B already has a full sized bed, but we will need to get him a new dresser since we are stealing his. It's about time though. Those baby dressers don't hold a whole lot. lol

We're doing an ocean theme. I got some crib sheets and a mobile at Target on closeout with anchors and whales on them. My husband suggested the theme purely so he could hang an old set of shark jaws on the wall from when he was a kid. What's funny is that we had already decided on the ocean theme before we settled on the name Morgan, and then when I was looking up the meaning of the name, all the different meanings had something to do with the sea.
We got the crib and dresser set up this past week, and I started sorting through clothes and blankets that I got from my sister. I excited to get some things to put up on the wall soon.

I also have a grey rocker from DS that we will re-use. I think that is going to be the hardest piece for me to incorporate into the vision I have. We ordered the furniture and it probably wont' be here for another month or so. I am anxious to get started!

We're in process of clearing out the spare room that will be the nursery. Not going to go crazy with decorating, but we're going with a Navy/light blue/white/gold theme (the colors of our favorite soccer team) and will be repainting the walls, which are currently white with one dark red wall. Will probably do light blue or light grey and then dark blue to cover the one red wall. I might do some kind of mural on the wall since I'm going to do one for DD when we repaint her room (hopefully at the same time). Crib, glider and dresser will be poached from DD's room and she's getting a twin bed, a comfy chair, and a new dresser

We're also doing an ocean/"under the sea" theme. We bought paint when Home Depot had their rebate, and got motivated to paint one weekend when DS was at grandma's. I wasn't sure if I liked how the waves came out, but we added the decals and I think I like how it turned out. DS got his new full sized bed and dresser a few weeks ago, so his old things were moved in the room then. Now I just need to find some decor still, a bookcase, and launder/organize/make sure we have enough clothes for this kid since opposite seasons. I think I like how things are coming together:

I have nothing ready - his room is currently packed with.....so much stuff. We have to start going through it, then put new flooring in and paint.
I picked a theme though - giraffes. And I have all the furniture except for a glider. So there's that. Sorry 2nd kid. I will get it together soon!

So the room is painted, though the trim will need painted after we do the floor. I think I want to do peachy colors to go with the green. I also need to put up the decor from my son's nursery so I can see where I might need stuff. I also want to get a big peachy rug. B needs a bed frame too. I think her crib will go where the storage cube thing is now. The glider won't fit (and is also navy) so it will go in the front room.
