This poor child is already getting second child treatment. I picked up lunch yesterday when getting back into town and thought, yeah the chicken caeser sandwich sounds great! And then I took a few bites and realized it had lunch meat on it. Oops. At least it tasted good for those few bites.

What is everyone eating for breakfast? That seems to be the toughest meal for me. I’m meh about eggs right now. I also need something low carb-ish. Although I had a PB&J for breakfast yesterday...oops! I think first tri is about survival, and I can try to eat healthier later.

What about a protein smoothie? I do agree with the bolded - we'll (hopefully) feel better after the first tri, so I try not to stress about what I'm eating now. I just eat what my body will let me.

I hadn’t thought about adding banana to a PB sandwich or doing a smoothie. I will have to try those! Thank you!

My go to breakfast has been a banana, protein powder, ice and milk. It's nice because I can sip on it, which my stomach seems to handle better.

This weekend I also ordered a club sandwich I always get at my favorite place and realized half way through, but ate it anyways...oops?

I usually eat a granola bar right when I wake up, and little frozen sausage biscuits have been my go to (no egg or cheese, because I can't handle that lol).

I just ate a donut for second breakfast, so I'm not sure if I give the best advice.
I can't handle yogurt, which is my usual go to. I've been doing cereal or home made banana bread with peanut butter.
We used to make a great banana "bread" recipe with almond flour, I've been meaning to look it up again! More protein.

What kind of protein powder do you use tapdancer? I’ve definitely eaten lunch meat a handful of times, but I always make sure it’s hot. Will you pass along that recipe when you find it Eames? That sounds yummy!

I ate lunch meat all the time with my DD. and this pregnancy as well. It's not even something that registers as "bad" to me.

I eat lunch meat a little bit, but I make sure it is hot before I put it on the sandwich.

Thank you! I’m going to have to make this! We used to make it when my daughter was a newborn and I was nursing constantly. It was a good snack that felt a little more balanced than all carbs. Toasted a slice with a little butter. If I remember correctly, keep an eye on the time because it sometimes burned easily. Enjoy!
