Hello! I think I'm ready to hang out here. I mostly play on May15 and the new Geek Culture board.
We started TTC #2 back in November, had an ectopic pregnancy in February, and were benched until June. I had what I thought was my period a week ago, but it was short and light compared to my normal, so I took a test on Tuesday on a hunch. It was genuinely shocking to get a positive, especially because our timing was terrible. I did two rounds of betas this week and both came back on track. I'll do more next week, then I'm guessing an ultrasound in a couple of weeks to confirm that this isn't ectopic as well. I'm feeling very cautiously optimistic, but also like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I hear that's PGAL brain.
I'm currently 4w4d, with an EDD of Feb 19th. We're going to share with our parents and siblings over the weekend, I'm excited for that!
Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Update 6/20 - It looks like I'm out. Yesterday's betas came back with a drop from last week's. I'm not totally shocked since I had some spotting and mild cramping starting Sunday, but still heartbroken - I let myself get my hopes up. I'm just hoping subsequent tests show this isn't another ectopic and that everything happens on its own and quickly. I have everything crossed for a healthy and uneventful 9 months for you ladies!
