E slept 12 hours straight! Poor girl has been so tired. I got some much needed rest too. I have to run errands soon and we have my friend's daughter's 1st birthday party later this afternoon.

Congrats on all the much needed sleep everyone!
We are up early but that's ok because I'm driving up north today to go visit some friends who recently had babies. The toddler is hanging out with Grandma because my husband is going camping and I didn't want to take two kids by myself. I'm really excited for new baby snuggles, R seems so old already in comparison.

I love you all but... I hate you for getting sleep. J and B both had awful nights. I didn't get to bed until 3 am. I'm beyond pooped. Lucky me gets to solo parent today because H is working a special event in DC. J has his first skating lesson this morning. I plan on dropping B off with my iLs this afternoon so I can take J to see Cars 3 this afternoon.

No worries heybulldog, I was still up twice with dd. I hope the boys give you a break soon. Are you done with solo bedtimes soon?

We were all up at 6:30. Sadly this is sleeping in for me! Poor DH is already off getting his brakes looked at. They were acting funny last night so he cut his delivery shift short. I hope it's an easy and cheap fix!
Still hoping to go to that party but the car is more important. N is napping right now. I need to shower.
DS was running around earlier and misjudged a doorframe and smacked his head really hard. Poor kid. He seems fine now.

N is five months today! I took photos but I need to get them off the 'real' camera.

Hey ladies, just stopping by to let you know I haven't forgotten you. We have been out of town for a wedding this past week and it has been crazy. I am exhausted but having so much fun, this is the first time most of my family has seen Q so that has been great.
We have a full day of travel tomorrow so we will see how Q does, I am not excited.

My new shoes arrived two days early! I just took Indy for a quick 1.26 mile walk and approve of the shoes. I got the Grassbow Air by Merrell and it cracks me up that under features it lists "vegan friendly footwear".
I've also been using the "Lose it!" app to log calories and exercise since I don't want to pay for WW. I'm loving it, anyone else use it?

I'm loving DHs new truck. He got the extended cab and I can actually sit in the back seat in between the two car seats. It's incredibly roomy. We made the 2 hr ride to our vacation house for the weekend and B did great because I was able to entertain him. We can usually only travel at naptime and hope he sleeps for the majority of it.
Today he slept for 1/2 and hour but was great for the rest of the ride then had an actual nap in the packnplay after we arrived!
Also, B is really getting this sleep thing down. It takes him like 30 seconds in his crib/packnplay with his paci to go down. This kinda blows my mind because DD required aaaaaall the rocking and shushing and bouncing. FFSC: I totally credit daycare.

Busy day over here! Took M to brunch at H's favorite spot then picked up W from my parents house and went to ride the train at a nearby amusement park. Since we'll spend all day tomorrow celebrating our dads, it was a fun morning to celebrate H! This afternoon we have a birthday party for a friend's 2 year old at the splash pad that we're all looking forward to!

Hi! Spent the morning running errands with the 2yo while mh stayed home with R. He napped 80% of the time we were gone. Got home, fed lunch and put R down for another nap and now that he is waking up 40 minutes later mh is going to lay down. I swear the man cannot function without a daily nap, it is super frustrating. He is worse than a toddler. Meanwhile I was the one up until 1 with a crying baby and up at 8:30 with the toddler. But by all means he totally deserves a nap 🙄

Lakes, does that mean you can eat your shoes? 😉 ellabee, I credit daycare wih teaching J how to self-sooth/ sleep. I was hoping the same would happen with B. It's not.

@lakegirl, I had used loseit years ago when iPhones were still new. It was just a food tracker and I've been using MyFitnessPal recently. Are there new features on loseit that you like?
C decided today she would go from sitting to standing holding on to my hands. Slow. Down!

I'm just tracking calories and excercise so I don't need anything fancy. Myfitnesspal wasn't as visually pleasing and seemed like it had a lot of other stuff? Am I missing out? Should I be using it? I have fomo pibblemom!

Party was low key but fun. Hot as balls but plenty of shade. It was a little awkward because I only knew the hostess but she's someone I want to become better friends with. And her family and friends are awesome. She has a son about 6 months younger than DS.
DS did not nap well today and N's schedule was off from the party so they're both pretty cranky right now.

I posted this on parenting but it needs to go here as well because I'm dying. Fil, mh, and ds are fishing. For some unknown reason I decided to come and hike with dd. It's 80* and 94% humidity. I feel like I'm swimming. I'm doing the loop around the lake and just stumble across some young'uns full on x-rated making out. Don't mind the sweaty old lady with a baby strapped to her chest. Or do. This could be your future!

I just got back from a walk with the girls, toddler in the jogging stroller and baby in the ergo, I think I might die. Should I look into a double jogging stroller or do people do those standing/sitting ones? They all seem so expensive but there must be a better way than what I just did.

Lakes omg ha ha. The birthday party we went to yesterday was fun. It was mostly babies but E was fussy. We are going out to dinner with my family soon. I know we will be back later than her bed time. I hope she is ok at the restaurant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a sit and stand and loooooove it. I went with the Chicco Bravo For Two because it works with my baby bucket seat, I think that's the only drawback, you can only attach a Chicco seat to it. If you're not using a bucket then it's not an issue. Ds can stand on the platform of sit on the little jump seat. LOVE IT.

Everyone is taking better naps today. And lack of naps yesterday meant they both slept until 7:20, which was a blessing since I let DH sleep in. I made breakfast, DS and I colored while N and my hubs took a late morning nap. Gotta grocery shop and going to pick up burritos for dinner.
DH is enjoying his day free from kid duties. If DS wasn't being a whiny mess it would be a great day
