What's happening today ladies?

Our power company is doing planned maintenance today from 9a-1p but said it could go longer. So C and I are going to hang out at the mall for most of the day. I'll be checking if we have power through our app the controls our garage door. So no big plans today.

Morning! Finally, some Maine weather...sunny, breezy, no humidity.

Would y'all believe B slept from 5:30 yesterday afternoon to 7:30 this morning?? I woke him up around 10 to have him potty and put on PJs and he was back out within 30 seconds. Poor kid was exhausted.

Not sure what's on the agenda for today; B and my dad are going golfing. I think Mom and I are probably shopped out (temporarily, anyway) so we might just hang out on the lake.

One of our machines are down at work, so I volunteered to go in late. Instead of getting M2 to school so I could get something done, we’re just getting up and hanging out in bed. Guess I’ll get moving so I can get something accomplished before heading in later.

I’m home with everyone. H was up at 6 & M got up shortly thereafter.

My parents leave tomorrow.

I'm here. Just got the boys to the sitters. She has baby bunnys.. And I want one. Or two. Trying to convince Alex of this... They're the same kind I had as a kid and they're soooo cute! I'll take pictures later. I never take my phone out of the car at her house. He's anti bunny for some reason. She didn't mean to breed them. Turns out "Hayden" is not a boy... She had "him" in with the other boys and surprise! Lol.

Getting ready to work out and then go paint my samples on the walls so I can decide..

Same thing happened with our first litter of bunnies growing up. We had no idea Bonito was actually Bonita. Sadly, that litter didn't survive. My mom had no idea she was pregnant. They pull their fur out to make a nest and my mom kept cleaning the fur out of their house because she thought maybe they were fighting. Nope. So the babies had no where to lay and Bonita had no idea how to take care of them. Her second litter and all subsequent litters did just fine. I think we had like 30 rabbits at one point.

Kids are at school and I'm working from home and heading to the dermatologist soon for a skin check, then touring a house over lunch. My sister is at her makeup MLM conference in SLC and it sounds super fun despite there only wine served at meals and no bars.

I am also trying on some new UA leggings/crops and they are noticeably tight at the cuffs, but otherwise are comfy. Is this a deal breaker? I'm super lazy and don't want to return.

Happened to me too. I had Andrea and Ashley. Turns out Ashley should of been Andrew.. I went from 2 rabbits to 19 in 3 litters lol. I want 2 girls or 2 boys. DNW babies.

I love bunnys! I smuggled a bunny into my dorm room my sophomore year in college. Lived with me till the end of the year. He was awesome! Sadly he got out of the fence at my parents house and hurt himself somehow cause he ended up dying a few days later.

I would totally get a bunny again if Tim would get on board. Although, my dog killed a raccoon right in front of me Wed morning, so maybe keeping "prey" in the house probably isn't a good idea. Asshole dog.

We've considered rescuing a retired racing greyhound but decided against it because Sinny looks similar to those mechanical hares and apparently old habits die hard. DNW him eating the cat.

We rescued a bunny that we found in our neighborhood when we lived in an apartment. He almost was run over by a car and a cat was chasing him. It was obviously someone's pet that they just released. We gave him to C's cousin because he had a bunny hutch. His live in girlfriend decided to let him roam the house. The dog scared him and he had a heart attach.

I knew we shouldn't have given the bunny to him. I was angry for a week.

Hi I’m here! My day is.... the exact same as yesterday, lol. But sub out target for a grocery store run. I am very happy it’s Friday though, it’s been a long week.

Target has started putting out some of there colder weather clothes and the baby girl stuff is so cute! I can’t wait to buy all the things for C.... when the temps drop below a 110!!

Slow day for me here at work today. I'm trying to pry responsibilities from my supervisors fingers, but he has a death grip on them. He does not want to give anything up, even though he has more/different responsibilities that came with his own promotion. Frustrating.

We are going camping at a place we call the "round hole" this weekend. It's on the bank of a pretty river on some farmers land. It has a waterfall and a nice little swimming area. There is no electricity, so it will be very primitive camping. Almost all of my sisters, BIL's, and nieces and nephews will be coming, so it should be a good time.

Same. We did a few days in a bed and it was bot good.
cagoldi, we had the early wake ups with C. It was brutal m, but it went away as quickly as it came. I hope the same for you!

Morning! I'm working from home today because of a hair appointment this afternoon, and DH is chaperoning Colin's trip to the trampoline park, so I actually have the house to myself! This NEVER happens so I'm psyched. Work has been so busy this week and today will be no different. Honestly though it's been so nice having my manager out of the office for over a week because I've had to step up and handle things, and things are running smoothly. I needed that confidence boost.

In other news, both boys are signed up for fall soccer. I can't believe Chase is even eligible! It was less than $30 for him, so we figured it wouldn't hurt to sign him up and see how it goes. Should be entertaining at least.

This weekend will be errands tomorrow and then we're having everyone over for brunch on Sunday to celebrate my FIL's birthday, plus Colin has a birthday party later that day. I'm hoping to get their Kindle set-up since we leave for Maine next Thursday.

I am jealous. A time hop came up today of us eating pancakes at Grindstone in Winter Harbor. H's family does an annual pancake breakfast on the beach. Not sure if you are familiar with the area, it's outside of Acadia and just gorgeous.

Sounds like you guys are taking full advantage of the Maine stay. Such great memories for the kids!

Anybody use essential oils? Advice on what do you use and for what? I hate being sick and because I’ve been more sick this past year than any other time in my life, I’m looking into what I can do to help our defenses. I’m sure it’s just because I’m more stressed than ever, but I can’t do much about that now, especially since we are entering our busiest season of the year.

I stopped using onions around the house once it warmed up, but I bought some yesterday and put them back out to attract the germs. Lysol is my best friend. Anything else you all do to keep the germs away?

peachsmama I had bunnies as a kid too. We kept them separated in cages outside, but they managed to breed through the cages! That's determination 😉

lahdeedah I use essential oils in a diffuser in the kids room and mine. The blend I use is to promote sleep, but they have a "get well" blend or something that I bought but have not tried yet. I'll look it up and post the link.
