I find something oddly compelling about that avocado pic. Not as food but I like starting at it.

I just tried that Halo Top ice cream everyone's raving about and it tastes like ass. Wtf? J got some the other week after I suggested he might like it (I can't stand the taste of Stevia, so I won't touch it). He got the S'mores flavor and said it was "meh".

That's how I like them too. My (French) FIL prefers them that way. I have loads of delicious radishes in my life. They're from my CSA and usually I get several different types. They just aren't my favorite. Have you tried halving them, sautéing in butter and sprinkling with salt? That's what turned me on to radishes. They're way better cooked than raw. Sauteed radishes are delicious, there were some in my Blue apron meal from saturday night (mixed with roasted potatoes and asparagus) and they were soooo good and J gave all of his to me (after trying one) because he is anti-radish. Also, pickled radishes are one of my favorite things. I make homemade ones and pop them right out of the jar.

Well, I guess my UO is that I don't mind the taste of stevia. Especially fresh stevia.

For the record I've never knowingly tasted stevia to see if I like it

I drink truvia every morning. I like real stevia too but I hate trying to measure it because you need the tiniest pinch, and I always end up ruining my coffee. So I stick to the truvia packets.

For the record I've never knowingly tasted stevia to see if I like it Do you like the taste of other artificial sweeteners? I find that aspartame, sucralose, and stevia all taste about the same, which is gross.

I'm totally making these! I love small pickling recipes where you make one jar to throw in the fridge.

Who knows!

I agree. mapleme said she uses stevia in her truffles, which I couldn't detect, but I remembered it's in Shakology, which tastes like someone poisoned a Carnation Instant Breakfast to me. Blech.

Yikes. Not stevia. Agave. Stevia tastes roughly like ass. The ass flavor can be covered up by some foods, but it must be accounted for.

I purposely try to avoid artificial sweeteners and have not tried stevia. SMIL used to serve us iced tea sweetened with splenda though and it always made me feel sick and more thirsty than before I had something to drink.

Also I'm pretty sure shakeology is also filled with like 375 other disgusting artificial ingredients, no?

You need a doonk measuring spoon. The Trim Healthy Mama store sells them. I think it's 1/32 of a teaspoon.

Vodka. I'm just not a fan of booze that, at it's very best, tastes like nothing.
