I know some of us don't need any encouragement to shop, but I thought it'd be nice to have one place to share a great product we come across to find it easily.

Melissa and Doug chore chartIn efforts for my kids to be more independent, help out around the house, and take charge of their own chores, I bought this. I hope to get going on it next weekend, but I plan to hang it where they can manage it themselves. I'm moving away from more of a behavior chart like we have now to responsibilities.

I know B can do things he just chooses not to, so I’ve decided that we’ll do a chore chart and he’ll earn allowances since his ‘currency’ is actual money. |

Not a product, but I recently got Cadence a library card. It has really increased her desire to read stories and has finally got her interested in different stories and the idea of reading.
I highly recommend the library.

Not a product, but I recently got Cadence a library card. It has really increased her desire to read stories and has finally got her interested in different stories and the idea of reading. I highly recommend the library. I agree. We're there at least twice a week. The librarian asked us to hold off on getting a library card for Josie because it's a big deal field trip in first grade for the kids to get their own library card. I thought it was really sweet that she told us about it ahead of time. |

Library fans here too. We've been out of the habit lately because we've been so busy, but we were going at least once a week. Cuta down on the clutter and gets the girls excited to read. Plus they usually have summer reading programs to reward reading.

+one to the library. You get an invitation to pick up a little suitcase with a soft book, a small stuffed animal, a coupon for a discount at a bookstore and a library card at the 8mo well visit in Holland it is cute. It is a five minute walk from my house, perfect for rainy days.

Cass has had a stubborn patch of eczema. Gold Bond Eczema formula got rid of it almost entirely in a day.

Oh not really a product, but I brought out all kinds of stuff to entertain the kids during the car ride on vacation. Turns out the thing they loved the most; flyers from things we visited that had animals/dinosaurs/Lego in them. Ds especially liked the ones that had maps in them, so I always took a few.

We have almost exactly that same thing! Last year I put a basket in between them, but us kept sliding off, this one is way better! |
